Enjoyed a nice business lunch with a client. Service was very good and the food was great. Noise level was a bit of a problem for our conversation, but the table of ten ladies next to us were having a great time. Thought of joining them. :)
Good ambience! Excellent food. Lots of options. Will recommend this restaurant for all casual and business dining.
Service was poor. Asked three times for ice and never received any. Was charged double for drinks because our waitress dropped the first order on the floor. Burger was not cooked to order.
We had a party of 8 celebrate Mother's Day at Stone Creek. This was the best meal out that we've ever had on Mother's Day. While the restaurant was very busy, our service was very good from the time we checked in to be seated to ordering and receiving our food to paying our bill. Our waitress was polite and helpful, checking on us regularly. They had some special brunch offerings for Mother's Day along with the regular menu. My father in law ordered the biscuits and gravy from that menu, which came as a very generously sized portion, and he ate it all indicating it was delicious. The rest of us ordered off the regular menu. The fish tacos were very tasty. The miso salmon was scrumptious, served elegantly with yummy sides that were filling but not way too much food. The menu is somewhat limited on vegetarian and gluten free options (not just one but both combined), so my daughter ordered a salad and asked them to hold the meat. It was served with bacon, but when informed of that, the waitress promptly took care of it.
The atmosphere and decor inside the restaurant is pretty and relaxing, with high ceilings and greenery throughout. It creates a nice ambiance for a family gathering. We did not eat outside (it was very hot that day), but the outside area looked pleasant as well.
We will definitely go back to this Stone Creek and appreciate their help in making our Mother's Day an even more special celebration.
The meal was great. You can never go wrong with the filet!
We went here for my birthday. We started out on the patio and then it started to rain. They found us a table inside thankfully. The service was great as well as the food!
I got the choose two and chose the side salad with Chicago Beef sandwich. The salad is one of my favorites but this is the first time I tried the beef sandwich and it was delicious! Service was great too.
Terrific food and terrific service! Had reservations there at 7:30 on a Friday evening in early May to celebrate after son's MBA graduation from IU. Dinner was for 4 and we all ordered something different but we began with calamari and spicy garlic shrimp (yes! Spicy!) appetizers. Then went on to steak, sea scallops, smothered chicken and filet medallions with lobster risotto. Food was served hot, quick, nicely presented and with ample portions and very tasty.
We chose the brownie sundae for dessert and it was large enough to serve 4 people (we were all pretty full by this time) and it was delicious.
Waitress never rushed us and was very attentive.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the Indianapolis area. We were from the Chicago area and found this restaurant recommended by trip-advisor. Can definitely see why it is ranked as the #1 restaurant in Plainfield.
Good as usual
One of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had . I would definitely recommend it!
A nice surprise in a shopping center! Great place, nice decor, excellent food, and terrific service. What a nice find in Plainfield!
Awesome meal at Stonecreek as always! This is our frequent go-to restaurant for casual business dinners. The staff are very attentive but not too intrusive. The meals never disappoint!
Favorites include the filet, house salad dressings, applewood chicken salad and ahi tuna.
Love having the Cunningham group bonus point system as we frequent all of the west side and downtown locations. The hundred dollar gift card as nice incentive, though we would still go just for a great meal and the atmosphere
Wonderful for date night!!! What I ordered was the smothered chicken, it was yummy but it tasted like a grill which isn’t fun! The loaded wedges were AMAZING! The bread & oil were also yummy!! Waitress was AWESOME! Would definitely recommend!
My steak came out overdone. They made it right, redoing it and giving a generous credit at the end. This restaurant chain is really good with customer service.
Met up with friends for a very enjoyable lunch; waitress was excellent and very personable.
Server was great.
We were seated and our waiter came over to check on what we wanted for drinks. We ordered drinks and he said he would bring out bread. We got our drinks and water also. No bread. We finally got our bread about a minute before our meals came out. We both ordered our steaks to be medium rare but they came out medium. We had waited quite a while to get our meals so we did not want to wait to have to re done. Our waiter dropped off our check and I noticed that my drink was twice the price that it was on the wine list. I brought it to the waiters attention and he did take care of it but said that it had just been reprinted or something. We were very disappointed in our meal and our waiter because we have had wonderful meals there before. He did not offer more bread which would have been nice since they only give you half of a loaf now. It was our anniversary dinner so that was another let down on the meal. It will be a while before we go back.
Always a pleasant experience.
Always a great experience at Stone Creek!
A group of Gordon Food Service employees selected the restaurant to celebrate our recent sales contest win. Everyone enjoyed their meals!
Birthday dinner for my husband. The quality and quantity of food is consistently great at this dining spot. Manager stopped by our table to ensure all was well. You must try the Horseradish Dijon crusted sirloin!
Great place to dine in Plainfield. Bar is great to sit in. Large booths, more intimate seating than out in main dining. Excellent menu. Chicken piccata fantastic. Small sirloins are hit or miss. Some fatty bites but for price you can’t beat it. Always enjoy dining here.
