Excellent food and outstanding service provided by Noah.
STAKES NOT DONE CORRECTLY THIS TIME BUT FREE DEASSERT
Our meal was very delicious and timely served; the onion soup started the evening off just right followed by a prime rib cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful.
We highly recommend Summit House as the perfect place to enjoy great food and service.
We had the scallops wrapped in bacon and house salad for appetizers, both outstanding. Never had a black mustard seed vinaigrette before, it's quite good. My friend had prime rib, it's outstanding here. I had Pekin Duck with wasabi mashed potatoes, the duck was crispy but somewhat dry. The wasabi mashed didn't have the spice I thought it would have. Twomey Sauv Blanc was excellent by the glass, and Marci our server was outstanding. Very consistent restaurant, you'll always have a good experience here
Outstanding ambiance. Impeccable service. Very good food. Patrons don’t dress like slobs.
The table was wonderful with a view and fairly quiet. The service was good. I ordered a cobb salad and it was horrible. I could hardly find the chicken or anything but iceberg lettuce. Usually Cobb salads are not dressed in a balsamic dressing. Either the lettuce was darkened from being old or the dressing discolored the lettuce. The bacon bits were charred beyond recognition or edibility. I ate salad because I don't like to make a fuss but I don't think I would come back to this restaurant again. It has become too expensive the quality of the food.
The server did bring three free desserts to celebrate the three birthdays. Thank you for that recognition. The dessert was very good.
Awesome view. Excellent customer service. Delicious food.
Food was delicious as always and service was great. The view was lovely. Only downside - it was a little noisy. Other than that, it was a great evening.
Nice tie and atmosphere. Polenta comes in patties of two, interesting. Thanks to Marci for seating us and Gladys for serving us. Primer rib was reported to be good. Coffee is delicious.
Great experience. The Tavern was a perfect spot to hag out and wait for our reservation with excellent service. We were seated timely and the service continued in the dining room. Food was served timely and was very good.
Prime rib and mashed potato are too salty, everything else perfect.
Super friendly and warm atmosphere, and mushroom appetizer was so good
incredibly awesome menu, food was perfect in everyvway. Highly recommend the experience !
Excellent ambience and food . Service was excellent.
Great prime rib and great service every time we go.
What an outstanding venue for great food, attentive service and an excellent business dinner setting! Marci was incredible!
Excellent food as well as attentive service
Summit is always a great place for formal or casual dinning.
Nice time with polenta presented in little white bowl. Prime rib was good like coffee.
Every detail of fine dining can be found at this Special Occasion restaurant! Server served with a flair! which was great fun! He was patient, his timing perfect; he was happy to accommodate our requests for pictures, and did an outstanding job of making them good. The dinner bill jumped to greater heights than I would have expected, so I will not be able to return nearly as often as I would really like to do!
Our experience at the summit house was wonderful as usual. We brought people from New Jersey and they were very impressed everything was perfect
Nice place! Good service! Excellent steakhouse
Love this place! Never had bad service or a bad meal. Always makes us feel special can’t wait till next time.
Great meal and amazing customer service. Summit House staff never disappoint. We always get treated like royalty! Gladys provided such a wonderful dining experience and the meal was truly spectacular.
The hostess was very rude to my husband when we walked in. It was his bday and she had major attitude, no greeting, and she lectured him holistic table request not being more specific. She started off the night on a low note that thankfully improved. Our waiter was not memorable, but attentive. The food was outstanding, the music delightful and the view breath taking.
The Summit House has been on our top 3 list for our family events for many years. There were 4 of us at our last visit and we were delighted to be seated at a window table as we had requested at the time I made reservations on Open Table. The problem we had was that the tables along the window were extremely close together which meant if you were sitting next to the window getting up from the table was very difficult.
Also conversations wete difficult from the general chatter in the room and conversations at the tables on both sides of us.
That being said our waiter was outstanding and couldn't have been more congenial or provided us better service. The best service we have ever had there.
We also thought that as usual the food was excellent and we all commented that it seemed even better than any of our previous visits.
Great view and elegant, understated decor.
The food is great and the price is reasonable. However i miss their cold meat plater where they don't serve salami and cured meat now. Hope they will serve it again.
Prime rib not up to par. over done, mushy, missing end cap
Our server Joel was exceptional. He gave us great insight on the menu. Plus he and other staff made certain our glasses of iced tea and coffee were always full. We split the house salad which was so delicious. The pecans were toasted just right to add a nice crunchiness to the greens.
Our desserts were great as well. The setting is so beautiful it would make a wonderful venue for a private party or wedding reception.
There’s a lovely gazebo outside with an amphitheater that would just be perfect for wedding vows.
Check out this wonderful gem in Fullerton.
The prime rib would be good for a prime rib sandwich. I have never seen anything so small. The price for a 6oz piece of meat was a joke. I was in the business for nearly 20 years and I can assure you I know what I am saying. We served a 12oz prime rib as the small piece. Our largest was over 18oz. This was a ripoff.
Celebrating dad's birthday
Such a lovely restaurant! Beautiful ambiance and delicious food!
Wonderful time! Howard was playing putting on the ritz or was it "pure imagination." Good service and the prime rib was lovely. Coffee reflected many things and the windows and lighting cooperated. Thank you Mark, Chef Timothy Plumb and the staff.
Service, food, atmosphere were all fantastic. I ordered the 12oz filet, cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the double pork chop and she loved it. Cabbage, potato, leak soup was really flavorful and the dessert platter was a winner. Karen really took care of our party of 4. Bring a full wallet, an empty stomach and put on some clothes. You'll enjoy The Summit House.
We love the Summit House for all our special occasions. We just celebrated our 46th anniversary with a delicious dinner of prime rib and a special lobster dish with pasta. The service was excellent, with Karen as our server, and we always look forward to seeing Alvaro. To us, he is the face of the Summit House. We had a lovely evening and will continue to celebrate our special occasions here.
We have been going here for over twenty years. Its one of our favorite "special occasion" restaurants. The food is always great.
Gave to say my prime rib was way over cooked and lacked flavor for sure . I kept raving about how great the prime rib was here to my friends as I've been here before once and we were all left unsatified. Not worth the price at all . Wouldn't be eating here again .
it was a great night. great service from Kyle. Food was fabulous.
The food quality is phenomenal and the service was superb Celebrating a birthday. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves. The only complaint is that it is pretty costly compared to other restaurants of similar quality. $50-$70 a plate seemed a bit high. Add an appetizer and a salad and now you’re looking close to $100 per person.I don’t think I will be going back anytime soon but only because of the cost.
This place is a little bit dated. It’s like eating at a country club. It’s old-school California. I will admit that the food was very good. Unfortunately it is in a place that’s like a old stuffy supper club. Management seems to have a challenge with experienced staff in the area and does not seem to be able to get servers who know how to approach a business meeting and when not to interrupt.
