Stone's Cove KitBar
There are of course booths and tables branching off of the KitBar if you'd like to be facing your company. Our unique design allows for an energetic and lively experience.
The menu features a variety of American cuisine with a contemporary twist and specialty cocktails. We feature lunch, dinner, brunch, and happy hour specials daily.
Food was off the charts.....service was outstanding. Looking forward to next visit.
Really enjoyed my meal (Cobb salad) and sangria. Will definitely return
Drove an hour and a half from Maryland to eat here! We used to visit the Owings Mills location! Worth the time to drive!! Awesome food and concept! We will be back.
Food's good but service - esp. getting the check & paying - was slow
Food was great! The wait staff were inconsistent and unavailable. One member of our party was not served his meal and the rest of us waited & waited until we were finally able to get someone’s attention about the missing entree. Having more than one server is ok, but one person has to oversee the table to ensure everyone’s food arrives.
I like this place, it’s unique... food is good and the restaurant vibe is energetic and comfortable. I’m a repeat customer..: give it a try.
Went at 5 pm Mother’s Day and it was between the brunch and dinner craziness and was perfect. My son and I had the lobster special- it was delicious. He commented he was impressed at how well it was prepared given it’s not a regular menu feature. Others in our party had the fish tacos and the shrimp & grits and both thought they were very good as well. Loved that they offer Happy Hour specials on weekends (even Mother’s Day!). We had two HH apps to share and I enjoyed their version of a Moscow Mule - all at HH prices! Very nice - everyone enjoyed our Mother’s Day dinner. Thank you!
Good service and diverse menu but restaurant configurations is awkward, especially for a large group.
I love the fact that you could get tacos with a lettuce wrap instead of a flour tortilla. Great for those watching gluten. The service was a bit confusing there were a lot of servers but we really weren’t sure who was assigned us but we got it straightened out.
Enjoyed our first visit. Comfortable surroundings. Open kitchen. Prompt and courteous service. Creative and traditional menu items - delicious meal.
Love this place. One of the coolest dining experiences. Sitting at the bar watching the kitchen team work was super cool. The food did not disappoint. I have a gluten allergy, and the have a special menu. It doesn’t included all the amazing flat breads they have, which was a bummer. I had the wings for my appetizer and they were excellent. The portion was perfect. The wings tasted great and were huge. The 4 sauces that went with them were unreal. I then had fish tacos for dinner but they had lettuce wraps for “shells”. It was a mess to eat, but tasted great.
Prices were super reasonable. Service and teamwork on that front was fantastic.
Great food! Can't stay away!
We recently celebrated an office mate's birthday at Stone's Cove. I had been there before but not with this mixed group. Although the food is very good, as is the service, I find the lack of low top tables problematic. I understand that, because it's a kitbar, the high tops enhance the ability to see into the kitchen/prep area. But it is problematic and uncomfortable for short people, and for some older and mobility challenged people. There are low tops available, but very few.
Mass confusion with open table reservation
Tried to break up my party and sit us in different locations even though restaurant of busy or full.
Great service as usual. I love this place.
I didnt like my mango tea and she temade it.
We had such a fun time. Wednesday’s wine is half off the price of the bottle. Food was excellent. We will go back for more!!
Very inventive concept and menu. Food was really well prepared. Fun to watch all the cooking happening!
First time visiting and will definitely go back! Outstanding service and food!
Food and drinks are so delicious. Our waiter was terrific and my 83 year old mother had a wonderful time as did we all. I was so glad I picked this place.
Fun place amazing food and nice cocktails. The service was pretty good too!
My wife and I have been going there since they opened. We live two hours away now, but when we are back in the NoVa area, Stone's Cove is a must stop.
Thank you so much for the continuous support, Robert! Guests like you are brag-worthy. We can not even express how thrilled we are to hear how much you've been loving Stone's Cove. We are so grateful for your kind compliments. Thanks again. Looking forward to your next visit!
Awesome food and very attentive service. Can’t wait to go back to try different dishes. Meatloaf cupcakes were delicious and someone that generally does not eat meatloaf.
Highly trained professionals work here, and it shows in the quality of the food and the service. Check out the brunch menu. It's a gem in the Dulles/Herndon/Reston area.
This was our first time here. Food, staff and value were all top notch!
Neither one of us liked what we ordered. I will never go back. The food is awful. I did order one of their Flat breads (Chicken parm) and only had a small piece of it. Quality of the meat (chicken) was pretty bad. My husband did not like his meal either.
Four of us stopped by for lunch and loved everything from beginning to end. Service is fabulous, food was terrific (we had Fish Tacos and the Key Lime Pie Luv Cones for dessert), and enjoyed watching all the meals being prepared. Server chefs (yes, they do both) were willing to explain what the different dishes going by were called so we could find them on the menu. I highly recommend Stone’s Cove KitBar.
Good food, generous portions, decent service, clean, a little loud.
Always a great experience. Great service and great food......EVERYTIME.
Service was great! Our server Matt attended to all of our requests in a timely manner! Highly recommend!
Great experience. The staff was amazing.
I love this place. They cater to my wants. Great food.
Love this neighborhood gem! Staff are all so nice and very efficient. The food is consistently good and made to order to always served hot. We all enjoyed what we ordered.
This eatery is unique, more bar space than tables— huge fancy marble top bar that takes up some 70% of its space (and the restaurant is large, very nice)
This is a high energy hip place, noisy but tolerable.
The food is DELICIOUS! I wanted to lick the plate clean ;-)
Had the crab cake appetizer and salmon main entree... heavenly!
I will become a regular.
My team had a great experience and some of the ones that are from this area had no clue about your establishment and are planning to visit with their families in the near future. I will use your facility again when I am looking for a dinner or lunch.
Great location vibrant atmosphere always enjoy this place. Highly recomended.
We had a great time at Stone's Cove. Though busy, we were seated quickly at our favorite table. We've come to know several of the servers and many stopped by to say hi, even though they weren't working our section. Flat bread (chicken parm) was good as ever. I tried the cobb salad for the first time. It was different (all ingredients mixed together), but I enjoyed it that way. Hubby's burger was a hit as always. The new chocolate cake dessert is AMAZING and could feed a family of 4 easily, it's that big.
Thanks for your 5 star rating, Jay! We appreciate your business.
Food was good but our server was not very attentive. We would have ordered more food but he didn't come around very much.
To whom it may concern, Our apologies that your server was not as attentive as expected. We strive to provide the highest level of service at the KitBar and this will be noted and improved upon. Thank you for joining us and we hope to see you back at the KitBar again shortly. -Stone's Cove Staff & Management
A friend and I have been to Stone's Cove KitBar three times in the past year or so. The first time the service was quite attentive and the food was excellent. The second time the food was good, but the service was not good. This last time, neither the food nor the service was good. The exception is the Hot and Cold Dips, which was still tasty. The Mackinac Flatbread was weak and not very flavorful. The beef sliders were okay. The S'mores Flatbread was overcooked. Service started out slow and never improved. We had to keep flagging down a server to replenish water (Hate that - pay attention!) even though the restaurant wasn't that busy on a dreary Saturday afternoon. We were very disappointed in the experience this time - and we'll debate whether there will be a next time.
