We will be hosting a wedding on Sunday, January 14, 2024 and will be accepting walk-ins only at our Mountainside Bar. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you!

This iconic lakeside lodge and restaurant is the ideal Tahoe getaway. With a charming lakeside hotel, fantastic food and a panoramic lake view, it is nothing short of a magical mountain experience.               Old school and unchanged. Location on the lake is priceless. We visit every time we are at the Lake.

              Our experience at Sunnyside was wonderful! It never disappoints. We have been dining there for over 30 years. Tonight our group enjoyed the filet, the halibut, and the roasted chicken. Each dish was delicious and beautifully served. The waitstaff was attentive and professional.

              I did not have high expectations after reading recent reviews. The burgers, steak, and salmon bowl were all wonderful! We had 5:30 reservation, got a window seat, and the place was pretty quiet. No complaints. We'd easily go again.

              Memorably bad service. Spoke to our waiter once. Constant long waits - we were never asked if we wanted another drink, how food was, etc.

              We very like the ambience of Sunnyside, but the food this time was only meh, mostly because the salmon bowl that we remembered fondly from last year has changed.
