Stone Mountain Grill
The firecracker shrimp tacos were amazing, you won't regret getting them.
We have been going to Stone Mountain for a few years already. We have even bought out of town family who are visiting and friends. The food is always tasty and the staff super sweet and accommodating . The only down side is the time it takes to get the food and many times the cook staff does not read the specific requests that the server wrote for them to follow.
Mediocre at best
Hamburgers reminiscent of a Red Robin
Decor was like Bob Timberlake:: Cracker Barrel
Service was ok
I would try somewhere else
Great menu selections and quality of food at reasonable prices.
My steak was great, but my wife Mahi was dry. Tasted like canned tuna. Sat outside on the patio as we were told it was less noisy. Yeah, right. The chairs were very uncomfortable and made it hard to eat our food. Not sure I would go again.
The service was very slow. It was also a challenge to find vegetarian options for someone in our party.
Food was fine, but 3 hours to finish a meal due to slow setvice
We had our friends in from out of town. We ordered drinks that took 30 minutes to receive and 35 minutes before we were able to order our meal due to our waitress being MIA. I spoke with the manager and he advised there were two large parties so they were behind. Totally understandable, however, it didn’t seem like our waitress was hosting the other tables and completely ignored us the entire night.
Our friend wanted another drink and finally went to the bar as she would not come back to check on us. When she came back to our table, she confronted him about how he went to the bar. There was nothing else to say except she never came back to ask if we needed anything else.
We finally received a new waiter and he was much more hospitable and apologetic. I think she told him she wasn’t going to wait on us after that. The meal was comped and the second waiter made up for the waitress we initially had. I just have never had such poor service in my life and our friends were equally just as shocked.
Service was great
We enjoyed an early dinner at Stone Mountain Grill in Ballantyne. The food was very good, as usual; the service was amazing; and we had a coupon - so, we were delighted.
Great service and food.
A great place to dine! Great food, great service!Very cozy! Loved it!. Highly recommended!
We arrived promptly at our 9:30 reservation time and were seated. While we sat waiting there were 3 other couples seated right around us. Their waitress came out, acknowledged them, even looked at us but never asked to serve us. After approx 10 mins I got up and asked the hostess what the deal was as to why 3 couples that had come in after us had been served and we had not even been acknowledged. Finally a waitress came over with an attitude, took our order and brought us prime rib that wasn't worthy of being fed to my dog. First and last visit there. On top of all of that I received a bill for more than 80 dollars for crap! ugggg
Food was great but service was so bad we won’t return. Waited 45 mins for our food only to be told that they had run out of what my wife had ordered. We were charged full price for her second option. Waiter hardly checked in with us and didn’t apologize for not having my wife’s choice in stock. Will not return.
Decent food at an okay price. Good, quick and efficient service and knowledgeable staff
Good for a quick bite on a weeknight or weekend.
Food was great service was ok and didn’t get table I wanted but it was a nice experience.
Always enjoy going to Stone Mountain Grill. Service can be a little slow, but it enables the diner to sit back and relax a little.
We love the food and the service we receive when dining at Stone Mountain
Please is incredible and we have been dining there for 6 years and counting
My husband and I love Stone Mountain Grill. We usually get great service along with great food and ambiance. We went to SMG for Valentine's day. This time wait staff was not great. First I asked for single malt scotch selections. She brought me phone with American whiskey. I asked about Oban or Dalwhinnie. She found some, but said all they had were Macallan and Glenlivit, not her fault. I prefer Highland scotch. I tried a rum, but ended up drinking beer with my meal.
Other than that, everything was great!
Great food, great service and great memory.
So easy to reserve for Valentines Day. The service and food were amazing!
Serving staff were no where to be seen - restaurant was empty!
Table for 8 - business dinner and they didn't bring out one of the meals. 10 min later we had to ask where it was.
Food was cold.
Rather go to Firebirds.
We had a buy-one, get-one coupon for the Saturday Brunch. Mike had the buttermilk pancakes that come with your choice of two sides & toast. I opted for the grilled chicken and roasted pear salad with walnuts, blue cheese & the Sherry vinaigrette dressing. We both enjoyed our meal.
