Drinks/bar good, but food service really, really slow…

Arrived for a 7:45 table, drinks arrived promptly. Dinner order taken at 8.00. Cold start – hummus – turned up 30 minutes later! Bit of a wait for a cold starter, not to problematic, but should have read the signs.
Main course turns up another 40 minutes later… The reason given was “that they had a number of big tables in” – interestingly that arrived after we had sat down! Needless to say, not that impressed, if the restaurant can’t do the covers don’t take the booking!!

Delicious food, nice ambience. Everything was spot on. The fries in the poutine were the best ever! Every single dish was excellent. We would definitely go back.

Sadly very average food, for greater than average prices. Best avoid, better options in whistler.

We were only able to get an early reservation for New Year’s Eve. The staff was great in combining our multiple reservations into one so we could sit together. Food was good, but not too varied. They did have a kids menu.

We dined here on Christmas Day - they had a turkey dinner as the special - tasted very good. This restaurant is fairly casual and the food was in comfort food style - we enjoyed it

Our server was great but the other staff assisting him were not. Also, they charged the wrong amount than was listed on the menus. Although they apologized and fixed it, it took quite a long time.
Food was good, we went for happy hour which was quite good value but the regular menu is a touch pricier, though more or less in line for Whistler village.

We had a horrible experience here from the moment we walked in. The hostess didn’t even look up when we arrived to check in for our reservation. She finally acknowledged us 5 minutes after our arrival. Prior to that there was no word of greeting, no smile, no eye contact. The music was so loud that everyone in the place was yelling just to be heard above the noise. Consequently, it was impossible for the 3 of us to have a conversation. Our waitress gave us the menu & disappeared without taking our drink order. My husband had to go up to the bar to order from the bartender who was the only waitstaff to treat us properly. We wont be back!

Great food and fast service. Found the food doesnt fit the decor. Class it up a bit and get rid of the paper menu and this place could do great things. Loved the bacon jam benny :))

Great place for brunch and veggie burger was delicious. The eggs benedict that we ordered was better then my expectations and a great value! The atmosphere is super cute. Service could be a bit improved. Took our drink order and took a little while to get our food order in. I would recommend this place!

Service and food was great. My bison came out cold but even cold it was still good. I did end up sending it back to the kitchen and they fixed me up another one right away. Even more delicious! I'll be coming back and recommending this place to friends.

I made a reservation in advance to try this place for the first time. It took few minutes to get seated. They did not have a reserved sign on our table. It wasn’t that busy & we waited at least 20minutes to order. Neither did they bring water nor took our order so we left.

Walked in to a smiling host, brought us straight to our reserved table. The atmosphere was loud and upbeat in a good way. The service was brilliant and the food was much better than we anticipated. The only downfall is the bathroom is outside of the restaurant and was in very bad shape.

I recently ate at Stonesedge Kitchen to celebrate my friend's birthday. I picked this restaurant based on the reviews, and I felt completely deceived by them. The food and service were disappointing. The food was disgusting and inedible. Service was extremely slow despite a half empty restaurant. Furthermore they also failed to honor the Yelp discount. Stonesedge is a waste of time and money don't go here if you're in Whistler.

We were a group of 5 booked in for 9pm on a Saturday night. We still can't figure out what it was that they called chicken. It looked like chicken but had the texture of rubber and zero flavour. It was really bizarre. Six of us tried it and all of us thought it was awful. Another dish had under cooked fingerling potatoes. We were polite and our server was polite and accommodating, and we respected her for that, and then one of our group came up behind her at the till and heard her complaining about us to a colleague. It was unprofessional. The pork belly and the scallops were good (perhaps lacking a little acidity) but if I ever go again that's what I'll have--I probably won't go again though. The restaurant refunded the chicken dish and offered an alternative. They only discounted the dish with the potatoes because the diner ate the rest of it--but the complete meal was ruined by the lack of potatoes. It all left a bit of a bad taste in our mouths literally and figuratively.

The overall ambience of restaurant is good and comfortable. My husband and i started with the charcuterie plate. There wasn't enough variety on it, two types of cheese and two types of meat. We ordered the bison short rib and market cut of the day(porkchop). The bison short rib was tender and tasty but the porkchop was average and the accompanying vegetables were salty. I think for the price we paid there are better restaurants in whistler.

Make sure you take some cash with you. The debit terminals have a tendency to not comply with card purchases, and that's coming directly from the server. Then you'll be told it's not their machines it's your cards - quite rudely might I add. Anyways. the food was amazing regardless.

Service was horrendous despite the abundance of serving staff (more staff than patrons). Twice we were served food that was not ours. The food was terrible. My daughter ordered the kids' steak and fries. The steak was so tough it was inedible. I ordered the veggie burger. It was tasteless and the bun somehow managed to be both dry and gummy. I also ordered a tequila cocktail from their specialty drinks list. I don't think there was any tequila in my $14 cocktail. This was by far our worst meal in Whistler.

Very disappointing dinner. Normally the open table reviews lead me to wonderful restaurants. This time we were very disappointed. The meatball appetizer was overlooked and dry and hard. The bread had been cut and then heated in the oven way too long and was served dry without butter, olive oil, etc. the salmon was passable. All in all not a place I would return ever again. Perhaps it was an off night for the chef. Other people's reviews were fine so perhaps we just pulled the short straw tonight...

This place is pretty great. The value is exceptional especially when compared to the other places around the village. We had a great view of one of the peaks as we sipped sparkling wine and ate some tastey food. The service was excellent and patient (we were a bit indecisive). I recommend checking this place out for a twilight patio visit.
