Food was pretty good. This place is best gone for the drinks and deserts. Service was a bit slow to come around.
The menu size was overwhelming and unorganized, the food was terrible, the table and menus were sticky, and the dining room had a foul odor. We will not be back.
My friends and I had a wonderful time
And will return soon
I ordered the passion fruit I believe it is with oranges in it and they only put three oranges in it and then I also my date has the blue one and they were literally just to gummy bears in there so I believe is false advertisement very unsatisfied also notice the table next to me was leaking water from the ceiling taking a picture I have pictures to show you about this review would not let me upload them anyway I've tried
It was fine... I’m happy to spend the $$ of worth it, but an extra 50 cents for ketchup? Cmon!?! They go cheap and are banking on this place. Will stick with Gibson’s when I’m in the Rosemont area.
Good place for kids not adults.
Overpriced and food was not good.
The hostess was not friendly & our waitress never came to our table to refill drinks or check on us after we got our meals. We ordered a $17 shake that we never got. When we got our bill, the shake was on it. The waitress said she will remove it, but never apologized for not bringing it. The food was average, nothing special. We were excited to check this place out, but, unfortunately we won’t be back.
I enjoyed and they even have FREE parking it was my first visit and I’ll define back soon
Way overpriced and oversized portions. Not a good value. Service and food were good, if you don’t mind the cost for a special occasion.
Way to expensive for what you get the food was just ok. The server was funny but took along time to bring us our drinks.
Expensive. You can order a real big glass of kool aid with lots of ice for almost 30 bucks, but it smokes and they throw in some gummy worms.
It was our first time there...extremely expensive and the service was horrible. Our waitress was off helping her bigger tables and had to ask other people twice for help. Also, our soup, salads and dinner all came at the same time so that was terrible. We were trying to eat our soup and salad and then the table got completely crowded because our food was there too so by the time eating it, it was no longer hot so not real happy!! For $210 I would except a hell of a lot more.
It's a great fun place. You're definitely paying for the name.
Overpriced diner food. Sweet sugary drinks. Ice cream sundaes were not anything to brag about.
My kids enjoyed the experience and what was offered but I would have rather spent my money elsewhere for the price. Place was loud, not the cleanest and $$$$$
Brought my daughter and nieces to a concert in Chicago my coworker recommended this place and we loved it.
First time at this restaurant and I must say the Service was exceptional. We arrived to our reservation a couple minutes late and the hostess was super cool about it. Everyone made us feel welcome.
Our waitress patiently waited for us to take a video while she poured our drinks.
We were happy and hypnotized by the all the different drinks.
Our appetizer was delicious, over all the food was good, my family were pleased.
I had Salmon and it was ok a bit dry and the edges were crispy not used to that when I eat salmon.
I’ll be trying something different next time .
We are so ready to go back.
We had the hazelnut chocolate fondue and I think the consistency of the chow as too thin and not end hazelnut flavor, the chunks of dippers too big. Don’t think I’d order it again, it was disappointing! The restaurant itself very cute!
I took my daughter and three of her friends here for brunch to celebrate her bday. The concept is fun and appealing to kids, but everything is very overpriced! I ordered an omelet and it was not great. The hash browns reminded me of what you would get at a continental breakfast at a hotel...very blah...and again, very overpriced for the quality. If I were to go again, I would go only for the novelty of the fun drinks or dessert only; I would not choose to get an actual meal again. The server was very kind and there were no service issues, though she wasn’t over the top—just average. Having said all that, super fun for the kids and that was the whole point!! I would definitely recommend going here for a special occasion, as the drinks and desserts are pretty awesome, and you won’t find anything like it elsewhere.
Well. I made reservations and still had to wait 30 mins It was Hot and smelled like a gym in the entrance area I was very disappointed to have taken my niece there for her bday I went years ago. And it was nice. Fell apart threw the years
Interesting drinks the music I didn’t like service was right on time
I came 10 minutes earlier and the table wasn’t ready. They made us wait until everyone in the party was there to even be seated. It was inconvenient because some of the people were coming from other events so they were a few minutes late. We had to wait until after 7pm anyways. Other than that the server was EXCELLENT. Very kind and came to check on us often. I still would go back. Thank you.
