About Summit House Restaurant - Fullerton
For Centuries the English Inn has earned a great reputation for Friendly faces, cozy rooms and cheery firesides. As soon as guests come to the Inn, the charming host and hostesses run to greet them. In front of a crackling fire one can partake of good hearty fare - the tankard is always full - the spit hung with roasting beefs - and a table heaped with sweets and such.
The Inn keepers of the Summit House were inspired by the custom to create a hospitable place where friends could meet to eat, drink and delight in the views of North Orange County's countryside.
To one and all, welcome!

Summit House Restaurant - Fullerton Ratings and Reviews
Very inviting waiting space, beautifully decorated dining room, great view. We dined at about 9:30pm and had the prime rib and crusted halibut. Prime rib fairly thin and the halibut was not crisp enough for my liking (taste was good) and the purple (potatoes?) not good. Lemon torte fairly good. Service was excellent for the most part. Perhaps the lateness of the hour had something to do with the presentation of the food.
Thanks to Valerie for the extra service and witty responses. My fault as I made a crumby mess at the table and she used a special tool catching all the leftover crumby madness. The popover (Yorkshire Pudding) this time was different---shaped like a boxing glove---yet the taste was delicious. Delightful little mouth party at the Summit. Mark F. was dressed so well I thought is this the manager or some dude Armani sent over? Excellent time.
We just had a wonderful birthday celebration at Summit House and wanted to thank our servers, Linda and Alvaro, for making our evening so special. The food was excellent, the room beautiful, and Linda and Alvaro were so helpful and attentive that we couldn't have had a better experience. We have been dining here for many years and would highly recommend this establishment for any special occasion.
Had Thanksgiving dinner. The traditional turkey was excellent. Portions were generous so we had leftovers at home. Very busy but they seemed well organized. Seated only 10 minutes after our reservation time. Would definitely recommend for holidays. Inspite of Thanksgiving the prix fixe menu offered prime rib, lobster and other choices.
Have dined there many times and it has always been a good time
The Sunmit House is always amazing. They are known for their prime rib BUT....... the ribeye is phenomenal!! This is my favorite restaurant for the holidays. The decor is absolute beautiful. There is a gorgeous Christmas tree to take pics by. Request window seating. You can see all the city lights for miles. Breathtaking scenery!!
We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. Linda was our server and she was excellent, very outgoing and energetic, she knew the menu and wine list very well. We will ask for her when we dine on New Year's Eve. She truly made our evening a memorable event.
Service was mediocre. Waiter seemed only remotely interested. Cottage cut of prime rib was one little tiny piece compared to the much larger cut that two others ordered. Caesar salad was coated with dry parmigano cheese, not the shaved parmigano listed in the on-line menu. All in all, food was mediocre at best.
As we arrived at our table, a card with Happy Anniversary hand written was nicely displayed, signed by the staff. Was a nice touch. Petra, our server, was wonderful. Had be best service and our meal was onevof the best. Highly recommend especially for a special occasion.
Always a joy to eat at the Summit House. I live in Newport Beach where there are an abundance of restaurant choices but, the food selections, combined with attentive service and lovely ambiance is worth the drive. While I wish you were closer, I believe your restaurant is superior so I will continue to treat others to a marvelous evening.
Last year I took my friends for their birthday in December and everything from the food to the service was top notch! This time the service was good, my filet was great but the sides were overcooked and different from last time. I was expecting green beans and instead got two small carrots. The scalloped potatoes were overcooked and not as good as they were my first visit. My friend who has never dined at a 5 star restaurant before ordered the prime rib and she loved every bite and moment that she was there. I will definitely be back some day soon.
Summit House has been my go to spot for my girlfriend and I on our anniversary. On this occasion I took her parents out for a very special evening. They loved it and it had been years since they last visited. The ambiance and service is outstanding. The only thing that I would say is not as enjoyable is the noise level. However, the amazing food and service more than outweighs the noise. Prime rib is my favorite meal and it is always made to order just right. Any meal there is worth getting. I plan to go back at least once per year.
Special thanks to Mark Fleshner always great seeing you thanks for leading the way. Delightful service and Trish was wonderful. The sunset with clouds was especially pleasant. So much illumination in the main dining room (see photos as they explain best) and the Summit was filled to the brim with happy patrons. Thanks to Mark and for the secret peek into the magnificent decorated ballroom. Loved trying the warm mushroom Polenta. Coffee and its presentation was marvelous. See you soon.
I clicked "energetic" for the noise level because nothing really fit. The background noise level was high and made it difficult to carry on a conversation. The food was excellent. Our preferred server, Gladys, was not available that night, but the service was still excellent,
