I went to Stoney River on 9/7/19. I arrived with my sister around 6:45 PM. I was told there would be a 45 minute to an hour wait. I expected the wait. That was not a problem. When we were seated, there were three people from the wait staff who came. One was stating that someone would be there shortly. The next person took our drink orders. The first person came back because the ticket wasn't turned to indicate the order had been taken. Then our actual waitress, Annaleigh came. She was very pleasant. My sister asked about a drink and decided to order it along with our appetizer. I needed a minute to make my final decision. When she came back she took our order I told her it was extremely cold. She said they get lots of complaints about how cold it is. When our entree came out, I was already finished with my tea. I didn't get a refill until I got my check. My sister began to eat her salmon. It was good at first, but when she got to the middle, it was too rare for her to eat. She didn't send it back. I asked my sister about the cocktail that she ordered when we ordered our appetizer. We were almost finished eating and she still had not received it. When Annaleigh came back to the table, my sister asked her about it. She said she would check on it. When were finished eating, she finally comes back with the cocktail. At this point, my sister told her she didn't want it. She took it off the ticket. This was our first time at Stoney River. We were both looking forward to it because we had heard great things. I knew the dinner would be rather expensive, and I expected above average service. I'm extremely disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone. The price did not match the service. Check #1220, Table 74/3, Trans time 8:43.

Excellent service by Lauren. Food was awesome. Every item was fresh , huge quantity and tasty. They brought slice of cake to recognize friend's birthday. We had a great evening.

Stoney River is a great place for lunch or dinner. It’s near my home and I dine there quite frequently. The food is fabulous and the menu is diverse enough that you won’t get tired of it. While the steaks are high quality and delicious, I often lean toward a seafood dish. My favorite seafood entree is the sea bass prepared in a ginger soy sauce with sautéed spinach. The tuna and trout are also delectable. The fried shrimp are very large and the portion is large. My relative loves the coffee cured filet mignon. Best appetizers include steak rolls (like philly cheese steak in an egg roll) and lobster bisque. I can’t go without also mentioning the Bistro Chicken and meatloaf, both of which are delicious and will provide you with leftovers enough for a second meal. The restaurant doesn’t mind substituting sides or preparation modifications. Sometimes I like the casual atmosphere and dining in the bar. On top of all this is the great service provided by Landon. He waits tables, but lately has more often been one of the bartenders, prompting me to opt for bar dining. He knows his customers and remembers little things like the cup of ice I like to get after my martini has gotten less chilled. He watches carefully and attends to his customers as their tea glass needs refilling, etc. Other great servers I’ve experienced are Sondra, Allie, Logan and Patrick. Give it a try if you haven’t yet.

This is not our first visit and definitely not our last. The hostess greeted us with a smile and continued a welcoming attitude when she seated us, timely. Our food was superb as usually and the price was not too expensive for the quality and quantity of good we received. Outstanding!!

The last time I visited Stoney River, there was a smell of sour towels. We were seated close to the kitchen, so we just wrote it off as a bad day. I was there yesterday and it was worse. It smells like the restaurant has been mopped by old water or the tables have been cleaned with sour towels. It was very unpleasant. My guest smelled it as well. I've been in bars that smelled like that and I really didn't expect that from Stoney River. The service and food were great, but the smell was really bad.

Wonderful dinner. Server was hard to track down at times but the restaurant was full. Also it is WAY too loud in the restaurant side. I think they would benefit from adding some noise cancelling material so that it is not so loud in the dining room. It was hard to hear the person next to you talking.

My boyfriend and I frequently visit Stoney River and always sit with Colby (he is literally amazing)! We were very nervous when we called to make a reservation and found out that Colby wasn’t working. We ended up dining with another server, Matt. We were blown away. Matt was very attentive and friendly! We loved our whole experience! The culture at Stoney River is unmatched!

Waitress was very rude and hurried. We only ordered appetizers and drinks. She sighed at our little order as it wasn’t so $$$. Asked for appetizers first then bring the side orders. She didn’t like the request. And then she brought everything at once. Food was cold by the time we finished the appetizers. Never again.

Our server Lauren did an outstanding job! Our Halibut special was delicious with the added shrimp. Lauren made our birthday celebration an awesome experience! Very knowledgeable about menu and drinks and had great suggestions!! Lauren was so sweet and attentive, asset to Stoneys team! Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner experience!

It was SO cold at our table. The air vent blew on us and even caused the candle to flicker. Very loud right next to kitchen. Food was very good as usual.

The Halibut special was fantastic but my wife Bistro Chicken, which is her favorite dish at Stoney River was very disappointing! Everyone else in the party had a great meal! We will try again soon. Kevin

It’s one of those places where the food is good but that’s all you will get, because the word “corporate” is used as an excuse for everything that either does not go well or requires making a customer service decision. Either the staff is not properly trained or they are scared to death of their management. I’m talking basic things like how to handle reservations or a food order mistakenly placed by the costumer, or a food ordered that was delivered to the table incomplete or having a vegetarian option that was not just the boring and old-fashioned salad; things that happen on a daily basis in any restaurant. Anyway, you might have a better experience than me but it was my first time there and it left me with a bad taste. Not caused by the food, though: the crispy chicken salad I had was delicious, the portion perfect, it was fresh, and the chicken was crunchy, juicy and well seasoned. A pity since it’s the first time ever that I consider not returning to a place based on their artificial hospitality.

Could not work table for 7. Ran out of biscuits and garlic mashed potatoes...saw a plate of biscuits delivered to another table after server said they were out. Server tried to down sell a wine he preferred over what I ordered (Hall Cabernet). Valet came in and said they were leaving early and dropped keys on my table and said Incould get my own car. Extremely long to eat. All in a very bad experience and embarrassing for me and my guests

We had such a fantastic time here! Our food was incredible, the carrot cake was HUGE! Most importantly, our server, Sully, was the best I’ve ever had!! He was so friendly, attentive, conversational, professional, and charming! We will absolutely be back!
