Second time to Stones - and it now officially is my favorite place to get a drink and dinner in Wenatchee. Great beer and whiskey selection. The lamb meatball pasta dish, with the simple house salad made for a fantastic meal, at a fair price with good service. The lady next to me had one of their burgers and it looked delicious (and it was enormous). That's what I'm getting next time!
Nice and simple and delicious.
Brand new server. It ended up being about a 3 hour ordeal. I think she forgot about us and didn’t take our order forever. Didn’t ask if she was willing to comp anything to make up for it. She put an alcoholic drink in front of a minor even after we told her that was incorrect. Wasn’t focused and looked overwhelmed.
Excellent food, extensive wine and bourbon list, good service, pleasant music background, first choice place to meet a friend or take a date
We were only in Wenatchee for a few nights and luckily decided to have dinner here one of the days. The food was really excellent and the beer that I had was also excellent. Definitely recommended!
Invited a friend to meet there, she'd never been to Stone's & I had only been twice. We had a delicious dinner with very good service and a comfortable environment. I will be back.
Wonderful gathering place. This was our second visit and it did not disappoint.
We have come to enjoy the Gastropub for its consistent good food and are so glad to see it flourish in the downtown area.
Fun place with adventurous food and great drinks!!
The menu is seasonal and innovative. The only complaint is that I wish they would serve the food hot. Many times it is just barely warm.
We love this place. The Bison Burgers are amazing! Everything else too!
Good prices too on food and drinks!
This restaurant was a great surprise and absolutely wonderful. The Bison Burgers were delicious! Cant wait to go back!
Great food, ambiance, and decor. Enjoyed the experience and would definitely go again.
We met our nephew and his wife there before a show. Service was a little slow, but friendly. The food was great. Wine and beer were good.
Lovely! Our server was chipper and knowledgeable and the food was great.
Stones is a hidden gem. I think it has a pretty good following in Wenatchee, but is not well known by folks in Leavenworth and West side of state. Thoughtful and creative menu options, attentive service and a great beer & wine list complemented with professionally-crafted cocktails.
The owner is often present and takes care to make sure guests are having a great experience. We were especially impressed that he noticed our bottle of wine was corked -- even when we weren't sure -- and immediately replaced it with a new bottle.
Stones is worth driving in from the surrounding areas for. It's definitely in our restaurant rotation now --we will be back with friends!
Great food
In the name of all that's holy: TRY THE BACON JAM. I'm going to have my casket stuffed with it.
If you know any nihilists, get them to try the "dirty fries". They'll be absentmindedly whistling show-tunes in 5 minutes.
What a gem. The head chef is a genius.
Today, I was seduced by a salad.
I had just gotten into a big fight with my parents. I was taking a lonely walk on the beach to clear my head. The air was an autumn morning chill but the sun made my bare shoulders warm to the touch.
I saw a plated course a little ways down the sand and didn't think much of it. Then when I got closer I realized it was a Tomato and Burrata Salad. Not really being much of a salad person and preferring my tomatoes cooked, I kept my head down and intended to walk past.
When I neared the plate, for some reason I looked up. The Tomato and Burrata Salad caught my eye, mischievously. I couldn't look away. It said "Have you been enjoying a lot of rich complex flavor profiles lately?" I had, of course. I said so. "Maybe what you need is a simple classic dish prepared expertly," the salad cooed. "Maybe you'd be able to relax better if you stopped trying to challenge and expand your palate at every meal. Maybe you need some basic tastes served with laser precision. It might even increase your appreciation of the heavy spicy dishes you so enjoy."
On another day, I might have kept walking, or gotten pork chops. But today something inside me inspired a rash move. Plus, there was something in the salad's eye. A certain twinkle that hinted at primordial satiation.
So I gave in, and brother, I'll never look back. A tomato and mozzarella salad only has a few ingredients with not much wiggle room for creativity lest it become something else. The fresh made basil dressing and the perfect amount of salt and a delicious piece of burrata along with the ripe tomatoes made each simple ingredient sing symphonies. It was like The Beatles; bringing out the brilliance in each other.
