The new space downtown easily accommodated The Wine Thieves' vast wine selection and the they quickly embraced the opportunity to fill an unaddressed niche in the area which lead to the addition of Stumptown coffee, *brunch on the weekends, a cocktail bar and full fledged dinner service.
Stones fully embraces their vision of an approachable gathering place with amazing wine, excellent food, ever-changing drafts, amazing coffee and customer service. *Brunch service is first come first served
We have dined here many times and had great meals but last night was sub par. Our food came an hour after we ordered and much of it was cold. Our waitress ghosted us during the wait for our food and once our food came she never returned to the table. Don’t know if we will be back. ☹️
I made reservations here after reading online reviews. The menu looked interesting (for Wenatchee), so I decided to give it a try. The dinner started nicely, my cocktail (lavender lemon drop) was tasty. However, the keg had blown on the beer my husband asked for. Not a big deal, just sad. Then it took at least a half hour for our entrees to arrive. And unfortunately, my choice was not very good. It was a seafood bowl that was really dry and not very flavorful. My husband tried the pork shank. Not impressed. The only decent meal was my mother-in-law’s fish and chips. She liked it - but she doesn’t go out much. The place is kind of cute, but it’s like they ran out of money to finish decorating all of the way. If you stick with typical pub food, maybe it would be a lot better.
Service was a little slow but very nice server.
Dinner was good and great special on a bottle eof win.
Our server was awesome.
We had a great time. Excellent service and the food delicious.
Ordered two drinks that tasted like cough syrup. Just terrible. Weird vibe. Almost completely empty, waitstaff sat us in corner trapped in by kids in our table space the whole time. Paid our bill and went somewhere else.
Food was good, but pretty expensive for what we had. One glass of wine each, shared an appetizer and a salad at Happy Hour and still over $60.
My friend and I enjoy getting together for dinner out now and then and we always seem to choose Stone's. We've always been really happy with our meal and the service. This past visit, I was a little disappointed with the burger I ordered. I had asked for it to be cooked medium with a little pink and it was well done and a quite dry. Not as much flavor either as in past visits. I'll still come back because everybody has an off day, but I hope this won't be a trend with the food. It's always been so good.
The food was perfect, from the pan fried chicken which was delicious to the beignets. All 4 meals were perfect.
Service was good. Food mediocre. Would not go back.
The waitress was sweet but inattentive. Two of the six of our party came on time as appose to early and could not get their drink order in. Food was one of the worst my spouse and I have had in over 29
years of marriage. Stick to the hamburgers.... maybe that would be Ok!
Food was great but I was disappointed in my Bloody Mary. The picture I saw on the web site looked wonderful full of veggies. But all I got was 3 olives & way too much salt. Not worth $12. Everyone was very nice
Food was good but portions were small and wine pours were skimpy. We spent $100 on 2 entrees and a couple glasses of wine but left hungry. The atmosphere is great and service very friendly. We will likely go back but stick with happy hour.
This is our favorite restaurant in Wenatchee and a recent dinner at Stones did not disappoint. Fantastic food, an excellent bottle of wine and very accommodating service. Prices extremely reasonable; value for money very high! Our meal would have cost at least double on the west side or at a few spots in Leavenworth. Here's another tip: stay at the new hotel next to Pybus on the river, walk to the nearby Sidecar Lounge for a pre-dinner drink and then stroll to Stones for dinner. A perfect evening!
Food was amazing. We started with the pork belly (get it every time) and it was just okay, compared to other amazing pork bellies we've got there...it's worth ordering every time, because when it's good...it's GOOD! They got my order wrong (ordered the pork tacos, but they brought the fish tacos -the special - and I do not regret not sending back....so good) Husband got rib eye...cooked perfectly....son got stones burger and he said it "was A-MAZING" We love it there....can be noisy, but still a great atmosphere. Waitress seemed a little green, but she was nice and attentive.
Excellent food as always and Sara was wonderful!
The food and service are good, the food is lovely if spendy. Outside was better than inside: less ambiant noise. Would be nice to be open for lunch occassionally! Thank you.