This restaurant isn't the best for families with young kids. While the name and the idea sounds fun for kids, it's better for teens and adults. The drinks and atmosphere are great for 12+. They do not have a kids menu at all, and while our kids could eat off the appetizer menu, it gets pricey. I would go again for a fun night out with friends and/or a date night without kids.
It was super cramped. I was literally sitting with the back of my chair up against the back of the chair of the person behind me. My boyfriend was in a corner behind a booth. I get this is a fun place for kid, but parents allowed them to scream and be incredibly obnoxious.
It was my first time and I wasnt impress. I ordered chicken & waffles and my chicken was not done so i had to send it back. I wasnt accommodated or offered any thing for waiting on my food to be re-cooked. The goblet drinks are full of ice. Dont know if I will be going back, if so it will be for drinks at the bar area not the food.
It is loud but fun. A good place to go with a group for a fun night out but don't expect to be able to carry a conversation. The food was tasty. We each had a different burger. They were all gigantic and the amount of fries was unnecessarily huge to the point of feeling wasteful. The desserts are also huge and big enough to share with a few friends. We enjoyed watching people order the 60oz drinks and $99 sundae (which triggered a dance party upon presentation). It was enjoyable and entertaining just because everything was over the top. We will probably go back.
The food was not good it probably has to do with large menu options. We arrived early even though restaurant seemed empty they made us wait until our time which was 40 mins.
Thanks for your wonderful service, your staff did a great job making my son birthday great
Saw other reviews and was worried about the noise issues. We went at 3pm and the noise level was just fine. There are no kids menus but the appetizer menu worked great for the kids! Shakes were huge and great but the fried ice cream wasn’t quite what we were expecting. We should’ve shared the shakes they were so big!! Over all a great experience and would definitely come back.
We had a good experience. The kids loved their fancy drinks and the food was very good. The atmosphere is a little over the top with sensory overload.
Great place for a special occasion- we just went for dessert. It’s pricey, but fun for a birthday. Note that parties over 6 are charged gratuity- in the craziness we added tip b/c I was only handed the signature portion. He offered the bill after I signed. It’s very hectic and busy + we had 8, 9-year old girls with us. 🤷🏼♀️
Fue la celebración de graduación de escuela
The waitress was very impatient with questions even though she acted as if she was too busy for questions. The table buss Man stood as we act as soon as a plate was looking complete he was there ready to take the dishes. The place wasn’t crowded at all for the rush service we’ve received. It was my Birthday and first time but I’ll try again someday
My son wanted to celebrate his 13th birthday here and he wasn't disappointed. As usual, SF was loud and energetic and full of families celebrating birthdays and graduations
The service was excellent! Our waitress was attentive and made the whole experience awesome! The food was great and everyone in our party had a great time! Absolutely recommend!
Food was not good for the price. Only thing good was the ice cream
My teenage daughter ordered a chocolate milk.
First, it was in a kids cup. Secondly, when the waitress poured the milk in to a glass - it was white milk - not knowing that the chocolate was at the bottom. It was never stirred in the kids cup.
Ordered pancakes that were cold.
My daughter ordered crepes and got pancakes
Waitress just wasn’t sympathetic or apologetic at all.
Issac was a great server! Service, Beverage, and Ambiance were the best parts of the experience while at the Sugar Factory. Food could be better on the breakfast side of things but overall decent.
The service we received was horrible. We had to ask for water and silverware are straws. And the food was good. The atmosphere was nice but service and food was bad
The food was very good you get quit a bit for the price paid. I would say food prices are in line with other nice restaurants. I know their signature items are the cool drinks and they are cool indeed but I personally think they are a bit pricey. They boast of a 64oz goblet for the fancy smoky drinks but the cup is filled with ice so you are really paying $27 (no alcohol) for 32ozs. and candy. But my 18 year old and her friends enjoyed themselves and that's what really counts. They enjoyed watching others with get the extra large sundae brought out.
Had made reservations but still have to wait 40 minutes to be seated. Service was okay waiter took at long time to clear table and bring the bill after we asked for it twice.
