Third time back in a month after not having been in over a year. What a difference! Menu is great and everything is beautifully prepared and executed. Casual, friendly and delicious. Perfect.

Fantastic experience - we shared plates, and can highly recommend the crispy cod, Brussels sprouts and the short ribs (sooo tender). The waiting staff were all friendly and attentive, even though we were the worst kind of indecisive! A great dinner was had by all.

Been there many times, this was the worst dinner.
Overly salted salad dressing.. Bread doused in butter, which ruined the bread.
Took close to half hour to get the food. My friend ordered fish and she felt it was
a child's portion.. not great. Will only recommend to a non-foodie.

Pleasant and great food. One suggestion is the cushions on the concreate bench seating are not very comfortable. Too thin.

The food was exceptional as well as our waiter who had fantastic recommendations. We even took home some pastries at the end of the night.

They had run out of burgers, so some of the table didn’t have their meals right away. However, the waiter was very good and gave us two dishes on the House.

How many times have I driven by and not noticed this wonderful restaurant? A lovely surprise. The tiny parking lot was full and I had to search a couple of adjoining residential streets before I found a space. It was worth the effort. We had lunch, and will definitely go back for lunch and breakfast. Loved the mixed juice drinks. Salads and omelets were delicious. The breads and pastries are terrific.

One of best burgers in LA.. excellent pastries and bread.

Needs better lighting in evenings.
Menu and food is consistently good!

Fun brunch and luncheon, needs to enhance dinner with better lighting, and background music.

Service was lovely.

California cuisine at its apex. I wish there was a full bar, but that is my only suggestion.

The black kale salad rocked. The roasted root vegetables were delicious. The sea bass wasn't to our liking; the texture seemed off and it was very "fishy" smelling. The porkchops had more fat than I like, but we ate every bite. The chocolate bread pudding was delightful. The coffee wasn't hot enough to stay hot after adding cream. They do not serve hard liquor, but offer cocktails made with saki or maybe soju.

The waiter was charming, but the service was a bit slow. I don't know whether this as a kitchen issue or a server issue.

I would definitely eat here again. It has the casual atmosphere of a California Pizza Kitchen--and I intend that as a compliment--but with a different menu. The place was shiny and clean.

Exceeded expectations, food was excellent, service was personable and attentive, and the feel/energy of the restaurant is casual but still feels special. A lovely experience for our group of eight. My only regret is we enjoyed our time so much that we kept the staff waiting past closing time without realizing it. Sorry about that!

Maybe it's my age, but the trend in restaurants nowadays is to put tables so close together that you hear your neighbors conversations while you try to have yours. The food was tasty but the discomfort in the seating would make me hesitate to go back.

I sat inside. Perhaps if I tried outdoors in cooler weather, it might have been a different experience.

Superba is a staple for my friends and I. When we can't make a decision we end up here. The food is ALWAYS consistent and memorable. I still dream about a Carbonara that I had three years ago. I wish it was back on the menu, I haven't found anything close since...Not even grandma's, shhh don't tell her ;)

Great food, special service, good drinks & fantastic bread. Pork chop was too dry & chef agreed & remade it. Short ribs well seasoned & salmon best on the menu.

Always have a great dining experience at Superba! Take extra care to make sure dishes are vegetarian. Bread and pastas are to die for...and lots of yummy veggie options.

Recommended by a friend in the know ... went with a group from work. Wine list was excellent, food was creative, fun, and yummy!! Would say the noise level is moderate to high - just something to think about especially if it would be crowded. We ordered family-style and really thought all of the dishes were really good. I eat out a lot for work and I would definitely return!!

What a delight. We have been waiting to try Superba for a year since we sampled
their food at a charity event last year.
So glad we went. The staff could not have been kinder
The food could not have been more fresh or delicious.
A top notch dining experience beginning to end.
We will be back very soon
thanks

Everything was wonderful! The food was fresh and creative. The service was supportive and caring. The room had warmth and buzz. On three specific instances the service exceeded our needs. All of this and on a busy Friday night!

The restaurant was very good (but not great). The atmosphere is very comfortable and you can actually hear each other. The outdoor area is also very nice. The food was good, but a bit over priced for what it was. Our server was nice and pretty attentive for LA. I would recommend Superba as it is a good choice for a decent meal.

An overall excellent place: inspired, healthy-but-not-rigidly-so wood-fired food, some excellent wines on the list, massively good service and great for breakfast lunch and dinner, thoughI thought dinner was best.
