The new space downtown easily accommodated The Wine Thieves' vast wine selection and the they quickly embraced the opportunity to expand their business, fill an unaddressed niche in the area which lead to the addition of Stumptown coffee, lunch service and finally full fledged dinner service lead by seasoned Chef, Tony Davis.
Stones fully embraces their vision of an approachable gathering place with amazing wine, excellent food, ever-changing drafts, amazing coffee and customer service.
The exterior sign does not represent the fun atmosphere inside. Been wanting to experience Stones for sometime, glad we finally made a reservation. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Looking forward to another visit to sample other entrees, cocktails, etc.
Food was served hot and prompt. We appreciated that the space between tables was adequate and not right on top of each other. Nice selection of draft beer, liquors and wine. Food was nicely presented and most items were organic. We would be back when we pass through town again.
I have eaten here several times and really havent had a bad meal. However, the main courses are over priced. Most meals are mediorce but some flavorful and creatative. Their handcrafted cocktails are good but, expect a wait to get them... I recommend getting a beer or glass of wine and a few small plates instead.
Squash bisk, Brussels Sprouts on Risotto, and Falafels were all excellent. The Tuna Plate had a little too much sinew this time, but has been excellent in the past.
Not a good experience.... They were very overwhelmed and service was very poor. Unfortunately we will not return to this establishment.
The food is amazing, great wine list. Tables are too close together, wait staff are okay.
We moved here from the East Coast 3 years ago, and we have been disappointed with the eating choices. There are some good places to eat, but we have found a GREAT place at Stones. Keep up the good work!!!
I gave just a good on the review because I had the Brussel spouts entre and felt that the basalmic reduction was quite strong for an entre and there must have been a pound of brussel sprouts. It was helpful to have the polenta.
Good food and service. Cafeteria style seating--better like hearing conversations at adjacent tables. We prefer a little more privacy.
Great food. The Classic Burger with Dirty Fries is the best!
Drinks were amazing ! Delicious Refreshing. Food not so much. I wasn't a fan of the price of the food and it wasn't the greatest. I had Tacos, husband had fish platter. Also ordered the bolognese and was not a fan of the meat either. I will for sure try it again. Maybe stick to a fresh Salad.
We had higher expectations for this restaurant. Unfortunately, they failed to meet these expectations. Food was meh at best, cocktails were great. Atmosphere felt like subway, don't order the beat salad because there's no salad. It's beets and cheese. Expensive for what you get. We won't be back.
This was my first visit and I loved it! I had the pleasure of asking my dear friend to be my Matron of Honor and we celebrated with a 2nd bottle of wine. What a great time!
Very nice restaurant, top spot for Wenatchee for sure. 4.5 stars is my actual rating. The ambiance and service was excellent. I was not floored by the burger, though the meat was high quality and cooked nicely (topings were a bit lackluster, but thats a pretty specific critique). Fries were really good and the "dirty option" certainly took it up a notch!
Wonderful experience. The waitress was super knowledgable and kind with quick service, the food was amazing and the selection for alcohol is very good! I would definitely recommend Stones and we will be going back I'm sure.
Good food. Reasonable prices.
Claire was a fantastic waitress. Very personable and knowledgeable
Took more than an hour and ten minutes to get our food.
Pastas was gummy. “Bolognese” sauce was just sautéed hot Italian sausage. I asked if it was spicy and was told it was not. It was.
Seafood stew had 2 shrimp 2 clams 1 mussel and 1 small piece of white fish
Broth was the wrong color.
Not going back.
Our waitress was wonderful. The manager not so much. Needs training.
We had an outstanding meal and a really wonderful celebration. Service was first-rate!
We were so happy we came to try this restaurant. The food was great! The service was great!
This was our first time trying this restaurant, we were told it was often quite busy so we made reservations for a Friday night. There were only a few other diners there, so I'm not sure reservations are necessary. Service was good, our server was new but was always able to answer our questions and was friendly. We ordered mussels and ahi crudo for appetizers, both were very good. Our friends said their entrees were good. We shared a beet salad that was excellent but were disappointed in the Flatbread. All in all, we enjoyed our meal.
This was our second visit to Stones and will not be the last! Everything was as good or better than our last visit. Food was very good, service was great and the overall experience was one we want to duplicate as often as our wallets allow. Would recommend to anyone that wants a great meal in town and doesn't mind paying for it. Stone has become our go to place.
Great place to eat. Good food nice atmosphere and excellent drink choices
Second time to Stones - and it now officially is my favorite place to get a drink and dinner in Wenatchee. Great beer and whiskey selection. The lamb meatball pasta dish, with the simple house salad made for a fantastic meal, at a fair price with good service. The lady next to me had one of their burgers and it looked delicious (and it was enormous). That's what I'm getting next time!
Nice and simple and delicious.
Brand new server. It ended up being about a 3 hour ordeal. I think she forgot about us and didn’t take our order forever. Didn’t ask if she was willing to comp anything to make up for it. She put an alcoholic drink in front of a minor even after we told her that was incorrect. Wasn’t focused and looked overwhelmed.
Excellent food, extensive wine and bourbon list, good service, pleasant music background, first choice place to meet a friend or take a date
We were only in Wenatchee for a few nights and luckily decided to have dinner here one of the days. The food was really excellent and the beer that I had was also excellent. Definitely recommended!
Invited a friend to meet there, she'd never been to Stone's & I had only been twice. We had a delicious dinner with very good service and a comfortable environment. I will be back.
Wonderful gathering place. This was our second visit and it did not disappoint.
We have come to enjoy the Gastropub for its consistent good food and are so glad to see it flourish in the downtown area.
Fun place with adventurous food and great drinks!!
The menu is seasonal and innovative. The only complaint is that I wish they would serve the food hot. Many times it is just barely warm.
We love this place. The Bison Burgers are amazing! Everything else too!
Good prices too on food and drinks!
This restaurant was a great surprise and absolutely wonderful. The Bison Burgers were delicious! Cant wait to go back!
Great food, ambiance, and decor. Enjoyed the experience and would definitely go again.
We met our nephew and his wife there before a show. Service was a little slow, but friendly. The food was great. Wine and beer were good.
Lovely! Our server was chipper and knowledgeable and the food was great.
Stones is a hidden gem. I think it has a pretty good following in Wenatchee, but is not well known by folks in Leavenworth and West side of state. Thoughtful and creative menu options, attentive service and a great beer & wine list complemented with professionally-crafted cocktails.
The owner is often present and takes care to make sure guests are having a great experience. We were especially impressed that he noticed our bottle of wine was corked -- even when we weren't sure -- and immediately replaced it with a new bottle.
Stones is worth driving in from the surrounding areas for. It's definitely in our restaurant rotation now --we will be back with friends!
