Just a wonderful experience. Parking is not easy... small lot and hard to find street parking. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. It was my husband's birthday and it was a delight. My daughter and I had onion soup and cesar salad. We shared a nacho appetizer. My husband had a special mushroom dish with mashed potatoes. For dessert he had a shamrock shake and we shared an apple pie. We were very full and had to take some food home...but extremely satisfied. Can't wait to return.

Love this place. The mac and cheese, story fry salad and desserts are incredible. Plus the servers are great. We had Thaddeus, who was easy on the eye and very knowledgeable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our delightful
cuisine and had a relaxed brunch in a gorgeously designed space. I look forward to trying Suncafe for lunch or dinner, and will definetely return for brunch again.

Food was delicious. Who knew you could make ricotta out of cashews. Almost made me forget about meat and dairy

Restaurant was nice, food was good, service was awful....and they were pretty much out of at least one mail ingredient for every cocktail we tried to order.

Loved it so much last week that as soon as we landed at LAX we went straight to hotel to drop off luggage and immediately headed back to SunCafe for another night of extraordinary service and a VERY yummy meal!

Superb place for an outdoor meal of creative healthy food. Perfect patio for dogs and they are very welcomed.

What a wonderful experience! Went for the first time Saturday night and everything was just right. The restaurant looks beautiful, everything well kept up and nicely decorated.
Food was great, we had a vegan, vegetarians and meat eaters in our party and everyone loved their dinner, drinks were tasty, and the best of all, the service was outstanding, we ere served promptly, got our drinks and starters, the main meal was served and we all got our meals at the same time, that is a plus.
We were on our way to a show in NoHo so were pleased that we had a great meal, a good time and had time to spare to get to the theatre.
Loved it, and will be back.

We found this restaurant while searching Open Table. We travel to LA often but usually don't get far from our hotel/ room service. Wanting something different we read the reviews on this restaurant and decided to give it a try! From the moment we walked in until the moment we left the staff could not have been more available and helpful. Not once did we feel hesitant asking all kinds of questions about the menu and the staff took as much time as needed to make sure we were going to get exactly what we wanted. You can absolutely taste the freshness of every ingredient and the commitment made to healthy and delicious dining cannot be missed! Will definitely be returning! The restaurant itself is very charming and warm!

Accepted a reservation for 9:15 even though the kitchen closed at 9:00.

Loved their new hot lasagna and TLT. Key lime pie is da bomb.

We were excited to go to the restaurant as it was highly rated. Even thought the staff was LOVELY and SWEET the service was slow and food very average.

Went for birthday brunch with the family. My first visit to their new location. Great vibe and food was amazing. Great for plant based eaters, but tasty enough for everyone! Highly recommend.

We ordered the taco lettuce cups which was super refreshing and so full of flavor. Highly recommend. The mac n cheese was really good and my friend was SHOCKED it was vegan. It was really filling and we could only finish half. The almond butter cheesecake was really rich and great for sharing.

Nachos are large enough for 6 people to share and delicious!!

The vegetarian fare is exceptionally tasty at this trendy little cafe. The people that work there are very nice and quite knowledgeable about the menu items.

We loved the ambiance and the food was delightful! I chose this restaurant for the menu and then was surprised at how beautiful it was. Everything we ordered was delicious but the almond butter cheesecake was astoundingly good.

Fantastic food, space and service! They have a really charming outdoor area. Even though it faces a busy street, the street traffic isn't bad. And there is free parking (for 12 cars I believe).

Everything was delicious but my favorite were the zucchini tacos. I had pasta and my husband had a burger both were delicious.

Sun Cafe never disappoints. My friend and dinner companion noted the food to be bold. What a great description - bold cuisine! Full of creative flavor, it's food that wakes up the taste-buds.

My favorite Vegan restaurant in Los Angeles! Innovative and tasty preparation of food, even non-Vegans can enjoy. Ask for Thaddeus to be your server, if he is working!

I'm not a vegan but love experiencing new foods. Sun cafe was great! Also liked how the garden blocks out the sight of the street, a little oasis.

Ambiance is home like and quaint. The menu reads well but execution was poor. This is our second chance but won't return. BLT was on big bun with mostly L and the B was limp/mushy tempeh like bacon. Crispy bacon could have improved the sandwich. The nachos were highly anticipated but faux cheese was cold and corn chips not fresh at all. Reminded me of gas station nachos. BbQ cauliflower was tasty. The highlight was the sparkling blue berry mojito, didn't skimp on the alcohol or flavor. My suggestion is go for drinks and appetizer. Our server was sweet the few times we saw her but we had to get up twice to order and pay the check.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. The chips that came with the nachos were store bought and the lettuce and veggies in the salad weren't fresh. I will try again just in case it was a bad day.

SunCafe is, without hesitation, my FAVORITE VEGAN RESTAURANT in Southern California. I have been plant-based vegan for three years, and I can enjoy any item I wish off their varied menu and my non-Vegan friends always enjoy the experience as well. I live over 40 miles away, but always worth the drive to go there for dinner. Also, super convenient if you are heading to an event at the Hollywood Bowl as you can leave your car parked on the street and pick up a shuttle bus right across Ventura Blvd. Servers Thaddeus and Jessica will take great care of you! Enjoy :)

Loved it here! A bit on the pricey side however. Our server was also great.

This is one of the best vegan restaurants in LA. And the patio seating is lovely.
