SUCCOTASH is named after the classic dish that has been a longstanding staple of the Southern table. While many know “Succotash” when they see it, the dish has been interpreted, modified and passed from generation to generation for centuries. While Succotash between families will share similarities, each family’s recipe is deeply personal and reminiscent of those special suppers that brings kin together. Our “Succotash” is special to us and we invite you to experience the South from our point of view.

The quality of the food has downgraded in the past 3 years. The cornbread was originally served in a cast iron pan, but now is served in a smaller square version. The French toast used to be hefty pieces of bread but now has reduced to 2 inch slices.

Succotash never disappoints! We have been there numerous times over the years and always look forward to going again whenever we are in town. We always make reservations in advance because they are so busy and popular, but even when they are solidly booked, they try to work out a way to accommodate you with bar seating. We have noticed that when they simply HAVE to turn someone away, it done with sincere apology and kindness. Kindness is their trademark and quality is their brand. We can’t wait to get back again! Everything on the menu exceeds excellent! Make sure to try the pork ribs and the collards!

They were quite busy, and the great food is the reason. The staff were lovely, gracious and friendly and really seemed to care that we were having a good time and enjoying the food. The food was excellent! The corn bread was out of this world! Mac n cheese had a lovely browned crust on top. The dirty rice was delicious. Salmon was cooked beautifully. The cocktails were delicious— particularly the Garden Mule alcohol free.

Delicious! We got the family taste menu and it really was great to try a bit of everything. Can’t said to go back! Great date night with my husband.

This was my first time at this location and I would definitely return for other dining experiences. I enjoyed the French Toast (my favorite breakfast food) very filling. The tater tots were also good as well. And the smoked wings that my Bestfriend had were AMAZING!!
