The environment at Stoneground Kitchen is cool and casual; some describe it as a rustic/urban vibe. You’ll feel comfortable dressed as you are. The window tables have mesmerizing views and are ideal for intimate dining occasions. The outdoor deck seats about 40-people and is the go-to spot for your fair weather celebrations. Park and enter from the rear of the building. Parking is Free. Hope to see you soon!
I've been to Stoneground about five times in the past year. Love it!
The ambiance is nice, big windows overlooking the library and a fireplace in the middle of the dining room. The food was very good, the service very attentive. Would recommend.
Fantastic setting. Great service and food.
The food was AMAZING. I got the Manhattan steak, and it was the best I have ever eaten. It looked small, but was extremely filling. Would definitely recommend.
Dillon is the best, and we will always request him when we’re at Stoneground. The food isn’t perfect. Get everything you can.
Best place for gluten free pasta in SLC. My wife absolutely loved it.
Was disappointed that they were out of so much food. Mixed about returning 🤷🏻♀️
We came here for the second time and again we had a fantastic experience.
Great food, amazing ambiance, good service.
It was quite noisy that would be the only thing that I would like to see different.
Definitely will recommend this to friends and family
Server was knowledgeable about the menu and daily specials. Came around the perfect amount of time. Food was fairly quick from order to table. Ambience and decor was very nice. Menu is quite unique. Good place to take a date.
Friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and great service.
Awesome experience! I went there for my 5 year anniversary and it made it so special.
This was my second time at Stoneground and it was just as good as the first! The focaccino is a must! I regretted not getting the black tagialtelli the last visit, so I did not make that mistake again. It was delish! The chorizo and hot honey pizza was perfection. No room for dessert but the table next to us got the homemade donuts which looked crazy good. Next time!
Will definitely be back.
Food superb, service slow.
Great food and service. We try and eat here anytime we are in SLC
Excellent food and great service.
Birthday it was amazing! Very helpful people! The host was amazing! Our server was kind and friendly. Thank you
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this establishment. Food was excellent and Dillon our server was outstanding.
This was our first time at Stoneground Kitchen and we were very pleased with the recommendation. The food was terrific and the service and ambiance were amazing. We will be eating here again in the future.
Pasta was grossly undercooked. Margherita pizza unexpectedly had sweet balsamic glaze - not appropriate when expecting pure savory flavor- unless was warned on menu
Excellent food and service. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Pizza was delicious. Have driven past this place dozens of times and had no idea Stoneground even existed. We can’t wait to come back.
We came here to celebrate our anniversary and was recommended to try it from a friend. Not really knowing what to expect, we left talking about how amazing it all was! The food was delicious and nothing like we had ever tasted. We asked for suggestions on pairing wines with our meals and they did not disappoint! The ambiance was great! "Mood lighting" good views of some of the city, great music, not too loud, friendliest staff, it was all just outstanding! This is now our favorite restaurant and we can't wait to go back!
Great vibe and decor. Cute date or for groups. Lobster Tagliatelli and Stuffed Pappardelle are highly recommended. Only wish they had clam pizza, which would topped off the menu.
Great food, beautiful ambiance, excellent staff all made for a great experience.
My only minor complaint would be the seating. We sat at a booth (3 gentlemen) there wasn't enough leg room and the back of our booth was also the back of the next booth - not a big deal except that it was loose and both parties felt every movement. Everything else was pretty great!
Took a friend here for her birthday and was a little disappointed. The wine was wonderful (suggested by waiter). I didn't care for the "mixed greens" salad -- too much one kind of green and not my favorite. The dish I ordered (can't recall the name) - a spicy red sauce on spaghetti - was okay but not great. Overall it was a good experience but the food was a disappointment.
Unfortunately this place does not live up to the positive reviews it seems to have. The atmosphere was nice but the service and the food were not good a fair at best. I can tell when a restaurant is struggling financially. Every time we asked about what is good or recommended the person always pointed to the most expensive item in the area we were asking about. That basically means you can trust nothing they say.
As an easy appetizer we ordered the warm olives. They were basically olives from a jar that could be gotten from a low end grocery. My wife had pizza that was average at best. My lasagna was okay but watery. We ordered two Moscow Mules. They were mostly ice and tasted of zero vodka. The one copper cup they gave me had a missing handle. Terrible. When we asked about the wine the waitress pointed us to a $200 bottle when we asked specifically about glasses of red. Crazy.
I always give the benefit of the doubt...therefore I will say this was our first time here. I will leave it to you if you want to give it a try.
Great food for a great value. We sat at the ‘affair’ table for an elevated romantic feel. The pork and fresh donuts were obvious highlights.
We enjoyed our food here very much, but found that the servings (except for pizza) were on the small side. I loved the "old" menu from before it became so "trendy". The prices have gone up, unfortunately.
Super good wine recommendations from our waiter. Lots of gluten-free options for both pasta and pizza. Will definitely be visiting next time I'm in Salt Lake City.
We came to Stoneground Kitchen for NYE and it was very nice. They had a special 5 course meal for $65. We enjoyed each dish. It was a lot of food, so you definitely got your money's worth! Would have liked to have tried the regular menu, but maybe next time.
The food was REALLY salty, we had the Wagu beef starter which had far too much salt (smoker alder wood salt, apparently) sprinkled all over it - we only ate about a third of it. My wife then had the bolognese (same problem with the salt), I had the Chili Maltagliati - which was fair.
We asked for a small bowl of plain boiled pasta - which was excellent, just by itself.
The wine was pretty good and a fair price.
The service was attentive.
We were seated in a booth that was constantly moving whenever the person in the neighboring booth moved - this was MOST disturbing. The lady behind me was tiny, yet if she moved at all I was pushed about in my seat - my wife had the same problem on her side of the table.
Overall I cannot recommend this place - but as I’ve only been once I cannot say don’t go here either.
Next time I’ll ask to be seated at a regular table - and I’ll try the pizza. . .
Christmas Eve dinner that is usually spent with a large group of family came down to just 2 of us this year so we decided to go out to dinner and picked Stoneground. It was great to be able to have a cocktail, wine and a lovely fresh dinner and not have to clean up or bother with anything else. With the roaring fire and great service it was a nice treat to be able to spend Christmas Eve here and I will definitely be back another time.
Our dessert came frozen
The restaurant did not acknowledge my birthday even though we had informed them that we were celebrating a birthday. It would have been appreciated
The food and service were superb. We really enjoyed our experience.
This is my go to place for an easy, wonderful lunch or dinner.
The flavors in each dish was delicious! We enjoyed the roasted veggies, ragu, black tagliatelle with lobster, polenta tots, puttanesca pasta, chocolate budino and the donuts. The restaurant was welcoming and cozy! Our waiter helped us select from their wine list; perfect selections! We dined early, so the noise was at a minimum; able to hold nice conversations. It would have been 5 stars if the tagliatelle was cooked evenly (some of the pasta was a bit too al dente) and the donuts were not cooked through (the middle was a bit doughy).
The food was phenomenal! Our service was great too!
When I booked the table I didn’t realize that it would be a Sunday special tasting. It ended up being tasty but not worth the price. We had to wait to be greeted at our table and they started to bring pizza around before they got our drink order. The ambiance was beautiful. The fire was going and the lighting was perfect.
