SunCafe is in a cute old house. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The food is vegan and exceptional-even to a non-vegan/non-vegetarian. Enjoyed it very much.

Everything had nuts in it which I’m allergic to. Everything myself and my friend ordered was excessively salty and that was the main flavor profile. It was honestly all gross. We left half the food. My bill was $50 and I ate something else when I got home. I would never go back.

The patio has lots of greenery and shade or sun options. Everything is vegan and the majority can be gluten-free, with above average results. Staff is nice and attentive.

Love SunCafe. The food was way beyond expectations, and has made me a big fan. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because of the ambiance and the service; both were perfectly fine (there is an outside patio that looked nice, and there is a small parking lot--nice bonuses), but I thought that the food (and the prices, which are not cheap) didn't match the dining experience. That's more about my expectations, of course, but one should know that it's a very casual place, and is way more about the food than the dining experience. Highly recommended.

This is a review of OpenTable not the restaurant… I made a reservation, but when I got there, the restaurant was closed. Open table needs to be in sync with the restaurants. It was a real disappointment to make a reservation get all the way there only to see a padlock on the door.

This place is a hidden gem! Great vibe and healthy meals that taste great! Excellent service, and it's never so crowded that you can't have fun. Highly recommend! Also, try the Mac & "cheese" and the mushroom dish!

Sun Cafe is a real gem. Has been for so long... The food and beverage is all so good, and so creative. It's not inexpensive, but it's all so high quality. It's also a place that you can bring carnivores and they'll still be able to order delicious food that they'll love.

We loved Suncafe! As a vegan restaurant the choices were diverse and represented a variety of cuisines. Our server was attentive without being pushy and we loved the ambience—the private outdoor eating area was heated, lit up and very cozy. The portions were also huge! And I loved everything we ordered, from the nachos (wouldn’t know it was vegan cheese if I wasn’t told), to the burrito salad to the flavorful risotto. I will definitely return!

When the weather is Right the Patio here is Perfect! Everyone enjoyed their meals and we were so happy to choose this restaurant as it was close to our Hotel. It may be in an odd location, and the parking lot is a little right - But you will not be disappointed with the Food or Service!

Everything went well, but waiter service took a long time to take our order and took a little over 30 minutes after we were done with our meal for use to ask for the check. However the waiter was very nice on each encounter. Circling the area a few times would go a long way.

Just a wonderful experience. Parking is not easy... small lot and hard to find street parking. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. It was my husband's birthday and it was a delight. My daughter and I had onion soup and cesar salad. We shared a nacho appetizer. My husband had a special mushroom dish with mashed potatoes. For dessert he had a shamrock shake and we shared an apple pie. We were very full and had to take some food home...but extremely satisfied. Can't wait to return.

3/3/17 Loved it so much last week that as soon as we landed at LAX we went straight to hotel to drop off luggage and immediately headed back to SunCafe for another night of extraordinary service and a VERY yummy meal!
