Stone Creek Inn Ratings and Reviews
We recently enjoyed our first trip to Stone Creek Inn. We happened to dine early which made the Early Bird menu available. This was a great value. I enjoyed the roasted chicken which would have been my choice on the regular menu as well. It was well prepared and we especially enjoyed the rice ball that were one of the accompaniments. The arugula salad with goat cheese, toasted pecans, and beets was delicious. Cappuccino and biscotti finished off the evening. The ravioli appetizer was well prepared and the broth flavorful.
The food and service is always fabulous here. We were lucky they sat us at a great, quiet table off to the side room. The main dining room can get a bit noisy during busy times and they have a section of tables in the middle that are on top of each other which can take away from fun, intimate conversation.
This restaurant has kept it's cuisine at a high level ever since they opened. The food is always fresh & well served.
The ambience is pleasant & the only drawback is the
noise level in the large dining area when crowded.
I will continue to be an ardent fan & come as often as possible.
What a wonderful experience we had. From start to finish the service was impeccable and Sam treated us like loyalty, never was a wine or sparkling water glass empty. The food was wonderful, with one small glitch in that one of our tables rack of lamb came out of the kitchen rare instead of medium. Service was, as always, pleasing. I especially like when a customer walks through the dining room to use the restroom the staff takes a step back to make way for him or her. Portion sizes, which last season were a bit small, are now perfect. We left Stone Creek Inn satisfied and our house guests from out of state were so impressed. Run don't walk to this gem, you won't regret it. Oh, and my strawberry cartwheel left me wanted to cartwheel out of the restaurant, it was yummy! Thank you for a wonderful time.
This restaurant would be a lovely place to have dinner if you could hear yourself think. The noise level is beyond "energetic"--it's unpleasant. If I go back it will be off season and early.
I would rate the food as fair. If the prices were more reasonable, the food would get a better rating but New York City prices for food that is just OK, is not reasonable.
Went on Saturday night - arrived a bit early and they were able to accommodate our reservation from 4 people to 6 and got a round table - front desk could not have been nicer! Food was fantastic -- had something for everyone - meat/fish/vegetarian...service was wonderful. A great evening.
Birthday Celebration - Our #1 restaurant In Suffolk County!!! Excellent food, presentation, service, and atmosphere & well worth the wait for reservations. Brian our server was a gentleman and new the menu from top to bottom. We had... Appetizers – octopus, escargot, Entrées – softshell crab, veal porterhouse, Sides - broccolirob, mac & cheese , Dessert – warm chocolate cake with marshmallow and caramel sauce, Drinks - blood orange martini and Sambuca. Well worth the 💲💲. Highly Recommend!
One of the best restaurants I have eaten out. This should be a must eat stop for anyone summering in the Hamptons. The chefs local flavors are wonderful. I had the duck foie gras and the grilled yellowfin tuna with the sampler for dessert and they were so tasty well prepared and excellent. The drinks were superb from my old fashion with Templeton Rye to my rose wine from Provance. You just have to drink Rose Wine when you are in the Hamptoms. The peppermint tea with desert was grande. The service was excellent. Again one of the best I have eaten in. I cannot wait to return.
