   Second visit to stones and it was just as good as the first. Friendly knowledgeable staff. The coconut flavoured broth with the fish main was so good, would have had a bowl on its own. Will definitely return. Highly recommend this little gem in Matlock.

   We treat ourselves to an evening meal here two or three times a year. Doesn't seem to matter what you choose from the menu it's always delicious.

   This jem of a restaurant is down a steep flight of stone steps, but totally worth the effort. The staff are extremely helpful and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. The format of the meal is perfect with detailed menus, to tempt ones pallet The restsurant caters for all levels of taste. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to eat special food in superb surrounding, which overlook the river.