We were so excited to try Stones Gastropub as we had heard good things. We were disappointed with our experience and all 4 of us said we would probably never go back. My husband's steak was 80% fat. For the cost that is ridiculous. The server brought him the wrong beer for his second one and acted so ditsy and giggly. I had a Caprese salad that was just cheese and tomatoes. No basil, no pesto, no balsamic vinegar. The fish and chips were good that my friend ordered. My Moscow mule was not good either. Hardly any ginger taste. Definitely not what we were hoping for when celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary.
Our new favourite restaurant, best service, consistantly great food and a wonderfully casual atmosphere!
Six of us from out of town chose this based on Open Table reviews. The place was pretty empty for a Friday night which should have been our first clue. Parking is difficult to find on a busy street. Several members of our party had fish and chips. The fries were limp and greasy. The fish batter was soggy. At $17 for a 3 piece Fish and Chips, it came with no coleslaw. Everything was overpriced. Their special, a small piece of brisket, corn bread, and small portion of potato salad was $22. The atmosphere was stark. The waitperson was pleasant but had to be called over several times. Even to get water refilled. She raved about the strawberry shortcake which was over cooked cake with about 5 strawberries. I asked specifically if the strawberries were fresh. They were not.
We will not return and we gave this information to our bed and breakfast host so she can inform future guests.
Best casual, high quality, small menu place you can find. Great drinks and food, and Sara is the best server in town!
Had the special for dinner! Oh wow! It was amazing!!!
I love the quality of their food and it is unique for this area. Presentation is good too. Drinks are priced high ($11 martini may have used top shelf liquor.)
This was only our second time there, but each time has been very enjoyable. Great staff & customer service!
I have eaten there many times but it seems better than ever right now.
Delicious food. Our server was awesome! Nice selection of whiskey. Kinda loud due to the hard tables and chairs.
The food was fresh and well prepared. I had a spicy burger and it could have been spicier but the flavor combinations were excellent and the burger was thick and juicy. They don't bother flattening their handmade burgers to a round which makes them much thicker and sloppier to eat but the flavor is tremendous.
Chicken and Waffles portion was large and delicious. We've been here before but it seems they've upped their game. Good choice for folks attending events at the Numerica PAC or Convention Center
When it’s busy it’s loud, all hard surfaces.
One of my favorite meals here! We had the special which was the rockfish and it was outstanding. Great service as always!
Stones has great drinks and good food, but I do think that the prices are a bit high for the ambiance and area. The entrees (aside from pasta) run in the $30-40 range. The burgers are more reasonable and delicious as well as the appetizers. My advice? Hit up this place for a casual date night during happy hour or when you are craving a good burger, but save the expensive nights out for somewhere else as it does have more of a pub/casual atmosphere in my opinion.
Service is very good just a little slower than what you’ll get with some of the common chain restaurants. But the quality and uniqueness of the menu more than makes up for it. Just plan on dinner taking closer to an hour and a half
I usually love stones, but our service from the server was very poor. Food was excellent as usual. The new large farm table was too large for table conversations and not suitable for children. The chairs were terrible and would pop every time I moved.
I would have liked it if the staff had read that I brought my man in for his birthday, but they made no comment. I would also have liked a more private table. I made do by sitting next to him on the bench seat.
The exterior sign does not represent the fun atmosphere inside. Been wanting to experience Stones for sometime, glad we finally made a reservation. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Looking forward to another visit to sample other entrees, cocktails, etc.
Food was served hot and prompt. We appreciated that the space between tables was adequate and not right on top of each other. Nice selection of draft beer, liquors and wine. Food was nicely presented and most items were organic. We would be back when we pass through town again.
I have eaten here several times and really havent had a bad meal. However, the main courses are over priced. Most meals are mediorce but some flavorful and creatative. Their handcrafted cocktails are good but, expect a wait to get them... I recommend getting a beer or glass of wine and a few small plates instead.
Squash bisk, Brussels Sprouts on Risotto, and Falafels were all excellent. The Tuna Plate had a little too much sinew this time, but has been excellent in the past.
Not a good experience.... They were very overwhelmed and service was very poor. Unfortunately we will not return to this establishment.
The food is amazing, great wine list. Tables are too close together, wait staff are okay.
We moved here from the East Coast 3 years ago, and we have been disappointed with the eating choices. There are some good places to eat, but we have found a GREAT place at Stones. Keep up the good work!!!
