Good food. Great service. A little loud and a little chilly when the door opened up to let customers into the restaurant. Fun, happy vibe. Ordered the pasta purses which were good, but just a little heavy, and the Chicken Shirley which had nice flavor, light and fresh, although the chicken was not that tender. I will definitely try this restaurant again. Staff seemed genuinely happy to serve and ensure enjoyment.

This is a small BYOB place tucked back off the main road. looks to be related to the pizza place next door. The ambiance is very good although next to the window it was a bit chilly and you had the scent of the half dozen oil candles burning. For appetizer we split a pasta special. It was large, very good and we thought rather inexpensive. We tried a chicken special and a veal dish. Both were good, but neither exceptional. The service needs some refining. Its mostly young and I think more geared for the pizza side than moderate to fine dining. Clearing unused glass and silver (2 sat at a table of 4), or following up between and after courses. Asking tap or bottled water is another example. It's a bit of a drive for us, we may try again. But its not on our "must return" list.

Dinner at Strega is always solid. The food is excellent. There are some standard dishes, some specialty dishes that you won't necessarily find at other Italian restaurants, and always a couple off menu items. The service is very good, as it is a relatively small place, but there are plenty of staff. A couple of the menu items are curiously expensive, but you really can't go wrong on flavor. Head waiter/maitre'd is extremely attentive and personable. He is also very knowledgeable about the dishes and the chef's current leaning.

We brought our foodie friends to experience Strega Bistro and they were not disappointed. From start to finish our meals were top notch, service thoughtful and ever present. No matter if you choose from the standard menu or opt for specials, the food is quality and portions are more than adequate. Bring your favorite wine and a good appetite and become a Strega bistro foodie.
