About Summit House Restaurant - Fullerton
For Centuries the English Inn has earned a great reputation for Friendly faces, cozy rooms and cheery firesides. As soon as guests come to the Inn, the charming host and hostesses run to greet them. In front of a crackling fire one can partake of good hearty fare - the tankard is always full - the spit hung with roasting beefs - and a table heaped with sweets and such.
The Inn keepers of the Summit House were inspired by the custom to create a hospitable place where friends could meet to eat, drink and delight in the views of North Orange County's countryside.

Summit House Restaurant - Fullerton Ratings and Reviews
My friends have recommended this place for years but we just didn't go until this past week. My wife and I wanted to celebrate Valentines Day and our 26 year anniversary so we decided to go on Friday February 16 and it was Great! The service, the people, the food and the ambience was great. I have already recommended this place to others and I definitely will be back soon.
Being 02/14 lunch the dining room was overcrowded and the noise level extremely high. I was disappointed in my piece of Prime Rib, creamed spinach was salty. Service was erratic due to not enough help for this very busy day. I have been here many times and never experienced or been disappointed in the service and Prime Rib as I was this during this visit.
Valentine's Day was frequented by seniors, some with families. Regular clientele also.
My prime rib was ordered medium rare and was bloody. I loved it but wife tried and did not like the rare beef.
Cream corn was swimming in heavy cream, delicious but too much cream. Creamed spinach just ok.
Her lobster tail quite good. Crab cakes and dessert were fine. Bread very good.
Overall, a classic place with traditional food, cost pretty steep for lunch.
To whom it may concern,
It was ok,overall good, but the rib-eye stake was one of the worst I ever eat.
I should make a complain right there but I didn't want to spoil my friends the night.
I have been before with my wife and I got the stake but was a little better last time.
It supposed to melt in your mouth not to chew it like a gum.
We had an early Valentine's Day dinner on Saturday night, the 10th of February.
Unfortunately, extra tables were brought into the dining room to accommodate the extra patrons, and this made for a very crowded and uncomfortable experience.
The service was excellent and the food was great, but the over-crowding was not.
This isn't normal for this establishment. We will return later in the spring when the extra tables have been removed.
Dined at The Summit House to celebrate a 70th birthday. The restaurant service was spectacular. The atmosphere was lovely. Seated at a corner table with a great view of Orange County. Received various courses in a timely and efficient manner. The main entrees were cooked perfectly and the bottomless cream corn was a plus. Ended the night with a surprise, the server delivered a deconstructed strawberry shortcake with candle and all. A lovely night to remember. Thank you!!!
The Summit House's prime rib, never disappoints! I visit this restaurant relatively often and I'm always happy with my selections. This is still the best prime rib I've eaten and I've dine many places. If you're looking for great crab cakes (a little small) and prime rib, this is your spot. No desserts this visit but their cheese cake is good too.