I'm moving to a compound with Tomato and Burrata Salad next month. I'm not supposed to talk to my family anymore, but they never understood me anyway. Me and the other foodies will await The Foodening together. Also, I might have to shoot Gerald Ford, but I'm happy at last.
I dreaded moving back to Wenatchee and same dull overrated restaurants. Thank god Stones appeared. I eat there twice a week. It's fantastic. By far the best food in the valley.
Leuk en gezellig restaurant met plezierige inrichting en vriendelijk personeel. Goed eten.
Very good food with excellent services. The beets salad is excellent with fresh ingredients. The mushroom flat bread taste very good with very fresh bread, the edge is crisp and middle soft. The mushroom and cheese mixing really well and taste good. The spicy curry short rib cocked perfectly, tender and moist.
Ordered a drink, the lime was old, browned edges...server, bartender should have been aware, or perhaps they were and didn't care
I brought my husband and another couple to dinner. None had been there but me. They were all so happy. Fabulous
We ordered the special lamb Gyros. The meat was fatty, the flatbread was thick and dry, cheap pesto spread on the bread and no tahini sauce. Kale and blueberry salad was good but no dressing.
The service was horrible. Three employees were making drinks at the bar (training?) and were obviously having a good time oblivious to the customers trying to get their attention.
Great find in Wenatchee!
I was very disappointed that online reservations only accomodated 6 people. While the restaurant offered many wine choices the staff did not have much knowledge. The worst part was the VERY offputting smell that hit every member of my group the second we walked in. A mix of mold, nursing home, mushrooms or some kind of swampy water..... After 2 hrs the smell still did not go away. If it were not for the 9 persons in my bookgroup and limited options for groups that large in our town we would have left
A lovely place for a fabulous meal. The prices reflect the care and and love they put in to the beautiful meals they create. We will go back for sure.
The food was excellent, with some unique choices. The atmosphere was fun and comfortable. I would recommend this restaurant with a big caution. Expect to spend about 2 hours for dinner. Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable, but service was incredibly slow. It was hard to determine why. There were only 2 servers for the whole place, but food did not seem to fly out of the kitchen, and no dedicated bartender, that we could tell. So if you have a lot of time, take friends and enjoy.
Disappointed. Hot food was quite obviously dished up on cold plates. Uninspired and bland. I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.
Probably the best meal I have ever had. The yam gnocchi was amazing. I am planning another trip next month just so we can try their new menu.
Great beer list and knowledgable staff. Ton of wine as well. Although there for tasty food, they are a stumptown coffee place and I get beans there regularly.
I've been going there for lunch for many years. Now they are open for dinner and it is just as good. They have a diverse menu with sample and large plates. They have a full bar, craft beers and an extensive wine list.
We went here for my daughters 30th birthday and the service was excellent! Good drinks and ambiance, but the food was just so-so for me. I had the bacon burger and while it was huge, there wasn't enough flavor for me. The fries were awesome. We had my granddaughter with us and I loved that they served her first before we got our meals.
Great food and really attentive and fun staff and ambiiance
My wife and I made our first visit here today and had lunch.
Stone's had recently been recommended to us, so it was on
my radar. Next came a friend's Facebook posting of a BYGO
there for fish and chips. The meal was really good. Cloth
napkins are always a plus, hospitality was very good as was
the server Reggie. I've already checked Open Table for a
making a future reservation but there not a member yet?
Not sure why not, that's how many of us roll now-a-day's.
The Facebook BYGO was good marketing, we'll be go back
soon and happily pay full price but I prefer to make my
reservations first and foremost through Open Table, hint,
hint.
Good knowledgeable staff and honored our reservation in a timely manner. Food was ok, confusing dining experience as wine tasting and dinner. Wine server came often but we would have ordered more food but did not see server again.
Food was excellent, service absolutely great. Wonderful spot - looking forward to going back!