It is conveniently located in Ballantyne.
It was a pretty slow night but it took 25 minutes to get our food. Our waiter had 3 tables to attend to.
While our food came out hot, it did not have the taste I was expecting for a parmesan-crusted trout; it was bland. Our waitress was not attentive at all, we had to flag down other waiters to get additional dressing, water, tea, and the check.
Our food was disgusting. I paid an extra $6 for a lobster bisque to accompany my restaurant week meal. That and the wine (given as an appetizer with my restaurant week) were the best two things I ate. My mahi mahi was way over-cooked and flavorless. The lobster Mac had dry macaroni and no enough lobster. They added a few pieces on top like a garnish. It wasn’t mixed in. My cheesecake tasted like it came out of a box from Costco. I couldn’t finish it. Our service was slow and simple requests were not granted. My friend asked for a small plate. Never got it.
We had the Charlotte Queen's feast, kabobs appetizer, surf and turf dinner and the cheesecake. The wait staff were great, the meat was cooked good and it was a good experience. The bartender was overworked and it showed. That was probably the only dark spot in an otherwise nice date night meal.
I think that by the time I got there, everyone was tired and overworked. Will go back when less crowded to really enjoy the food and service.
First time going and was perfect. Will definitely plan on visiting again.
The service was great and the food tasted amazing. They have bar section with TV's showing game, then a patio section that would be awesome to visit in the summer, and overall dining area which was laid out nicely and not over cramped that you feel that had own space.
Food was great. Service was quick, but server was not super attentive and had not much of a personality.
I absolutely enjoyed it with my wife. It was our first time and we are definitely coming back on another occasion!
Our meal was very good. The lobster bisque was amazing. I wanted to order an cup and was told I would have to pay for another queen’s feast to have another serving of soup. I found that very weird. My husband and I were saying we could come back and have the lobster bisque with a salad and be very happy. In my opinion, if someone loves something enough that they want to buy more, you find a way. You don’t say no.
Both our entrees were very dry. I had the fish my wife had a filet. We tried the restaurant for restaurant week. Probably won’t return.
Best part of our experience at SMG was the service! It was impeccable. One diner had a selection from the Queen's Feast menu and I had a salad and entree from the regular menu. The Queen's Feast specials were great, a good selection of items to choose from. The Queen's Feast selection started with a wedge salad (vey good). The Mahi Mahi special was cooked properly and served with lobster mac and cheese, which was very good. The caramel cheesecake was very, very sweet, a Southern-style cheesecake, not a New York style. The menu items were the house salad and meatloaf entree. All salads at SMG include blue cheese crumbles, which I don't like, but I asked for no blue cheese and it was omitted. The salad was great. The meatloaf is roasted and then slices are grilled. This is my favorite entree at SMG. It was served with smashed red potatoes and Frenched green beans. The potatoes were on the gummy side and the green beans were mushy. I've had much better potatoes and green beans at SMG in the past. I usually don't eat potatoes, so I did not miss them (only took a forkful to taste) but the green beans could have been better.
Food was excellent. Service was great. Very attentive and prompt service. Shrimp appetizers were great. Steaks were all cooked correctly. Will dine again.
Second time in three days. Good value, good food. Could have been a little warmer
Food was just average. Not tasty and flavorful. Not sure if this is on my out to eat list for the future.
Staff was nice.
My ribeye was delicious, the ribs very well done. Would recommend trying the loaded potatoes and share the Tuxedo cheesecake.
That was decadent! Very reasonably priced, very casual place. Easy parking.
It was good.
We chose the special menu of $50 for 2 people. Included appetizer and dessert to share; salad for each; and entre for each. Food was hot and the quantity was large. Much more than we could eat so we had supper for the next night. Our server, Emily, was excellent. We had been there once for lunch, but this was our first time for supper. Will definitely return as there are several items on the menu that we want to try
We came here for our anniversary last year and wanted to come back again
