Stone Creek Inn has been one of our favorites for years and again Chef/Owner Christian Mir and his staff, both kitchen and front of the house did not disappoint. This was Restaurant Week and the menu offered a good selection and there were even special priced bottles of wine.
Stone Creek continues to please. The food and service are top notch.
Everything about Stone Creek Inn is consistently outstanding! We have been dining there since they first opened their doors many years ago. The staff is first-rate as is the cuisine. They are always sensitive to any food allergies or dietary restriction. One of the best restaurants on Long Island. Highly recommended!
Outstanding authentic" cuisine francais" without a trip to NYC!
We have been to the Stone Creek Inn many times and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately it is difficult to stay on top without a lot of hard work and training. This time when we entered to be seated, there was mass confusion by the 3 ill trained kids that could not find Table 34 for several minutes.
Once seated, our server Kevin was fairly efficient, although very busy with too many tables to wait on.
We ordered wine and $ 16 cocktails that was quit exorbitant for mostly soda and ice.
Excellent choices of appetizers included a choice of salads and escargot that was superb.
Nice selection of entrees that included rabbit, duck, salmon and chicken. Asking Kevin about the rabbit, how it was prepared, he mentioned that it was only ONE leg of rabbit. ( Come on now, that is unacceptable)
I chose the duck that turned out to be 2 slices of breast meat that was chewy and tough.
Salmon had a fishy odor and taste. unlike what we had enjoyed in the past.
As we ate and looked around we noticed the walls and decor were well worn and in need of an update.
Looks like nothing has changed in 10 years.
The dessert with poached pears appeared to be 2 pieces from a can and loaded with canned whipped cream. Very Disappointing from the fond memories of the past.
Visiting the Men's room, there was a very foul odor, despite some noisy ventilator running.
BOTTOM LINE: It is hard to stay on top without management properly caring for ALL the various aspects that are involved in providing a TOP SHELF restaurant.
Dishes are unique and the taste, quality, and presentation is excellent.
Really did restaurant week well
Food and atmosphere was excellent. Always a memorable dining experience.
Beautiful restaurant, classic good looks. Great food in terms of taste and presentation. Wonderful service. Dinner is expensive but worth it. Drinks are more expensive than they should be. All in all what one should expect in a high end restaurant.
Quality was superb and service was outstanding
Looking forward to our next reservation
Always a perfect dining experience!
Went for Restaurant Week and they had a generous list of entrees. The beef borgonion was excellent! Three of our party who ordered it thought the same. My wife had the duck and it melted in her mouth!
Professional service a step above most other restaurants. Even the valet parking lot people. A great deal on Restaurant Week but we go there other times too. Thank you.
Stone Creek Inn is never ruffled by the crowd on a summer Saturday night or the Restaurant Week rush. Everything is consistently excellent, and the wine list covers the world, including many exceptional and affordable options. This is our favourite East End dining destination.
Even during restaurant week the food is superb and the service flawless. Our favorite local restaurant. We are so lucky to have this nearby!
We were very pleased with ambiance, servers and wonderful cuisine!!
Loved everything except our table so close to the fireplace mantel.
Fantastic food , service and ambience !!
LI Restaurant Week, outstanding value. Excellent food & service, as always. A special night out.
Was seated on time. Service was very good and a great experience. Best value in Hamptons for a high end experience. Would recommend it highly.
food and cocktails superb service excellent definitely 5 star!
HAD A GOOD MEAL DURING RESTAURANT WEEK. THE APPETIZERS WERE EXCELLENT. WAS DISAPPOINTED IN MY MAIN COURSE - FISH STEW...CAME WITH A BOWL OF BROTH AND OVERCOOKED FISH AND SEAFOOD. THE OTHER MEALS AT OUR TABLE WERE SUPERIOR.
EXCELLENT food, service and overall experience. One of the best on Long Island
Have been to Stone Creek Inn many many times. This time we went as part of restaurant week. As usual, the food and service were wonderful.
I dined here a number of times over the last few summers and was never disappointed. The menu selection and quality of the food is second to none. I especially like the salmon crispy rice appetizer and the entree specials are always top notch. The bartender is extremely knowledgeable and has a great drink menu along with an extensive wine selection.Do not miss this spot it’s world class.
Always a great experience at SCI. The food is exceptional, prepared to perfection and great presentation. Stone Creek never disappoints!
Food was good, service was very good. Cozy inn feeling.
Lovely and delicious....
Great service and ambience, a special place.
We’ve been coming here for several years and it is consistently wonderful. Recently, we discovered their Sunday night prix fix menu and we really enjoy all of the items especially the boulliabaise. Service is professional. Food is fresh and delicious. The ambiance is exactly what you want from
a fine dining experience and you can actually have a conversation without having to shout. Highly recommend Stone Creek.
Reliably lovely dinner at this elegant local inn. Our waitress,Liz, was outstanding
Always a great meal, service every time we are there.Consistent time after time, always a treat.
great food, classy place, excellent menu and staff. great wine.
It was great as usual but a little noisy i wear hearing aides and dinner conversation was somewhat difficult . The food was great and service was wonderful ... SEE YOU SOON
First, 5 stars for the lady valet who took our car away. Big smile. Very pleasant and efficient. We were seated promptly, and the table was perfect for conversation as well as ambiance. The three ladies in our party all ordered the Salmon and all raved about it. Two of us men ordered the Halibut and one the Bouillabaisse. Frankly, my halibut was just a tad overcooked, but otherwise quite good. The accompanying vegetables were delicious. Very nice presentation. My two men friends seemed to enjoy their dinners, but neither raved or nor complained. So all in all, it was a successful evening with good wine, good food and good company.
Our table was ready and the food was delicious. I think the prices are high (especially the wine/liquor). A glass of house Pinot Grigio should not be $16. ... and the glass was not filled 3/4. It was a special occasion, but since WE took the couple to dinner, it was over the top and at not so fancy places in Hampton Bays, we got a lot more food for the money we spent Sunday evening for dinner.
I go to the Stone Creek Inn whenever I am in town. The food and service is always consistent and excellent
My husband and myself enjoyed a delicious and a wonderful evening. It was my birthday so it was a joyous occasion.
From start to finish one of the best dining experiences i have had. it can stand up to any fine dining restaurant in NYC. You arrive and the valet greet you, as you enter the hosts greet you with a smile, the bus staff say hello and then Ashley our server was phenomenal. The food was outstanding and we were not rushed even on a Saturday night. The whole service team knew when to come by the table and when not to interfere. We celebrated our anniversary and could not have been happier.
thank you all for a most memorable evening!!!!
The ambiance was great. The steak came very rare, I had to send it back. It came back perfect. Wine list was very good. Busy Friday night made it very loud.
One of our favorite restaurants. Amazing food, wine and service.
Food was excellent. Service outstanding.
