Went for lunch. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was great. Service was OK. Value was good. I’ll be back for sure.
Great as usual
Wonderful & will definitely return!
Service was very slow. It took almost an hour to get our food and the restaurant wasn’t that full. Overpriced for what you get. Trying too hard to be upscale.
Great experience dining on the patio at the new Stone Creek building. The wait staff was excellent and the outdoor patio was super! Food was really tasty also!
Great night and experience!
The restaurant is attractive, but their service is intermittently inattentive- which is disappointing given the prices for lunch. It was fairly busy at lunch, but not so busy to justify the long lags in service. For the price, you would expect getting the orders right, whereas two of our four entrees did not come out as ordered.
Everything was great except the shrimpin the linguini was overcooked
We dined on Wednesday, discount martini night, however server didn't know yet what all martinis were so we had manager correct the checks. Food portions not consistent with the same dish ordered by multiple diners at the same table, which caused some to be upset with the value of their meal. The portion size of salads that were shared was a disgrace!! The new restaurant is lovely but will go for lunch not dinner or stop for cocktails and go elsewhere for dinner. Parking was the best improvement and the outside dining area is great.
I really liked the new, larger facility. However, the noise level was loud.
The noise level from the bar drifted into the dining area, which made quiet conversation difficult. Food and service were good. Overall, I prefer the ambiance of the previous location down the street.
The new building is beautiful !
After work drinks with my friends - great atmosphere, not too quiet that we felt like we were disturbing others
Great food & service
Will be back!
My experience at their new location was much worse than when we had previously dined here before they relocated. The new restaurant has a sterile atmosphere (think: fancy Frisch's) and the service was not particularly great. The food was good overall, but the atmospherics and service were definitely lacking.
We went for several birthdays in our group, food was amazing, and birthday desserts were delish!! Great service
prior to the new location, we've eaten at Stone Creek on numerous occasions. We will not be returning. The food was terrible, the service even worse. 3 of 4 our entrees were pastas. None were cooked nor eaten. The server didn't even notice. We waited 45 mins for the food and not even an apology. Terrible. Prices went up to pay for the new establishment, quality and service went down. Never again.
Spent a very nice Mother’s Day at this new location. Made a reservation, seated quickly and also fast service @ our table with a big crowd. Gary, our waiter, was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and offered several suggestions. Food was excelent !! We shall return !!
Sadly, we were disappointed with our dining experience at the new location. We were excited to eat here as we are at the one in Indian Hill in the Fall. At the new location, The food was average at best. Service was slow. Our table location was in the direct walkway of the outdoor patio and extremely disruptive with wait staff walking past us constantly, doors opening and closing and noise. Finally, we went for a Mother’s Day brunch and learned that the new location did not have a brunch. That was only at the other locations. They offered French toast and hash browns that my son ordered only to find the French toast overdone and very greasy. My salmon salad was also over cooked and burnt on the bottom. My daughters pasta was runny and had very little chicken in it. All in all, a big disappointment with the food as well. Expensive and not worth the cost. We will not be coming back.
Made last minute reservation for Mother's day. Excellent afternoon!
Thoroughly enjoyed the Mother's Day special--Steak Benny and mimosas. A little surprised there was no buffet though.
Bring a fan of Stone Creek for a long time. This was the first trip to the new location.
Unfair to base a review of the place on the experience we had at the Mothers Day "Brunch". The menu was the everyday Stone Creek menu, with eggs Benedict and French Toast the only "brunch"additions. VERY misrepresented as a Sunday morning brunch!
New restaurant seemed very nice, very much larger, but we sat outside on a beautiful Sunday morning so I have no idea about the noise level inside. Servers seemed very ill prepared for this entire brunch idea.
Would not recommend this place for a Sunday brunch, but the food off the regular menu was very good as it always is.
We like this restaurant, we have eaten here many times to celebrate birthday or get together with friends. This is the first time in the new location. The service was a little bit slow, the new place is much larger, so I guess they are still getting used to it. But overall, we had great food, drinks and we had a great time.
new location food sucked compared to old. Not kid friendly menu. Waitress fairly good.
