Nice menu. Steak cooked as ordered. Manhattan cocktail made perfectly. Pop overs for bread before meal are awesome. Wedge salad among the best with their slab bacon vs others bits. Great meal tonight. Probably our 8th meal in a few years here. Just keep consistent.
Food was good - drinks were great - service was great! Got served an expired beer dating back 9 months, but it was remedied. We will try it again!
Very good experience- Walked in felt welcomed and got to our table immediately. Servers were right to our table and welcomed us- Also getting us drinks- Solid menu to choose from and our order came out pretty quick- Good portions and amazing quality- Definitely will be back to enjoy it once again.
we love Strega!!! I am not a steak person, but this is the absolute best piece of filet I have ever had!! That's why we keep coming back. Our server MIchael was awesome!!
Great meal / event for our 6 month anniversary. The Waygu steak for my wife was incredible. Wines by the glass, excellent. Price / value - appropriate considering the quality and service.
Host were very nice and my waitress Lucy was fantastic. I got some cocktails they were pretty good.
Yummy food and great atmosphere. Not rushed but not ignored ...just the right pace. Well seasoned staff.
Food was very good. Service was good. Quiet enough for a nice conversation. Sadly, we had a 7 pm reservation and did not get seated until 7:40. A little pricey - will only go there for special occasions
The food is excellent. They could stand to dim the lights and pump up the Bobby Darin on date night though.
Strega Prime was a big disappointment: understaffed and underprepared for Valentine's Day, underwhelming food and service. The ambiance was between an Applebee's and TGI Fridays with TVs blasting the Olympics or old movies ("Raging Bull" in our dining room!) and tons of customers waiting at the entrance to be called. After checking in, we waited 20 min at the bar before a waiter noticed us, apologized for the wait saying they were understaffed tonight (on Valentine's Day!!). Our 9pm reservation ended up in a 9:20pm seating. Small detail: fingertip prints on our knives. Not what we'd expect at a high-end restaurant. Our first waitress poured water all over the table in an attempt to reach over the table. We were informed that the advertised dinner-for-2 was no longer available! We tried to order quickly, and our appetizers didn't come in until 9:45pm. Don't order the lobster tail, it's overpriced and tiny (6 bites for $19). Our medium-rare steaks took about 30 min to arrive after our appetizers were bussed out (no idea why it takes so long for medium-rare). While we were warned not to touch the plates because they were supposedly "hot", the plates were at room temperature which caused the meat to become cold half-way through. The meat was of fine quality and cooked appropriately. But eating a cold $47 ribeye is a waste. The sides were fine (although those we wanted were no longer available). By the time our table was cleared, it was almost 10:45pm and we decided not to have dessert there. The evening being Valentine's Day, the staff was offering roses (1 per table) at check time. For some odd reason, my husband and I got two roses. We're not sure whether the staff didn't know what to do with a gay couple dining on Valentine's Day. It was just weird to get two roses. One, just like every other couple, would have been just fine. Conclusion of this unfortunate, wasteful evening: next time, we'll stick to Ruth's Chris were these kinds of missteps have never happened.