Always good, steaks aren't always cooked to order. Why ask if they aren't going to come out like you want. Sending back is not an option folks. The rest of your party is finished when it comes out the second time, so they get to sit and watch you eat. Manager, if you are truly concerned about the customer, don't hem-haw, take it off the check. Your motto should be, if it is not right, you don't pay. It is a great place to eat. We come here a lot, I would consider us regulars. If you don't like this review, don't ask for one. The steaks are not right nine out of ten times.
We ate here for Easter this year, and the food was VERY good. Our waiter was super friendly, and our service was fast.
Waitress was outstanding
The food here is always superior. Service is always good. It was a very busy Saturday night and I had made a reservation ahead using the Open Table app. I asked for a quiet romantic table in the back, but instead I was seated in the middle of the main room next to a table of 12 celebrating a child’s birthday party. I asked our hostess about a better table I saw and was told that section didn’t have enough servers. It’s a VERY loud restaurant. Service and food here is always superior.
Awesome as always. Bread and oil are highlights, as they are both so good. Had Parmesan Chicken and was wonderful. Husband had the pork chops and was very good too. Very crowded for a Wednesday evening, but food was brought out very quickly and very hot. Always a treat when we get to come back here.
Meal was excellent service was outstanding never had the shrimp or calamari both were excellent I had the filet cut like butter and the taste was excellent
The food was great but service was very slow. I have eaten here several times and always had great things to say about the food and service. But today was a different experience, I am hoping our waitress was just having an off day and will improve, I do like this restaurant and they options are very good.
Food was great! Waitress was amazing! She was attentive and friendly.
Front door staff needs some work. They acted like we were bothering them. We had reservations but the dining room was empty at just before 5. They stuck us at the table right in front of the noisy servers station. She was very irritated when we asked if we could have one of the other open tables. Walked us all the way back to the front to figure it out before seating us.
Service was great and fast. Food was very good.Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Since moving to Plainfield two years ago Stone Creek had been one of our favorite haunts. We typically eat there about once a month on one of our Thursday "date nights" out. We were previously there with our broker two week prior to our Thursday 3/14/18 visit.
1. Early Thursday afternoon we requested our "regular" Table #61 for 6:00 p.m. and had rec'd a reservation acknowledgement at 4:24 p.m. When we arrived at SC we were seated at #62 because others had been seated at #61. The restaurant had lots of vacant tables, and was anything but busy.
2. We had to wait for what seemed to be a long time for our food to arrive at the table at about 6:45 p.m.
3. I had ordered a small fillet (medium well) . When It arrived at the table the server warned me to be careful of the hot plate (He must have worked previously at Ruth's Chris). There was nothing to be afraid of, however, inasmuch as the pat of butter on top of the fillet wasn't even melted, and it wasn't going to melt either, as the fillet was anything but hot. I suspect that it had been sitting on a shelf somewhere waiting on a server to deliver it during the long while we were waiting to be served. I have a policy not to send food back to the kitchen as I had friends who worked in the food service business.
4. After paying the bill I voiced the above to the manager on duty, but didn't get a very empathetic response.
Thanks for listening and being proactive with solving the above problems, as we like SC.
Solid meal, a low risk choice for a group of almost any background. Prices are fair, would go back if in the area again.
My husband had the crab cake, lobster Mac and cheese with potatoes. His was exceptional. Bread and house served dipping oil was to die for. Atmosphere and service were very nice. My steak was cooked perfectly, but was cold when I got it. Mashed potatoes were luke warm, asparagus was raw in the middle (supposed to be grilled). Simple assumption and long term restaurant experience myself told me that it probably just sat in the window too long. Still tasted good, besides the asparagus.
Always a good choice for a nice meal. Requested a booth that is out of flow of traffic that I have used before. I find it is easier for me to hear and not be distracted by the goings on in the large dining area. Bread and dipping oil always start a great meal. We went with a pasta dish and the pick two meal. Both were wonderful. Service was good and the booth we had was right by a service station which I did not find distracting. Overall a top notch meal and evening.
Really enjoyed my experience at Stone Creek. I went here with a co-worker and one of our customers, and had a delicious meal. We started off with the shrimp cocktail, dined on the filet and crab cakes, and topped it all off with Graeter's ice cream.
Poor service. Cold food. We typically love Stone Creek but this was a very poor experience.
We eat at Cunningham restaurants at least once a week. The food is good and the wait staff is even better. The only issue we had this time was we had a nice romantic two top booth in the bar area, and we had two loud talkers at the bar across the aisle from us. It was like trying to eat dinner at a monster truck night. VERY LOUD!
Enjoyed dinner with my wife before walking across the street to the movie theater. Give yourself at least 1 1/2 hours for dinner, or you'll miss your movie.
Normally this restaurant is great but this last time was not so good. My food came out a full 10 minutes before my friends and we almost missed our movie because of it. It wasn't as good either. I also made a note that it was her Birthday but had to remind them anyway. Even though I made a reservation and the restaurant was empty they acted like they had no room for us. I suppose I caught them on an off night, I'll give them one more try.
