What Insiders Are Saying
All-day Venice spot Superba Food + Bread proves that sometimes sequels are better than the original.
Beautiful space on Lincoln. Venice foodie hot spot, reservations recommended, especially on weekends. Fantastic menu and an incredible assortment of house made pastries. 10 out of 10!
Deliciousness. Also, we LOVE KAMRON, he is THE BEST!!!!!!
Superba is a great casual restaurant. I always enjoy it, I’m dreaming of the bread. Don’t expect to have a quiet romantic dinner there, lots of families. Choose the patio for lower noise volume.
I had heard so many great things about Superba, so I was a little disappointed with our dinner experience. Was pretty underwhelmed. Enjoyed the tomato toast appetizer but the rest was just ok. Maybe better for breakfast and lunch. Will choose elsewhere for dinner next time.
We had to ask for wine list. We had to ask for drink refills. We had to request coffee.
So basically, no upselling was done to promote the restaurant.
Would have ordered Patsy if offered.
I've been here for brunch and it's great but the dinner was not good at all. Everything was way over salted to the point that I couldn't even eat one of the dishes and sent it back. Left very unsatisfied.
We come here at least once a week. The food is always consistent, fresh and delicious with professional, kind service and just an overall consistently very pleasant meal and evening!
If you go for dinner, you MUST get the bread, butter & chive thingy! You’ll need that knife to fight your fellow diners for the other piece of bread!
The angel hair pasta was the best pasta I’ve ever had.
I’m so annoyed with OpenTable. Too many emails. Stop emailing me
Food is consistently interesting and inventive. The staff is over worked. Love the pastries and freshly baked breads.
Gotta hire more people to take care of your customers. Exhausted wait staff feels weird and a little sad.
We are never disappointed when we walk through the doors of Superba F&B. Abbey and the her colleagues are simply spot on. Her knowledge about wine is admirable, and her humbleness brings us back each time. I was happy and delighted with our last meal, and looking forward to visiting again soon!
A friend recommended we try this place and it lived up to his high opinion of the experience. Food was excellent with a good variety of choices. I will be back, just wish they were in Pasadena where I live!
I love Superba! The food is always fresh, seasonal and delicious. The service was fabulous and friendly. I highly recommend this place and continue to frequent it.
Dinner menu is superb. We went for brunch a few times, but took our parents out for dinner this last time. Everyone was blown away at the quality and tastiness of everything! Great, cool mellow vibe too. Highly recommend the spinach side, salmon entree, the simple angel hair with tomato pasta, and the gooey, crispy bread with butter. Love, love this place.
Great time. We had a 4 year old with us and it worked out perfectly.
We are ALWAYS happy with Superba! The manager, Abbey, is fantastic--making sure quests are happy. The food is super fresh and tasty. We love Superba! Highly recommend.
This is the first time I have had dinner here and found it exceptionally good. I had the salmon, which was great but the vegetables were soaked in olive oil and/or butter, otherwise I would have given the food 5 stars. The grilled bread was to die for and a must, regardless of the calories. The service was great as usual.
Definitely going back soon I hope.
PS I love weekend brunch here despite no reservations and usually a long wait but worth it.
Our server and the sommelier were both really wonderful and the ambience was great. Food was good too!!
Superba Food and Bread was a treat for a dinner date. I had gone a dozen times for breakfast (a bit too healthy and vegan for my taste) but the dinner menu featured meat and vegetables and was very well executed and an excellent staff.
We had the steaks and the pork chops and loved them both. The tomato and burrata was also delicious -- an amazing, perfectly ripe tomato! The wine was also interesting and tasty. The service was good too. The decor is a bit boring, but this is compensated for by the relatively low level of noise. It is a good place to meet up and chat with friends over a great meal.
The bread and the food are delicious. Don't miss the brusselsprouts They are amazing.
Really great service and friendly staff.
Food was tasty and restaurant is a solid choice for healthy local options with a hip atmosphere.
Very friendly and informed staff, service for a group of 6 was excellent and concerned and attentive to our every need. Very interesting breakfast menu far away from the regular eggs and pancakes. Hot cakes were a delicious treat not seen anywhere else.
Very unique cafe and bakery. Found this gem near the vacation spot we rented. All pastries and bread are made in house. The sourdough bread and chocolate croissants are a must try! The kale toast and eggs in purgatory breakfast options were incredible! Have been here 3 times already and will definitely be back.
My third visit to Superba - this time with family visiting from out of town. A hit all around and absolutely outstanding service!
I go here allot and still love going here. But... some days the service is lacking and it happens the food is lacy.
Wonderful as always! We love Superba! Delicious, friendly and chic!
Bread is delicious and the roasted chicken is superb. Cod dinner is like fish and chips, taste was good but the frying makes it less healthy. Beer and wine only though they try to do faux cocktails with a sake "sabe" in drinks that are infused with spirits. Open and airy. Lots of people with dogs on the patio.
Always a lovely experience at Superba. Wonderful food and service. Great wine list.
The food and service at Superba (Venice) have been consistently good each time I've been there (dinners only). All baked items are made in-house every morning, and everything has been delicious and fresh. Their charred thick cut bread is a must-have, even if you are not a fan of bread. I've yet to be disappointed by any menu item. The atmosphere is casual chic and airy. The restaurant has a small parking lot for only about a dozen vehicles so you'll likely have to find parking on nearby residential streets. The only other con would be the street noise (e.g. honking, car alarms) from Lincoln Boulevard as the restaurant has an open floor plan that connects the outside and inside dining areas. I would recommend going to Superba Venice during off hours for an enjoyable time.
Terrific food, wonderful service! The manager came over and took time to have a great conversation about food, recipes,. Every dish was different from the usual fare and absolutely delicious! We will return many times and recommend Superba to all our friends!
I had the lamb ribs , they were ok, not very meaty. The taste was good. They were just ok. Great blood orange margarita. The server wasn’t friendly, he acted like he was doing us a favor 👎
Always solid for dinner. The bakery is also legit.
Love Kam - thanks so much for another great night!
The bakery goodies are to die for. Nothing beats the pancakes also.
Great food, nice ambience and close to home. What is not to like.
Delicious food. Loved the Sunday Night Fried Chicken. Great to share with leftovers to take home.
mushroom toast very tasty, Burrata and beets delicious. Roasted brussel sprouts with egg was tasteless and the sprouts, though small were hard and not roasted well. Great tasting fries and came hot.
Good to change the menu, but I was so looking forward to the tempura vegetables I had on my first visit which were the best I have ever had.
I will visit again for sure.
