Strip House used to be one of my most favorite places to visit while in Las Vegas and NY but they have been slipping at the one in LV. Our server was great, very attentive. The dry aged ribeye was a bit over cooked but great dry aged flavor that I love. The part that upset me the most is the wine. I got a suggestion from our server and he pointed to a price of $80 per bottle but when I got my bill is was $125 per bottle. I couldn’t find my server so I asked a man in a suite and tie if he could let me know what the price was on this certain bottle of wine. With no communication he walked off so I followed him assuming he was going to grab a menu, which he did. He was clearly annoyed that I was questioning. While he was looking, I read off the name on the bottle of wine to him and I said “That’s the correct name, right?” In a super snotty tone he said “Man, I don’t know what wine you drank.” I figured it was simply a mistake of our server pointing to the wrong price and I wasn’t going to ask for a discount if he made the mistake. I still didn’t ask for a discount even though this manager, I believe his name was Chris, was super rude to me and treated a patron with a $850 bill like garbage.
When making this reservation I was contemplating between the Strip House or Mastro’s. I wish I had and from now on will go to Mastro’s.
A very good meal. Aged Prime Rib was excellently done to order. The Rye Chai cocktail was excellent and device was on point.
Excellent meal and great service! Thanks for making my birthday celebration special.
Great service. Steaks were perfectly cooked. A little hard to find in the Planet Hollywood casino but definitely worth the effort. Two days later and I’m still thinking about the steak seasoning and preparation.
The servicer was incredible and the food was amazing! Everything came out quickly, and Scott our server was very helpful with drink and food recommendations.
Amazing good . Excellent service . They treat you like your gold . Thank you . I’ll be back AGAIN
Service was fantastic. Carlos took great care of us. Steak was a bit undercooked but their version of medium might be a bit different. Steak was very flavourful. Sides were delicious. A bit loud so if you are on a date and want to talk more quietly than look elsewhere. My only negative is that they have a lot of pictures on the wall, but it is too dark to see.
Go have fun, eat great steak.
Food and service was excellent! Definitely would return!
Just went for late dessert. The baked Alaska was incredible as well as the banana tart. Waitress seemed a bit perturbed we were just there for dessert.
This restaurant wasn’t a first choice but I’m glad I chose to dine there. It was Valentine’s Day which also happens to be my fiancé’s birthday. We were vacationing from New York and he wanted steak. We ended up at the Strip House because it was the only steakhouse that accommodated our last minute reservation for the time slot we needed. It was a good stumble for us because it met our expectations. The food was great. The steaks were cooked to our liking. When we arrived, the restaurant was not filled but as it became crowded the noise level stayed the same. This was a plus for me because I speak low and not one time did my fiancé say he couldn’t hear me. The music was great and we loved the decor. The service was excellent! Daniel our server was extremely knowledgeable of the menu. He was attentive and friendly. The next time I’m back in Vegas the Strip House will be on the agenda.
Way over priced.. they called the mashed potatoes pureed lol. Brought out fries that were soggy. Took forever to get our food. We were not offered another drink. Our bill was $225. Should have been less than $100 at any other place. Food was OK.
When I order a steak from a "steak house", I expect it to be cooked properly. I order my filet medium and it came to the table very over cooked (gray throughout). I sent it back and they did not return with my meal for well over 20 minutes. My husband was already done eating so his food wouldn't get cold. The manager that came to my table acted like I was being ridiculous and was incredibly rude. He didn't apologize and said it took that long to cook. We paid for my husband's dish and salad. This was supposed to be a special dinner with my husband that I had been looking forward to all week. I left hungry and angry.
We only came for the famous chocolate cake so I decided to have the lamb chops as an alternative to steak. Best decision ever! The lamb was the best I have ever had and I even started gnawing at the bones to get every piece of meat possible. Our server was beyond professional and helpful. The chocolate cake we came for was everything we expected and more. We couldn’t even finish it because it was so big. We’ll definitely be back next time we come to Vegas.
Our waitress seemed annoyed with us through the dinner. Not attentive at all either. Drinks weren’t refilled, lobster AND steaks were overdone. Would not return. Super disappointed because I was really looking forward to a fabulous meal.
