Food was excellent. So was the service
I return every year for the cranberry poppy seed salad dressing! This time I enjoyed a shrimp pasta dish that tasted wonderful.
Wait staff was horrible. Had to ask for everything at least twice. Very uncharacteristic of a Cunningham restaurant.
Nice place. Bring your wallet. Pricey but food is good. Service was good. I’ll be back.
Service was the worst we have ever had at stone Creek, hopefully this isn’t their new standard!
Every time when it is just my husband and I we get seated in the bar, it was so noisy and very loud!! This is the second time this has happened, we will be sure to ask not to be seated by the bar when we go back. Service was ok, food was ok, my ribs were slightly cold.
Great meal and atmosphere. Filet was cooked perfectly and scallops were delicious, as well. Bread pudding was excellent.
Went again for my wife’s 40th birthday. The menu is nowhere near as good as it once was with more expensive prices. The food was okay. My wife ordered a medium 8oz filet and it came out rare. They sent it back but it was obviously put into a microwave. When it was returned it was scolding hot and the piece my wife cut was now well done. This is no longer the top level of restaurant it used to be. I am usually a fan of Cunningham establishments but the Plainfield location has gone down hill. I am not sure I will be returning.
Nice evening dinner.
A great upscale casual. This is the local chain that can be a great business lunch or night out for adults. Often seeing the spectrum of couples, groups, and families in the evening. Meals are reasonably priced for the quality. Steaks were better than we have had at other more "famous" Indianapolis establishments. Calamari is great and not overly breaded. Service is attentive to needs and quick. While not 4 star it is not a typical chain. Each place within the group has their own feel and may share a few menu options. Overall we love it and would recommend it.
Celebrating Veterans Day
Great food we love Stone Creek
This is our favorite place to eat at. Love the decor, the food is marvelous, the service is exceptional!
The crusted lamb was so tough I could not eat it. My wife had brussel sprouts and they were also tough and she did not eat them. This was the most disappointing meal I have had at this restaurant. If I return and experience the same, it will be my last time.
Service and food was great on an extremely crowded night (Veteran’s Day).
Thank you Stone Creek for honoring our Veterans!
Always a good meal & service. Sad that potato leek soup isn't on the menu or fried shrimp. Crab cake was good but hardly any sides on the plate for the price. I liked the old menu better but still will return. Love the house salad & bread.
Veterans Day meal with family
This is one of our favorite restaurants. They have great food and nice atmosphere and good waiters. What more could you ask for?
Shrimp cocktail was amazing, as was the creme brûlée. The filet was just ok. A bit overcooked, but I chose not to send it back. Our server was wonderful. The bread and oil has kept me coming back to stone creek for 14 years.
Great food, great service and all round great experience!
Overall excellent experience for our 45th wedding anniversary!
When we made our reservation, we requested Table 61 -- and the good news is that we were actually able to get it. (Kudos to the hostesses).
Our waiter "Todd" did a very commendable job -- he is pleasant and outgoing. He made good recommendations. What's more, is he was willing to serve my beer in a room temp glass (as I like it) without arguing or hesitation.
Our food was delivered to the table in a timely manner.
The seafood (salmon) special was over priced at $29. Next time I'll be more careful to ask the price before ordering the special. Live and learn.
We are weekly diners, and Stone Creek is high on our list of upscale restaurants, and we'll continue to see you on Thursday nights from time to time.
Anniversary celebration w friends
Forgot the ketchup:( ! Everything was great though thanks you!
We always go to Stone Creek in Plainfield to celebrate our anniversary.
We like everything about the place.
Husband and I went here to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary and it was unbelievable! Everything was perfect!! Definitely will be back!
Service and staff where great the atmosphere was amazing. They had us seated appropriately for our occasion.
Waiter had no personality, I don't remember him Introducing himself, as far as his name, he did not once smile. I felt rushed when ordering my meal. Don't know why we was rushed ordering, because it wasn't busy at all at 6:45p. Food was cold, veggies was burned. Waiter didn't ask how was our meal. I was just ready to go. No thank you for coming. Didn't deserve a tip but we gave him one anyway. Didn't give my husband his dessert. Happy 19th Anniversary to us!
Great food!! Great staff!!
The menu has changed, and it does not have as many good choices as before. Our dinners were definitely not worth what we paid. My wife’s dinner was very bland and lacked taste. My steak was over cooked and very dry.
We are VIP members and eat at various Cunningham restaurants, but we will not be returning to Stone Creek for a long time.
Loved the interior. Very warm colors and lots of natural looking ( fake ) plants. We were seated around 10 min after our open table reservation. We were upstairs and we were the only table except for a bridal party in the corner. Our server came over took out drink order and came back shortly to take our food order. Server was told about allergies and she did write it down. Once our food came out part had to be sent back because the herb butter had allergens in it. One of our party hunted someone down to tell them. Then the server came back up. She apologized she said she had typed on the order what the allergens were. The kitchen either didnt pay attention or they dont know what is in the herb butter. New food came out fairly fast. Veg was a bit too charred ( asparagus and broccoli ). Steak was good. I assume the bread was good. I'm doing low carb so didn't eat it.
Party of 3.. all ordered filets.. 2- 8oz & 1- 6 oz.. server delivered wrong steaks to all 3 in my party and they were not cooked correctly.. also did not refill my drink but gave 3 refills to another person at my party.. when I asked for a refill he brought me something different than what I ordered
Ellie (or Ella, maybe?) was amazing. I've only been here twice, have had her as my server both times and loved her. I was excited to see it was her taking care of us again. She's on top of her game, down to earth and makes sure everything is perfect while having an awesome sense of humor.
Service was terrible. Food was over cooked and slow. Ordered a ribeye. Was sure it was not a ribeye
Brandon was great a great server. The Food was delicious.
Great food, service and hospitality. Highly recommend!
We chose this Plainfield location because it is about halfway between Bloomington and Indianapolis, about the same drive time for all 7 guests for a 97th birthday celebration. We knew it would be quiet and accessible, both features necessary for a 97 year old with mobility and hearing issues. Our server was exceptionally pleasant and accommodating - really the best part of the experience. I'm sorry I don't remember her name, but this was Sunday afternoon August 25. Please pass along the kudos. The food was fine, and everyone seemed to enjoy their choices. The white chicken chili is always a good choice. Those who ordered steak said it was done just as they wanted it. The carrot cake was fantastic. The squash wellington was inventive and tasted good, but I would probably try something else next time. All in all, everyone agreed it was a successful event. Thanks, Stone Creek, for providing a venue that is quiet enough that an older crowd can actually converse with each other.
Great atmosphere of energy
Everything about Stone Creek screams first class! We love meeting family for fine dining!
Absolutely love coming here for the calamari especially!
