Stone Werks - Lincoln Heights
Great atmosphere and the food was GREAT! It was a Friday night and although we expected a busy night while waiting for service, it seemed like we were always "looking" for our waitress. One thing that made it better was the manager came by asking if everything was going well. However, it was great that the manager came by but it was early and we had not experienced "looking" for the server at that time. It was loud with TV's/talk/that when the server took my order she incorrectly heard that I just needed a side item and order another meal!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere~
Our server was so nice but the food took 45 minutes and the quality was not what it should have been for that price
Great food and cocktails. Waiter was very helpful with recommendations.
Had a great time restaurant was very nice staff were friendly and helpful the whole atmosphere was great. Would highly recommend.
Very nice Valentine Day experience and date. Great service tonight
The sirloin steak was cooked medium well and seasoned beautifully. My wife had the stuffed salmon, cooked perfectly. Our hostess and server were excellent. I would come back.
We were there on Valentines Day. The food was good. We had baked oyster appetizer and calamari. I had Salmon my husband had the prime rib. They were both great! We had a cherry cobbler for dessert. It was excellent. The meals came with a complimentary glass of wine. I also received a rose upon arrival.
Had a great night.
Ok so I really had to push myself giving Stonewerks a low score. It was Valentine's day night. Right then and there I would make sure my staff was ON it!! Our server was amazing!! Wish I could remember her name though. Anyway, we had our appetizer, the oysters Rockefeller, and it was amazing!!! Then, when our entrees came, the fish was warm, but our sides (rice and green beans) were COLD!! Reluctantly we sent the food back. Our server came back to the table and said the chef said it would "be a minute.." So, 38 minutes later, here comes the manager with our food. Little did he know about 5 minutes prior my wife and I had already asked for the check as we had a performance to attend. He was very apologetic, and compted the food and drinks we did receive. We thought that was very honorable. So, although Stonewerks is usually a fantastic restaurant, perhaps you should think twice before going on such a busy night.
Everything was great. The staff was wonderful and considering the day of the year, they were really outstanding. This is a great place to party or unwind.
We had reservations and were seated immediately. Service was very good and the pork loin chop was absolutely delicious. Made for a very pleasant dining experience.
Amazing food. We went for valentine's dinner and cannot Express how romantic and yummy it was. We will be going back again.
Great place with extensive drink menu and delicious food. Service is always very good.
I had a requested a booth up front for the ambiance, the hostess called to confirm that. When I go there that hostess was like no booths are available - you can sit over there or have a long wait. I was very angry, I waited a got my booth. I asked to speak the manager. He was great and gave us a free desert. My point is the hostess up front should have said, we are getting your table ready - would like to wait in the bar.
A good restaurant that has some service inconsistencies however this visit was perfectly orchestrated .
mostly excellent/ service very good/food excellent/bar good/server very good however had many tables to wait was a little rushed, other than that(not really a problem) an excellent evening....have dined at Stone Werks many years...both at first place and at new location.....
Met there for a business dinner. Great service, great selection, food superb, prices reasonable. I'll be back! :)
Best service and the fish superb!
Always excellent food.
Great food. Definitely for dessert do the 14 Karat Cake. Oysters and shrimp were fantastic!
This place was so good. Service was great .
Had a Birthday Dinner for my wife. Good service and food.
We had a 7:30 reservation for our party of 6. We arrived early and they were able to seat us early. We had friendly conversations with the staff that made us feel very welcome. The food was very good with a good selection of choices on the menu.
I went here with a group of friends on what ended up being a busy night. I had to flag down a waiter for initial service, but it was pretty good after that. Our food took a little time to come out, but our servers warned us that the kitchen was backed up and that there were a few big parties in the restaurant. I appreciate the heads up on that. This is a good place for big groups.
Overall a good experience. Was able to make a reservation and not be told no or you have to wait an hour due to a large party.
We had the family out for day after Thanksgiving break. They handled the large group very well and the food came it quickly and well prepared. For the price point, we were extremely impressed. Unfortunately, we were just visiting or else we would return soon. The only mild disappointment were the desserts. While they were good enough and very large portions, they did not seem to be made in house.
Love the ribeye
I guess the place is okay. We were disappointed about a menu that you can find at just about any chain resturant in any city.
The sliders were wonderful and the couple we were with loved their Greek salad and prime rib sandwich. Stone works never disappoints.
Great variety on the menu and the Chef, Jordan, made my wife exactly what she wanted, excellent Salmon sandwich that was not on the menu - Madison took very good care of us as well. Great outdoor space too
This was the first time we didn't receive excellent service and great food. Our food was cold and not as appetizing as the food from the other Stone Werks we have been to. We were very disappointed as were celebrating our son's 24th birthday with a special dinner. What a disappointing meal!
The food and drinks are so good, the appetizers are good.
Celebrating birthday. Excellent food, service and ambiance.
Met a friend here for happy hour. I was seated quick but the waiter didn’t show up to my table for a while. I ordered my food and drinks together just in case and I’m glad I did because I didn’t see him again until after happy hour was over. My guest was not able to get any happy hour deals. She managed to place her order as he was leaving to serve someone else. We literally had to get up to get our own to go plate. I likely won’t be returning here.
We had a reservation and were shown to our table right away, no wait. The food was delicious . We order the salmon and an 8 oz. sirloin steak (new menu item). Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. The house side salads are pretty large portions, and our waitress suggested we share one, which turned out to be perfect in both portion size and preparation. All in all, are really nice and relaxing Saturday evening date night with my spouse and better half.
Food was good
Neighborhood restaurant that rarely disappoints. Server was excellent (really on top of her game.
Great food at a good price. Mahi entree was excellent!
This was our first time at this location as we usually go to the one in Alamo Heights. I accidentally ordered a bowl of soup when I meant to order a cup. When I mentioned this to my server he didn't offer to take it back or anything. He just told me a spoon was on the side. Perhaps he didn't hear me, but it just seem like good customer service to me.