Food took forever on a Saturday nite with 6 people. Guess to be expected.
Would never go back nor recommend. Also only ONE sandwich on dinner menu!!!!
And NO pasta on the dinner menu!!!!!!! Very disappointed. Waitress attentive to refill alcohol drinks not my iced tea glass. The hostess looked me from my top to my flip flops, which if she asked I would have told her I blood clots in my legs. Did not like that at all.
The new location lacks ambiance. Sure, it’s nicely decorated, but it has the look and feel of a retirement home cafeteria. It is extremely loud and not conducive to a pleasant, intimate conversation. The food was mediocre. The service was great, but service alone is not enough to bring me back again. Huge disappointment.
The service at Stone Creek stands out the most. I had a problem with my meal and the server and manager were so understanding and they worked to correct the issue. They were sincere and helpful. Will definitely go back. We love the lively atmosphere, the service, food and I had a great glass of Malbec!
This restaurant was very dark. The bar looked bright and lively, but the other side was almost too dark to read the menu.
The food was very delicious and the service was great.
The kitchen had an off night, as my wife and I both had to send our food back as it was undercooked. That being said, they went above and beyond to make sure they made the situation right. The food is priced reasonably and has great flavor. Hope they are hitting on all cylinders the next time.
The lunch menu was varied and offered the opportunity for small portions. Service was great, we had plenty of time to chat together and eat a leisurely meal. A wonderful experience.
Requested a table with a view of a television to watch the Derby. The request was ignored and they attempted to seat us in the worst table in the restaurant right by the kitchen entrance, with no view of any TV Screen.
We order a nice cheese board. One quarter of the way through, our salads arrived. Salads were returned. When my wife’s fish special arrived, the fish was not special. It was cold on the inside. When the fish was returned heated, the fish again was determined to be not very special.
Overall, we had to work pretty hard to get a decent meal.
Our request for a quiet corner table was honored and we spent a lovely dinner with our out of town friends. The presentation of the food was excellent and it tasted very good. Glad to see more beets in the beet salad. Our waitress seemed new and did not know the answers to our questions about the menu but was very friendly. Although the reservation was made for a birthday - we had to remind her several times. We did not experience the outdoor space but it could use some heavy greenery to protect it from fumes from Montgomery Avenue. We have seen how this is done effectively in Europe.
Good food and ambiance. Great service
Outstanding service and food. Atmosphere was nice but too HOT! Please turn on the A/C!
We had a great time and the ladies want to go back. We will be making another reservation
Love it. Went up there to see a friends band and had dinner outside on the patio. We all had a great time!
Overall, Stone Creek met my expectations. My wife and I were on a date and it was a Thursday from 6-7pm when we were there. Given the time we chose, perhaps it was going to be busy and loud. It was VERY busy and loud. We couldn't hear ourselves talk and there were large groups of ladies chatting and laughing loudly while carrying their wine with glee. I would say, good for them. We might try it again at a different time of day when it isn't so chatty. They almost just need private rooms for those large gaggles of chatterboxes. Atmosphere is So-So, a little bland frankly. All that said, our server was very attentive to us and the food was excellent. They are not shy to use spicy(hot) ingredients - OK w/ me. We had shrimp appetizers, salad, ribs. On the ribs, they were good - they guy next to us saw them and ordered some too.
Extremely loud. Food fair. Walking back to the table from the restroom, 3 different staff members cut me off by walking in front of me.
Don’t think I’ll return.
Our waitress was only there a week-I believe her name was Tara. She was fantastic!! She had many tables and seemed to handle them fine. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the apple wood chicken salad is also quite tasty. We had the calamari for our appetizer and it was delicious. It would be better if the sauce was served on the side vs. smothering the calamari. The carrot cake was a perfect ending. We look forward to dining here again.
Love the new location, food was excellent! We will be back.
Shawn waited on us and made us feel like family. Will defiantly be back and ask for her. Everyone was friendly and food was Amazing!! I highly recommend the steak and must have carrot cake. We cannot wait to go back.
