We've been there many times since we bought a home on Long Island about 10 years ago. It's about a 25 min drive from our weekend home in Bellport and always worth the drive. Food, atmosphere & service never disappoints.
I visit the Stone Creek inn often and the food is always excellent and consistent. Service is the best!
Steak was undercooked and we asked it to be Med Rare and it came back Med well. When brought to waiters attention, he did not care
Always great and always feel special when we are there. Thank you so much!
Best restaurant on the east end of Long Island Food, service and bar
Extremely disappointing overall. Food was mediocre at best.
I wish it was less expensive. Enjoyed te price fixed on Thursday though
When I booked the reservation, I entered that it was a birthday celebration. There was no acknowledgement by the waitress or any other restaurant staff about this. I thought that at such a fine dining establishment, my wife’s birthday would have been recognized because of the way I booked the reservation, but I guess I was wrong.
Also, I ordered the seafood bouillabaisse, which is a $44 entree. It was so small, with so little seafood. Very disappointing.
Nice restaurant , nice service , good crowd and not noisy.
Expensive but very good from start to finish!!!
Everything was wonderful
We've enjoyed Stone Creek for many years and never been disappointed. We highly recommend!
After a disappointing Thanksgiving dinner several years ago (They served turkey roll and a very uninspired menu), I was delighted with the choices, preparation and service. I wood ceiling means that the space is going to be to loud. perhaps a retro fit is in order?
we have dined at SC many, many times and have always been very pleased. this evening was another delicious dining experience. i started out with their incredible blood orange martini - soooo good!! i had the calamari salad, which was excellent. the calamari was tender and the ginger dressing was perfect! my husband had the beet salad, with yummy goat cheese, for the umpteenth time!! obviously, it is very good!!! we both then had the bouillabaisse, which was outstanding. the dish was very flavorful and the rouille took it over the top - wonderful! i could put that rouille on everything :-)!! the contents of the bouillabaisse dish was ample for me, however, my husband felt that it was too small of a serving, for a man's appetite. we topped off a lovely meal with an outstanding tiramisu, espresso and coffee!! as always, the staff is professional and attentive. the gal who does the valet is always such a pleasure to deal with!! we will certainly be back soon. thank you.
Stone Creek is my favorite restaurant west of the canal. The price fix is a bargain. Consistently wonderful food and attentive service.
Great food and service! The Prix-Fixe menu is a great value
The food was horrendous I used to love this place but had not been there in 8 years , very upset
Great food every time food spot on and Phil at the bar always makes a great drink
Have been going to SC for years and NEVER disappoints!! Only negative this time was ou table location. It was Valentine's Day at 7pm so they get a pass! 😂 In their defense the hostess was great and let us know that a table near the window would open in 10 min. We just couldn't wait to eat the delicious food!! 😍
Good food, great service, will definitely be back. Loved the ambiance, beautiful.
Nice atmosphere, excellent service, great food.Their price fix is a great deal for what you get.
We thoroughly enjoy the Stone Creek Inn. It's ambiance is wonderful! A warm room, with a fire, on a cold night... ...along with great, interesting food and drink. And, attention from the staff is welcoming. Well done! Thank you
We visit several times a year. Travel east 45 minutes and enjoy the food, service and ambiance. Staff is always welcoming and friendly.
Love this restaurant
We have been dining at Stone Creek for somewhere around 15 years and have never once been disappointed. Actually we were disappointed once because they were out of the "tiny cheese ravioli" appetizer. The service is very professional yet manages to be warm and friendly. We highly recommend Stone Creek.
The entrees were awful.
The duck breast was overly gamey and had a spongy texture like it was a few days past its prime. The orange sauce has no flavor and definitely needed more salt .
The braised rabbit too suffered from a lack of flavor and suspiciously resembled and tasted like a chicken leg. It was served upon a pile of porridge like mush which was called risotto.
Maybe because it was Restaurant Week , but Stone Creek Inn did not live up to expectations.
Service was friendly and efficient, if slightly rushed to push out the early Restaurant week patrons in favor of full paying customers at 7pm.
The fried calamari with frisee salad had perfectly cooked calamari but there was no ginger salad dressing as described.
The gnocchi were light and delicious. Would have liked more than 6 gnocchi on the plate.
The pear sundae and donuts were excellent and the best part of the meal.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The young people providing water, taking plates, etc. were very attentive. The only reason I gave service a 3 is that, after receiving drinks, we sat waiting to order for about 30 minutes.
Food was delicious
Seating was a little too close - no privacy
Over crowded/over booked. Very noisy and tables ontop of each other.Further, when ordered sparkling water ( Pelligrino) the bottle arrived open and no bubbles-just the bottle and probably sitting along time open or tap water. Had to instruct and wait for new bottle to be opened at the table-much attitude of service when requested. Food was prepared well and creatively plated.
Beautiful restaurant with friendly, attentive staff. The food was absolutely delicious! Very intimate setting for a datenight.
Return visit for a great meal as usual at this restaurant
We went during restaurant week. The soup, salad and dessert were delicious. The pasta bolognese was just ok. It was definitely a restaurant week portion, about the size of an ice cream scoop. We had been there before on Valentines Day and loved everything we ordered. Impeccable service, tasteful decor and inviting atmosphere.
We had a wonderful time!!! A cozy fireplace near the bar sets the chic tone at Stone Creek for artful cocktails and vibrant conversation. Dinner was upscale yet comforting...and we loved the fun 80s music playing quietly in the background. My table of 6 enjoyed tuna tartare and various salads to start. Dinner ranged from braised rabbit to beef bourginone to roasted chicken. All around a delicate pear sundae ended the evening. Each bite was worth the next days workout. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to my next meal at Stone Creek.
Loved this restaurant. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. I gave service more stars than are showing on this review but a computer glitch took it off. I can’t wait to go back.
Absolutely amazing meal from start to finish!! Will definitely be back soon!
