Very attentive server. Awesome food. No complaints. Will be back again soon!
Food was delicious!! Fantastic place for fresh seafood. Quiet and cozy with a great wine list. Server Melissa had great menu recommendations and was a great conversationalist. Definitely will be going back.
We were here on the Saturday after Valentine's Day, to avoid the crowds. It was snowing heavily that evening, so it was unusually quiet. Our waitress was great - very attentive, but not annoyingly so. The food was very good, but not great. My husband had the ahi (rare) and enjoyed it and I had the veal and lobster piccata. There were only 3 bites of lobster and it was quite overcooked, otherwise the dish was fine. Nothing to write home about, but an enjoyable experience. We sat downstairs for the first time and really preferred it to the hustle and bustle and noise of the upstairs dining room.
My husband and I went here a few years ago and loved it! When we returned recently we were slightly disappointed. The food was just ok and the table we sat at had food all over the wall. It definitely was not like our first experience and for the price I don't think we will return.
Nice staff great food and good service.
As usual, our experience was a pleasant one. Food was excellent, drinks were delicious and the ambiance couldn’t be more perfect. Our server was very attentive and we were very happy with the overall service. We can’t wait to come back!
Outstanding food and great service. Highly recommended.
Friends came into town for Valentine’s Day food was excellent we had the chefs special we all loved it ,love the crab soup get it all the time also tried the cauliflower mash was so impressed with it it was like having mashed potatoes with out the guilt of carbs would recommend the restaurant to everyone.
One of the worst meals I've had since moving to Pennsylvania 5 years ago. Their clams with chorizo was a total disconnect. You would expect sliced chorizo, not a tomato sauce with crumbled sausage. Their famous crab soup was like eating baby food. Every table around us returned their entrees. Shrimp, scallops, lobster all over cooked. Risotto was pasty. Unless a new better chef surfaces, please skip this lousy restaurant!!!
I've only been there one time...I'll be going back.
Everything was phenomenal as is each time we go.
Melissa, our server, was outstanding!!
The menu changed slightly since we were last here. The host was very pleasant and complimentary. Our business seemed to be appreciated.
I ordered a glass of rose’ wine . There were two by the glass. I strongly recommend asking for a taste first - I have never done this; however, the glass I ordered was $8 plus. I should have ordered the $10 plus offering. I am not very selective about wine (if not ordering a bottle). I had trouble finishing it.
The salad and soup were delicious. And our entrees were good.
The restaurant was quite busy and crowded so it started slow but the food was good and the service was great!
A wonderful place to have dinner. Delicious food, great atmosphere and awesome service. We will be back sometime.
Went t celebrate my wife's birthday and was not disappointed. Great wine, good food and the best service (thanks Beth). My wife was well pleased.
The appetizers and dinner were great. I’ll definitely go back.
Excellent service, food was just ok......Crab Cake very average, roasted potatoes dry, zucchini average. Good salad with Lemon dressing. A bit pricey.
Everyone at Stone Crab was very courteous, helpful and made our dining experience very enjoyable. The food was delicious. We had friends with us who attended Stone Crab for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed their first visit.
Excellent seafood-took my husband as a treat for his birthday. He was sooooo happy with his dinner.
There was not a lot of positive to say. My husband’s veal dish was extremely dry. I ordered the stoned crab filet rare and got a plain filet medium. The replacement had about a tablespoon of crab. We were comped my wine and no charge for the tablespoon of crab, but the experience will not bring us back.
Arrived early for our 7:00 reservations, so my wife and I enjoyed a drink at the bar, deciding we would definitely come to Happy Hour. When our booth was ready we were escorted there by a very pleasant hostess. We ordered an appetizer (mussels) which were very good. We enjoyed each other's company while having another drink while deciding on our main course. So many good choices, it was difficult. The sandwiches we elected to have were delicious. Portions of everything we ate was ample, not leaving room for dessert. The Stoned Crab is a place to return for an enjoyable night out.
The service was excellent. Food was fresh and amazing. First time there. Will be going back again!!!
Granted it was New Year's Eve but the noise level was so high it made my dining experience very unenjoyable. I had forgotten that we had a similar experience two year's prior or I never would have dined there. My lobster tail was very dry, the carrots were hard and you couldn't talk to someone nearby without shouting. Only the dessert was good. I will not eat there again.
NYE dinner. No indication on website or confirmation that it was a limited menu. Place was not incredibly full or busy...Took 20 minutes to get first drink. Aoli with calamari was mayo with lemon, yuck. Calamari breading wasn’t my favorite. Crab soup was good. Waitress brought food and never checked on us again. Really...if the people seated in your restaurant CHOSE this over many others to celebrate the New Year I expect much better service. Will not be back to celebrate a special occasion.
Seated near the bar and heard constant slamming of refrigerator door! Horrible...does management not notice this? Also overheard a little tiff among staff behind Bar. Classy.
Main course was very good, potatoes were cold and vegetables were also cold and hard. Excuse was that there were several large parties. Dined there several times and it was always good. Waitress was good and very apologetic.
Your place was nice but the food was cold. I would not visit your place again. And if asked What I thought I would tell my friends "Don't go". I was very disappointed.
Service is very slow. Food came out ice cold. Very disappointed and will not go back
Visit Ed Christmas Eve. Service was slow. Food just ok
We went for the first time on Christmas Eve. The food was wonderful! The service was excellent! We did sit in a booth overlooking the entrance/parking lot which was disappointing.
Food was good. The filet and crab was the choice of 4 at our table. Everything was done to our orders. Could of had a little more crab on the filet. King Crab appetizer was ok, but a little pricy for a 1/2 pound. Will go back. Hope they pick up the Delmonico and lump crab appetizer on the menu again, was our favorite.
