Absolutely amazing. 10/10. There are no words to describe the dry-aged New York Strip.
Marcel was fantastic and all food was prepared perfectly
All good. Great steak.
Char siu Bacon appetizer was amazing!
Steaks are done to perfection. We came early, quiet night, service was attentive and super professional. Timing of dishes also done well.
Food and staff were on point! Pricey, but an excellent experience.
Service was excellent, food was ok. Can get better food for less money elsewhere.
Food was ok for price
Great service and great food!
NYE Dinner was awesome chocolate cake 🎉
Fabulous! Steak was divine!
Food was absolutely delicious. You have to get the Strip House Potatoes as a side - they are so good. The wine list is a little on the pricier side but there are still a couple of good picks that are affordable.
I totally understand how the restaurant can be short staffed due to Covid but the service was horrible. The food was horrible
The manager said they borrows Chef from another location due to shortage. I’m assuming that’s why my steak was poorly cooked.
A perfect meal! Everything from the innovative cocktail to our dinner was wonderful. Alyssa was charming and most helpful throughout the meal without being overbearing.
Great food. Great service. Perfect for special occasions!
Go on a Monday night! Great service, very quiet. Same yummy food. The salt/pepper crust on the filet is the best I've ever had.
This place is my go to -- but they really let me down:
Walked in: no one there to greet and seat, we stood like donuts for 20 minutes.
Bar: had to clean the mess in front of me myself. Wife got her drink, I waited 15 after that to get mine (a simple martini).
Dinner: Food came out totally cold. French fries? Cold. Steak? Cold. Mushrooms? Cold. We sent it back -- and waited an hour for it to come again. The fries were hot (yay!) -- but the steak, cold.
It was sad. This is my favorite steak place in the city. Will skip midtown and go to West Village location only.
I don’t think the value is there. The steak isn’t prime (otherwise they would say it is on the menu like other restaurants), but it’s still good, just doesn’t warrant the prices then there are alternatives in the city. I would recommend the restaurant on 12th St over the one on 44th St without hesitation.
While the sides were delicious, the steak was just ok. Came out warm at best. Would expect the steak to be the highlight at a steak house. They also forgot to put in an item we ordered.
The tables were so close together, our chairs were continuously bumped into and all you can hear are other people’s loud conversations. I also had ordered a Manhattan on the rocks, was given whiskey on the rocks, and was still charged for 2 drinks after I got a new one to replace the mistake the waitress said the bartender admitted to. Food was great as always but overall not a great experience.
Strip House DOWNTOWN is my absolute favorite steakhouse, but I was underwhelmed by my visit to Strip House Midtown. The service was great (waiter and bartender), the drinks were great, and the food was mostly very good, but the overall experience definitely was not up to the standard of the Downtown location. The two double porterhouse steaks we ordered were excellent, but the filet we ordered was not cooked properly and they changed the recipe for their previously-outstanding goose fat potatoes to serving them roasted whole, which was seriously disappointing. Also, aside from the mushrooms, I thought the sides were disappointing compared to how I've had the before. Also, the space just isn't as inviting as the downtown location and it is REALLY loud. I still love Strip House, but I won't go back to the midtown location.
Would have given 5 stars for everything however with lamb chops no longer on the menu I was disappointed
We’ve been celebrating our wins and anniversary for a few years now and it’s the first time we booked a reservation during a holiday season. Needless to say, it is far more packed than usual. I’m very thankful to the 2 hostesses who allowed us to move up our original reservation from 9pm to 7:45pm. Unfortunately, we weren’t seated until around 8:20-8:30pm due to parties that were lounging on their seats even after they paid. A lot of the parties even prior to us were seated on or over an hour past their actual reserved time.
This isn’t the hostesses fault at all. Some customers/people just needs to be more respectful or at the very least has self awareness of how packed and busy the place is.
The team who helped us make our dinner experience still wonderful are the real MVPs. We know how stressful it can get especially if its something out of your control. You all did an amazing job attending to all of us who were waiting to be seated even after receiving a lot of follow-ups and some complaints. Thank you for helping all of us.
Food is still perfect ❤️
The food was amazing and the decor is nice. The hostess was very accommodating and our server Alyssa was amazing and gave us the best service and recommendations. My husband believes he had the best bacon in his life here!
The worst steak I had in New York.
Warm ambiance, fantastic food with excellent service. Everything a NY steakhouse should be.
Amazing experience on a busy Friday evening in NYC in December. Very convenioent location to Rockefeller Center and Time Square. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the service team was on point, the food was spectacular. We had a large group of 10 guests... everyone in our party raved about the food and service the whole weekend. We dined at Strip House in NYC during Army-Navy game weekend, SantaCon, and the holiday season when it was very busy, yet they still managed to make us feel like we were special. Thank you Strip House Midtown - we appreciate it very much and look forward to returning!!
I always enjoy dining at this restaurant. Food and ambience are excellent. Serice was a little slower then usual maybe because the place was packed, but the crew and I had a great time.
Over an hour wait to get a table although we had reservations
Steak was delicious. Nice char. Tuna tartar very fresh.
My steak was tough. Incredibly, ridiculously, overpriced wine list. Service was slow. Would not go back.
Bit disappointed really. Had booked a table for two for dinner, took nearly two hours for the main course to be delivered and then the steak was luke warm and the veg was cold.
Fantastic food and service. I will be back!
The tiny table we were seated at was pathetic- even with a reservation. Service was rushed and unprofessional. Tuna appetizer was extremely small and not shareable as we were told by our server. Maybe because we were two women at a steakhouse? Not worth the money.
Food was outstanding get there filet and the Mac and cheese - our waiter was fantastic as well
Waiter was the best!
absolutely loved the service & the steak. my boyfriend and i both got filet mignons with the potato gratin and asparagus. 10/10. however for the apps, mildly disappointed! the crab cake was very fishy, hard to eat. oysters were good but extremely small. tuna was good. wedge salad, dressing comes on side would have preferred actual blue cheese crumbles on the salad.
Spent thanksgiving with StripHouse … second time there, we live out of town. Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. Service is on point, quick without being pushy and just top notch. Food is outstanding. Can’t wait to be back.
