Friends gathering that was so special we felt very safe from covid. All staff wore masks and no tables with people near us. Server even brought us each our own spoon to share the appetizer. Really friendly and professional. Thank you!
Sarah was great!!
Service was slow. Food very good.
Appetizer was great (Calamari and mixed greens with an amazing blackberry vinagrette dressing).
Main courses were average at beast (I had sirloin and baked potato. Substituted a salad for the vegetable. Husband had Orange Miso salmon with sesame rice cakes). Neither of us particularly enjoyed the main courses, but both agreed that the calamari and mixed green appetizer was the best thing on the menu.
Also, the bread an dipping oil were pretty good too.
Next time I'll just skip the entrees, and get an appetizer, bread, and salad.
The overall environment is good, they do not have jacket holders outside the booth so I had to wear my suit jacket all dinner. The food portions are small and the fish I had was swimming in it's sauce yet still tasted dry. Overall I think this place is perfectly average with a price tag that is suited for those expecting better than average.
Stone Creek is our favorite restaurant in Plainfield. We love sitting in the bar area and Zach’s service is always on par.
All Cunningham’s restaurants are great! We feel comfortable dining in and outside. The food is delicious and all the restaurants have our safety in mind with following all the pandemic guidelines. The wait staff are pleasant and do a good job attending to us.
Waitress was amazing. Food was amazing. Will be back again and not just on Veterans Day!
Jackie was our server and absolutely fantastic!
The Veterans day meal that I received at Stone Creek, Plainfield and the service was remarkable. Each year there are many offer for specials on this day but this was above and beyond. I am very appreciative. My family and I have a very special evening. Thank you!
Our waitress was awesome! Enjoyed the dinner. Appreciate the service received on Veteran's day. Thank you.
Veteran’s Day dining. We always love to go to Stone creek for that as they show great appreciation for our veterans.
Great service. Staff very attentive.Food was good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
It's difficult to have a poor experience here. In this visit we were able to sit outside on a perfect day. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The meals for the four of us were spot on delicious as I expected...chicken jalapeño soup, a couple of salads, one with chicken, one with salmon, a squash wellington and crab cakes.
One of our favorite places to eat.
Husbands Birthday. Have to say my reviews are usually more positive. We were seated in a both under the stairs. It was a very tight fit. We had more room that the couple across the table from us. Should be save for very small people.
We were seated about 6:35pm. Ordered drinks, salad & meal. Got drinks, bread and salad in a normal time. We waited for our meal and finally asked the waitress what the hold up was... it was probably about 7:45. She came back and said it was on its way. Our meal did not arrive until after 8:00. My husband asked for the bill as he wanted to get home to watch the Norte Dame/Clemson game. We scarfed down our foos and By the time we left it was 8:20.
We love going to Stone Creek in Plainfield. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is great ! Our favorite is sitting in the bar and having Chelsee as our bartender! She is always so friendly and remembers our names and drinks of choice which makes us feel right at home !
Food was excellent, service was slow and we had to ask for refills twice
Great food, service & company as usual. Brandon took good care of us like always. We always request him. Of course we'd go back again!
We enjoyed our 44th wedding anniversary with a nice dinner and great service at Stone Creek.
Excellent service as always. Amazing bread and oil is always a hit! Food very hot and did not take long to receive. Salads fresh. Always a good choice for our date nights!!!
First time back in a while. Last time was not best, but this time made up for it! Quickly seated, attentive wait staff and excellent food!
We celebrated our anniversary at Plainfield Stone Creek. We were quickly seated, our server was attentative, the food was good, and we were given a free desert to celebrate. What's not to like?
We have always enjoyed visiting Stonecreek locations but this was our first visit to the Plainfield restaurant. We were greeted nonchalantly in the waiting area after I checked in for our reservation in was told it would be just a few minutes. The wait wasn’t terribly long but was a bit irritating considering we had made the reservations in the first place. The food was excellent as always but the trend seems to be to drown everything in garlic butter sauce. Steaks, veggies, potatoes, doesn’t matter is will come with garlic. I hope that someone will tell the chef that there are worlds of other spices they can use other than garlic and butter. We had two birthdays in our foursome and they did provide a complimentary dessert for the two ladies but even though I had made that point in my reservation request we still had to inform them of the occasion. Not a criticism as much as a hint for future learning. We had a great time and would recommend this place for great food. Price is a bit high if you like to have adult beverages with your meal but still a great spot for fine dining.
The ribeye was amazing - tender and flavorful... all of the meals in our party looked amazing - great presentation and they all said everything tasted great. Our server was very attentive and pleasant.
The food was excellent! I thought the price matched the quality of the food. Overall I was impressed.
Walked in and were told 45 minutes wait. Walked outside and made reservation on open table, walked back in and was immediately seated. Host was not happy
Hunter was the best waiter I've ever encountered, and I'm 73 years old. My shrimp was excellent and my friend's pastry-wrapped vegetable was also very very good. However, my husband's ribeye was a huge disappointment. Pretty tough for a ribeye, and without a bone. Probably won't go back.
Cunningham restaurants are our favorites and this experience did not let us down. Food was excellent and the service was outstanding!
They didn't have the reservation we made through open table. Not sure what happened. They did find us a spot luckily.
I wish I could give you 10 stars! My friend and I sat outdoors to celebrate her birthday, and after one visit, I’m sold that this is my new favorite restaurant. Absolutely delish!
We very much enjoyed eating in the outside area, properly social distanced. And the wine recommended to us by our service was excellent. I enjoyed my birthday dessert, too!
The service was fine. My son and myself both had the sirloin. Way to much seasoning. It should complement the meat, not be the only thing I taste. Restaurant was fine. We sat outside on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
We ate outside on their patio which was nice to be outside, however our table outside was filthy! It looked like a picnic table at a state park, had I know I would have brought my own Clorox wipes and sanitized the table. We were afraid to put our utensils down on the table. Also waitress didn’t understand gluten free and so overall mediocre experience, food was decent, service was fine but overall experience left us wondering what the kitchen looked like if they weren’t sanitation practices in place for outside tables. 😐
Always enjoy eating at stone creek. Typically sit at the bar where Zack the bartender is always fantastic both with drink selection and service. Would recommend trying the calamari and salmon salad. Never had either before bu they were great. Definitely a 5 star experience.
1st time, will be back
YOU CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON AN AWESOME DINING EXPERIENCE AT STONE CREEK IN PLAINFIELD.
Just wish they wouldn't use bleach to clean tables...it's gross to have to breathe in. Try using hydrogen peroxide. Bleach is very toxic.
Wonderful dinner with friends on the patio. Great service with amazing food. We felt safe from pandemic with servers masked and aware. Thank you- I highly recommend!
The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful. I would eat there again.
