Strip House - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We had a New York Strip and Ribeye - both cooked perfectly. The seasoning on the steaks is incredible and one of the best I’ve ever had. Sides were delicious; described as family style portions which I was sceptical about when delivered to the table but understood after tasting (very rich). Finished the meal with the 24 layer chocolate cake - definitely for sharing! Absolutely recommend to anybody looking for a great dining experience in Vegas.
Disappointed in food quality this time. Steaks crusted in pepper and waiter did not allow people to select.
Too much info from server...causes lack of clarity and confusion. More info should be on paper for customers.
Items far too expensive..5 asparagus spears for 15 dollars...not even good ones...very large and woody.
Very disappointed this time compared to a previous trip there. Will not go again.
It was great! Everything was wonderful. They took pictures for us and even when my boyfriend proposed to me they kept taking photos for us. It was in every way very special and romantic. After my boyfriend (or fiancée, I said yes of course) proposed the the manager came over and congratulated us and gave us some champagne. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful food. It was a little crowded for New Years Eve and the service was a little slow, but the food made up for it. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly, the lamb chops my sister ordered were heavenly. Best creamed spinach I ever had at a steakhouse and their au gratin potatoes were awesome, great dinner for NYE.
Pretty classic steak house. Nice decor. The steak was over peppered and I love pepper, could not finish it. The lobster mac and cheese was more like baked large tubes with lobster pieces on top. Way too rich and dense. We told the waiter we had high expectations for the price $30, and he never asked how we liked it. The best thing we ate was the calamari. Nicely done. For the price I round go elsewhere, Del Monico's or Craft steak are far superior.
Great, accurate steak preparation. On TWO visits, we ordered a well done filet mignon, a medium well strip steak, a medium bone in veal chop, and a medium rare filet mignon, among others. ALL were perfectly cooked. That could not have been better.
One note: i think all the steaks are pepper incrusted. If you don't like this, ask to leave it off. I love it this way! Truly a meat eaters paradise
Our waiters attitude was horrible. He treated us as if we didn't belong and he did not want to serve us. Very stuck up. Not friendly at all. It started when I didn't want to look at the wine list. Everyone doesn't drink wine. When asked about an item on the check he became immediately defensive. When he misunderstood our direction on taking one piece of chocolate cake to to go he was argumentative as he understood us to say we wanted one cake to go and one to eat now after telling us one slice was enough for two people. The cake was horrible. Dry and made with a very bitter dark chocolate. He ruined the entire dinning experience with his bad attitude. All their stakes are made with a blackened topping of black pepper and salt. It was too much seasoning. Stakes orderd medium well. One arrived well done. One medium. We ate them any way and tipped 25%. It was Christmas dinner and he ruined the entire experience. Will not recommend and will not return.
Excellent - everything from start to finish. We've tried other steak places in Las Vegas, and this is top of the list. Steaks were cooked just right and with great flavor. The sides, especially the mac & cheese, were excellent too and enough for at least 2 people.
We like to find a different steakhouse everywhere we travel. The staff was very friendly, and our waiter was absolutely attentive and knowledgeable. He gave fantastic recommendations. I ordered the bone in ribeye and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The pepper char was a great surprise and add to that the half garlic clove with each bite....it was perfect. My friends got the filet and it was cooked perfectly as well. The bone in ribeye had way better flavor but the filet was good as well. We all would highly recommend this place and will definitely go back when we get to Vegas again.
Why anyone would get a steak anywhere else in Vegas, or Nevada for that matter, is beyond me. I will be returning as often as possible for that meal. The salad, the steak, the sides, the wine, the service, all unbelievably beyond expectations. If you don't visit, you've missed out for sure! So worth it!!!
Our service was not very good for a business meal. Orders got messed up, and then we got charged for the mistakes and had to request them to remove it. The entire place went completely dark twice during our meal. We requested that the music be turned down just slightly so we could hear each other while talking and it was not accommodated. Management honored our tax exempt status only on food and would not removed the tax on the alcohol citing that Nevada never removes the tax on alcohol (which is not correct nor our experience the rest of the trip at other restaurants). The food, however, was delicious. The service was very lacking.
