The experience was absolutely the best. Amani was our server, and she provided the absolute best service. The experience began at the reservation station. The young lady lead us to a table, and we told her we preferred a booth. She went and cleared an empty booth for us near the window. She even wished me Happy Birthday on the way in and the way out. What an experience!

Selected Stoney River for first date night after baby hoping for a quiet early meal. Service was amazing we started our meal with A bottle of Frog Leap merlot very good bottle ,main entrees were delicious however restaurant was very loud for an early meal, the appetizer (Steak rolls) weren’t that great (meat was to chewy) husband loved them though, steaks were cooked perfectly mashed potatoes complimented my steak however husband said the au gratin he had lacked flavor but the button mushrooms made up for it. To end our night we decided to take home the Creme brûlée’ and enjoy a slice of the chocolate fudge cake together before leaving. I don’t recommend taking home the creme brûlée and neither of us would recommend the chocolate fudge cake, the slice is to large and to heavy to truly enjoy after a heavy meal of steak and potatoes. Overall experience was great we will definitely be going back for steak and the bread rolls with the honey butter!

Stoney River is a favorite restaurant for me when friends come to town. My friend flew in from South Carolina for the weekend and has not quit talking about the starter-whiskey shrimp! Wants to come back again when she comes back to Atlanta.

The food was awesome; the service was great once we were seated. There was a glitch in the reservations with Open Table and the site, so there were overlapping reservations. The crowd was crazy on Father's Day! However, we had a great time once seated.

Horrible. Was seated after 45 minutes after reservations. Waited an hour and 15 minutes no food. They blamed the Open Table. They offered to comp a portion of my meal which is great but never got food. The place has turned extremely ghetto! Go someplace else.

Our Father’s Day reservation was for 5pm at the Cumberland Mall location. We arrived at 4:30pm and checked in to find the lobby and entrance packed. Once I gave my name and the number in our party the hostess who was not customer friendly stated the the reservation was only for 2 people and a call should have been made for have 8 people in our party. I stated that the request was made in the area where it asked for SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS and no where did it state a call had to be made. This hostess a little short young girl with her hair up in a bun gave a curt response that our wait would be 30 minutes. Well 45 minutes passed and we still hadn’t been seated after another hostess stated @25 minutes prior that a party was leaving and we’d be seated as soon as the table was cleared. We were finally able to speak with one of the managers and were finally given a table to accommodate our party. While waiting n the lobby there were several excuses given for the backup from the restaurant being behind in seating patrons, the reservation system being hacked and a system glitch that double booked some reservations. Not of these responses could be justified especially when you’re not expecting to be seated as a walk-in on a day life Father’s Day! We a wonderful waitress, a young lady originally from CA. She provided excellent service and was very attentive to our needs. She helped to ease some of the unnecessary frustration experienced during the arrival to restaurant. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal as well as the dessert (my husband came for the carrot cake)! Needless to say we’ve decided that Stoney River will not be at the top of our restaurant choices in the future. Guests shouldn’t have to encounter a hostess with a poor attitude and “flip lip” and then have to spend money in that restaurant.

Service was not up to par on Father’s Day. Server was new or poorly trained. We ate there on Mother’s Day and service was outstanding!! On FD the server was helped by others, however, she looked overwhelmed! We did not complain because the overall service was adequate! I guess we were spoiled by the MD service experience!!

Celebrated Fathers Day. It was very crowded. We were told it would be 15-20 minutes before we were seated. Not sure how many others waiting had reservations, but I was surprised to have to wait with a reservation. Due to the large crowd, the lobby area was quite warm. Despite these things, the service was great and the food was excellent. One of my favorite steakhouses in Atlanta.

I'm a frequent visitor at Stoney River but my last visit was so disappointing. I was there on Father's Day and my dinner was served while I was sitting at a picnic table in the middle of the dining room covered by a table cloth. My drink was served in a styrofoam cup. My steak was dry and didnt see my waitress again until the meal was over.

It was quite busy with it being Father's Day but they worked the crowd and got people seated as soon as possible. We of course had reservations and checked in 30 minutes prior. The food was excellent, the steak rolls, the bread. The tea wasn't sweet enough for my hubby, but he added some sweetener. Our waitress was on point in refilling his tea and waters. Another waitress came by and realized we had finished and cleared our plates. Teamwork.

My family and I really enjoy Stoney River. The only negative I have is that we still waiting 30 minutes after our reservation time of 1:30. It was Father’s Day so naturally they were really busy, hence why I made a reservation. They continued to seat walk ins while we waited.

My daughters and I took my husband to Stoney River for Father's Day. We had a reservation, so we were seated within 5 minutes and were waited on promptly. The food was great, the atmosphere was great, the service was great! Each time I've visited, I have had a great experience. I look forward to our next visit.

We went here to celebrate our anniversary and had an amazing time! The service was exceptional and food was amazing. Literally, everything they brought to our table was the best I had eaten in a while. The mac and cheese 🔥🔥🔥 ( and I don't eat everyone's mac and cheese)... the steak 🔥🔥🔥!!! My wife tried their margherita mixed with a peach bellini and she said it was the best margherita she ever had! Definitely on our top ten list of restaurants!!!
