Such a fun atmosphere and love the drinks with the dry ice :)
The atmosphere was nice but the food was not good. The drink presentation was nice but the drink was tasteless for $27 and they didn't offer free refills. The waitress seem bothered when asked for extra napkins, ice ex...... It's a different experience for children but not worth the $93 I spent for two. No good Vegetarian options.
The food was good but not worth what they charge for it. The tip is automatically included in the bill (20%) and my waiter didn't deserve 20% . I tip well if it is earned. Since it's automatic, the waiters seem to not care as much. He got our order wrong 3 times! He didn't check up on us to see if we needed anything. We had to send our kids to track him down to get our things straight. And worse thing of all, he messed up the goblet presentation! $25 includes a cool presentation and he jacked it up! Seriously, not worth the money or aggravation. This was on a Monday night, I can't image what it would be like on a busy weekend.
We took our son for his birthday per his request. Thats the only reason I don’t regret it. The food is just ok, it’s definitely not worth the cost. I doubt we’ll ever go back.
Only for the atmosphere. It's a pretty cool places just overratted.
It was an awesome experience!! Great food, drinks and ambiance. Music was elated. An overall great Birthday!
Go later in the evening if you're an adult or it will be packed with children
Food and overall experience was amazing. You cant miss here, everything is great.
I celebrated my birthday there with 9 of my friends and we had a great time. Would definitely come back again
Good server, terrible food, even the kids wouldn’t eat it. And they said everything was too sugary. That from a 7 and 4 year old!
Seated quickly! Really hip and charming waiter! Girls loved the smoking drinks, the onion ring tower was delish and we had a fun time
We had a blast! We had a party of 9, they gave us a great booth so moms could be on one side and girls on the other. The drinks were insane both adult and kid versions.... We ended up just ordering appetizers and drinks and we couldn't even finish. It was delicious, our server was fantastic and it was just an overall great memory for all of us.
Quite overpriced. However the environment is nice for teenagers. I brought my daughter and her friend. They had fun - mission accomplished.
They were able to accommodate our large party.
Had a wonderful time celebrated my husband's birthday this was our first time we loved it and will be returning.
Loved this place it’s the best ! A little pricey but totally worth it
Had a great time, food was good and the server Daniel was great.
The location is adorable, but the website time for a Sunday was not correct😊 but, I will visit again 💕
We had the best time for my 5 year olds birthday! She loved her birthday sparkle in her milk shake! The waitress was very nice to us love it!
My 1st time here and what a great experience. I definitely will be coming here.
It was all super cute and fun...except the almost hour wait for our table we had RESERVATIONS FOR! What’s the point of making them?
Great food, amazing service, super loud restaurant, obnoxious pricing. I understand it’s Chicago and all but the pricing was a bit over the top on a lot of items.
Prices are way to expensive for what you get. The atmosphere was fun for a birthday. The 20% gratatity is not appreciated.
Our night started very roughly at the Sugar Factory. We had reservations for 10 at 8:30pm. Our entire party arrived by 8:40 (within Sugar Factory's grave limit). We weren't sat for another 20 minutes. Our first server left a lot to be desired. He was unenthusiastic and when we asked for an addition to one of the drinks (pop rocks on the rim), he said no, though the drink came out with them on the rim. He brought our Drinks out one by one and the final drink arrived 10 minutes after everyone else's. He misjudged the capacity of the specialty drink goblet, which then overflowed and went over the table and onto my sister-in-law dress. No apology, no offering of a rag to dry her dress or leg off, no cleaning up of the mess that was now on the floor. We could see him laughing and joking with other servers and tables, so maybe he just didn't want to wait on our table. By chance, another server came by and we asked to speak to a manager. In our initial 30 second interaction with us, the new server (DJ) showed tons of personality and a willingness to address our concerns. The manager graciously changed our server to DJ, which was the only reason we stayed. Otherwise we would have bounced. The manager did offer to get my sister-in-law's dress dry cleaned as well. The food was fair. The drinks were pretty good (though having to pay an additional $7 for the specialty goblet after you've paid $35 for the drink is a bit steep).
It was my and my sister’s first time at Sugar Factory and we loved it! We would be happy to go again and bring family/friends.
We were seated in the front room away from the action and decor. It is quieter there, so depending on your preference for noise you may want to sit there.
We had a good experience tonight for my daughter’s birthday. Our server was really pleasant and helpful. Thank you!
Horrible food, Chairs were dirty. We waited around 20 minutes that somebody took empty plates.
Very expensive food was horrible, steak was so cold the butter did not melt on it. Food came out on top of appetizaers. My son lost his truck under the booth souse went to grab it and was cut by glass. Server was really nice but seemed to have to many tables as it took a long time to poor our specialty frittata the table. We never saw a manager. Horrible experience especially since it cost us over $400 we felt really cheated.
I would only recommend to experience it once. We waited 20 minutes before anyone came to our table because they said they were in the middle of a shift change. Prices are expensive and the place is so loud you can’t have a conversation.
Very pricy for what is served. Small portions of food and drinks. Will not return.
Our reservations got messed up so some of my birthday guests had to sit away from us which i feel is rude and we tried to move to a bigger spot and was told we could not because it was for someone else. We didnt get asked if we wanted any drinks just put water on the table. The only thing good about my experience for my birthday was the food was good other than that I had a horrible birthday here.
Overpriced, underwhelming food. Wouldn’t go back.
No liquor in the Goblets. The drink was headache sweet.
Great atmosphere. Celebrated my 50th birthday, along with 4 others. Had an awesome time and will definitely return and get hotel in area to enjoy entire area. Lots to offer!!
Nothing more than an overpriced formal diner. Drinks are neat but overpriced. All drinks came out one at a time, not together, which we could not do a toast. One of the four meals we got were cold, which happened to be the birthday celebrants.
Spent way too much money there and will not be back.
The food was okay. The drinks are over priced and not really worth for the service. The bathrooms are disgusting for the overall experience. This place asks for too much money for what it’s really worth. I prefer The Cheesecake Factory over this anytime!
