Everything was very good. Service was good and very attentive and food was delicious
We had a wonderful New Years Eve dinner! We were greeted warmly, the food was delicious and portions were large. The service was nicely paced even though it was a very busy evening. Would recommend.
New Year’s Eve
Some plates were great other not ao much. The crab cakes, hanger steak, veal parm, and pork chops were very good. The special with risotto not so much, risotto and steak were over cooked. The tortellini was OKish The molten cake had an OK flavor but was not a real molten/lava cake (no lava flowing from inside the cake. )
Delicious appetizers, salad and mains. Haven't been in years, will be making this restaurant a regular stop.
Our experience at Strega was fantastic, as usual! This was our first time back to in person dining at Strega since before the pandemic, and they didn't disappoint!! the warm goat cheese salad was wonderful to start. Our entrees included the seafood cioponno; seafood risotto; tortellini with shrimp and scallops; and the rigatoni Antonio special. All dishes were very flavorful, and the portions were plentiful. We will definitely return!!
Loved the Chicken Shirley! Our entire party of 4 enjoyed dinner.
Great local find! Really good food, love the BYOB
Delicious food, great service and warm quaint atmosphere. We will be sure to keep going back!
Food and service was great as usual!
We had a lovely evening with friends, and the food was yummy!
Food was delicious
Service, a little slow & could have been a bit more attentive (the restaurant was not crowded)
Food was too salty and service was poor. As with other reviews about the restaurant, I resent that you can not have free water . You must buy still or sparkling water. My wife and I wont be back.
Food is always good we requested tap water & when I checked my bill I was charged $6.00 for the water…. Not happy at all about this.
Food was just ok. Seafood risotto was Blane. Hanger steak was a bit tough and lacking flavor. Calamari was very good. Pizza as an appetizer was also good. Nice little place that need some attention. Cheese cake was hard not creamy… bit old. All good Food has got to be fresh or it affects the entire dinner and the reputation of the resturant. If it is old or stale throw it out and don’t serve it to your customers.
Homey little place with excellent food. Every dish was an explosion of flavors. Especially loved the mushroom soup. You won't be disappointed!
This ship-shape smallish establishment was recommended by a local and it didn’t disappoint. I found the menu to be well appointed and impressive. We started with a shared octopus appetizer that was adequately sized and delicious. Then on to my favorite entree, seafood risotto “Risotto Pescatore” and Seafood Cioppino for my guest. Everything was well executed and arrived at the proper temperature in a timely manner. The maître d’ was a interesting gentlemen and our server was attentively friendly. All and all, a pleasurable experience.
Food and service was great every time I have been there.
Food was reliably excellent.
Nice dinner. Delicious food. Didn’t like my knife being dropped off , literally off my plate after salad. Just take it away and give another thank you. Everything else was lovely. Food was perfect. Gnocchi was the lightest ever! Lamb was perfect and so was gelato dessert!
We loved our dinner at Strega. Will be back again soon!!
Strega is always reliable and delicious! It’s one of favorite restaurants .
A wonderful little restaurant for a great night out. BYOB and enjoy a broad selection of food many which can be served mild or spicy. The barrata was rich and creamy and the calamari was prepared like I’ve never seen before (peppers and sausage) and May rank among the best I’ve ever had. We stuck with seafood dishes and everything was fresh and delicious. Plenty for a doggie bag for lunch the next day.
Inside is on the smaller side but we’ll appointed. We sat outside and though there is a parking lot there they have erected a very well designed barrier that keeps out the light and noise to the point where you forget you’re in a strip mall. Strega is worth the trip.
It was our first time at this restaurant and we loved it. The food and service were excellent. We will definitely be back!
Unfortunately, they were understaffed, so we had to wait two hours to get our meal. While the food was tasty, the service was sub-par.
Always excellent food and service
Food was excellent and service was excellent!! Would definitely go back and recommend to family and friends!!
Great food! Short rib and seafood risotto entrees were delicious. Definitely will go back!
Dined here last Friday night with my friend. We really enjoyed everything we ate and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back!
This is the 2nd time we have eaten at Strega and have enjoyed it very much. The food is excellent (love the Calamari). Service, Ambiance and overall dining experience was great. The only thing I noticed (as it was a crowded evening), the noise level is a bit high, but not a damper. I would definitely recommend Strega and we will be back!
Went to Strega for Restaurant Month. What terrific value. The food was delicious, wait staff was very attentive and the ambiance was friendly. The whole menu is very creative and we hope to return soon.
Strega was fantastic!! Two of us started with the mussels and slurped up every bit of sauce, a fellow diner had the calamari, a HUGE portion, incorporating sweet sausage and your choice of sweet or hot peppers. Again, two of us had the seafood risotto, delightful. The gentlemen ordered the short rib done in Barolo wine and the pork ragu over homemade pasta, very satisfying, excellent flavor. Although dessert was included in the prix fix, no one could finish it. If I had to say one negative thing, it was that dessert was OK but not as amazing as the meal. I would definately go back to Strega and highly recommend you make a reservation and try it.
Total enjoyment and great cost benefit.
Times are tough for all restaurants having to deal with staff shortage.
Let’s be patient
The food was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous. Service was slow. Wonderful for a very leisurely dinner. I would definitely say go.
Authentic Italian food. Salad, home made pasta, pork chops are all outstanding. This is our new go to restaurant!
We had a wonderful dinner with an old friend. The staff were attentive but gave us plenty of time to enjoy dinner and also get caught up with our friend that we hadn't seen in a few months. Overall a wonderful experience. We all enjoyed our meals also.
The restaurant special of 3 courses for $39.00 was an excellent value and portions were ample.
