Our waitress was overwhelmed. The waiter that was helping was extremely rude and gave us wrong information about brunch menu. Our water weren’t refilled. Really enjoyed first time I was there for brunch enough to bring out of town guests. Way to unorganized. Didn’t even receive everything I ordered

We come from out of town and always enjoy meeting friends at Sumo Maya. The sushi is unique and different. Our biggest complaint? HOW MANY TIMES ARE YOU GOING TO CONTACT US TO VERIFY OUR RESERVATION? We received three from Open Table and then two phone calls. WTF? Are you guys that paranoid? Is your staff bored? It's super annoying and at the fifth contact (phone call) I ripped into the girl who called. It's absurd and ridiculous. Do better.

One of my favorite places to go. The Sea Bass there is incredible! However charging $2 for an ice cube for an old fashioned drink is pretty ridiculous! I get an old fashioned pretty much everywhere I go and have NEVER been charged extra for an ice cube. They should be ashamed of that.

All appetizers were yummy! They were brought out quickly and are unlimited on the Sunday Brunch. $39.95 per person. Bottomless mimosas - additional $35. Main meal was so so. My husband had the Wagyu beef. It was tough to cut and chew. I had the spicy chicken. Good blend of flavors. Biggest Drawback: DJ and the music were too loud and thumping for our likes at 10:30 AM. It was hard to hear my husband without yelling. Also-if you are a football fan, there are no TVs in the place. Just FYI.

I have frequent in SumoMaya several times. It’s a great place for a casual cocktail, or a birthday celebration. Myself and my good friend we had a dual b-day celebration. We just consistently ordered different appetizers and drinks. My favorite items are calamari and the crispy rock shrimp. The scene in the staff always exceed expectations.✌️

This was our first visit. We had a late reservation (9:30pm) and apparently the kitchen closed at 10pm! We felt very rushed to order and then to leave. Food was very good but the dining experience was not great at all. Why accept reservations that late if you are just going to push people out 30 min later??? I’m not sure if I’d go back there.

Sunday brunch - great variety, unlimited small plates. Good presentation, tasty food. Add on unlimited Bloody Mary's, Mimosas, Margaritas, or Draft Beer for $35 more per person (2 hour time limit) and you have the foundation for a very fun brunch. The rangoons and egg rolls were very tasty, as was the Ahi Poke bowl and the Korean Fried Chicken Torta.

Energetic is OpenTable's way of saying that this place is noisy as heck. We love the food and have been there many times. Sushi is great, tuna tostadas delicious, miso eggplant is not to be missed, and the guacamole is exceptional. That said- it is truly impossible to have a conversation, so be forewarned. We went with another couple and requested to be seated in the quietest place possible. No one could hear the person sitting next to them, and table conversation was out of the question. When we return, it will be to sit at the bar and only converse with each other.

Very loud and trendy for the younger crowd....if you're older and want to be able to talk without yelling, this is not for you. However, if you are willing to put up with the noise and being the oldest people in there, the food was off the charts! btw, it was a Wednesday night that we went, can't imagine what Friday or Saturday must be like.

This was our 2nd visit after having an exceptional time on our first visit. Unfortunately, we can not say the same this time around. Ordered two sushi rolls, and both lacked size and taste, and the sushi rice was crunchy... undercooked. We ordered Paella which was very soupy and a total miss on the bake portion, no crunchy baked bottom crust. Received call/text advising they were unable to confirm indoor or outdoor seating.... arrived, and to the restaurant was half full at best. Just a total miss for a Sunday Night. Guess Friday and Saturday nights are the more favorable nights and atmosphere.
