Great view. Great service. We met clients for lunch and were very happy with the experience.

I don’t think I can recommend. I have made several reservations before, and also dropped in. Either way, there was always a reason why open window seats weren’t available. I think locals get the good seats. So be it. I have tried to make this a special place for my wife and I but I will go back to City Grill in Portland.

The food was very good and the service, Schanae, was outstanding. We certainly would go again! Summer is even better being outside. The only negative was, after later looking at the bill, (we hosted a party of eight) we were charged for a bottle of wine we had sent back.

It is one of our favorite restaurants! We brought a newlywed couple with us to celebrate.
Our only complaint is sometimes it is quite noisy indoors. Oh..and the lighting. It's a little difficult to read the menu. Still...we love dining at Stone Cliff!

My family had a fine Thanksgiving dinner at Stone Cliff. One question: How could you possibly run out of roast beef by 4p.

What a beautiful place! The ambiance was great. We started off by flustering the hostess. I was told in my confirmation that we would have upstairs window seats. The hostess made it abundantly clear that they don't promise window seats with their reservations. So, no window seats were available. The wait staff was pleasant and attentive. The service was great.

The food was a major disappointment. The turkey was not "real" turkey, but a pressed turkey roll, and the garlic mash tasted like it was made from boxed rather than real potatoes. All the food was under- spiced, and no salt or pepper were available on the table. Even the salad dressing was bland. The hazelnut encrusted chicken looked like the crust was burnt on the outside and doughy in the middle. It also lacked flavor, and my son had to remove it from the chicken for it to be edible. He also had the garlic mash and had the same experience that I did there; they tasted like instant potatoes out of a box. We might fo back some time for drinks, but we will never eat there again. We hoped that the high prices for the food would be justified; it was not.

Sat for over an hour and watched other tables get orders and they came in over 30 min behind us. Had our order changed 3 times by management twice they ran out and the other time food was dropped and they had no more. We had been here before and this time surly not happy. This was brought to the attention of the manager and they offered to pay the bill. That was fine but he also yelled at our waitress who gave us great service. It wasnt her fault.

The turkey just didn’t cut it - nice ambience and excellent service - have been there before and food was great -being a really good cook and my first thanksgiving out - I’ll do my own!!!

I will sincerely recommend Stone Cliff to anyone for a nice or special night out. The food did not disappoint and was absolutely worth it's price. We appreciated the quality and the PNW ambiance, where you can dress up or not and still feel at ease. My family took me there for my birthday a couple weeks ago and I took my Boyfriend there for his birthday on the 27th of November, 2019. He said "it was wonderful" and that's not a common phrase from him :) Thank you!

We love coming to the Store Cliff. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is good, and the servers are wonderful - probably the most warm friendly that I've had the pleasure of dining with in a very long time. The smoked salmon chowder is amazing!

The menu selections are exceptional and food was delicious.

Lunch was incredible. Service was amazing. We will definitely be back for dinner and in the summer to enjoy the outdoor seating. We live in McMinnville, and will have no problem making the drive to enjoy this again.

Stonecliff is my favorite restaurant! Great food, great service, great people, great location! My wife took me their this past Thursday for my birthday and it was wonderful as always!

We were put on the back wall left of fireplace and could hardly see anything, including menu. Suggest a better candle or light,,after awhile we did get used to it but it could have been better

First time going to this restaurant. Beautiful location with great views. Cocktails are a little expensive. Food was good, we had steak and ciopino. Waiter was superb and attentive. Will go back.

My only true disappointment is getting these OpenTable spams. I just wanted a reservation, not a new relationship with a marketing firm that doesn't offer an obvious opt-out. Please take me off your marketing list.

We love the restaurant and the food! The only problem every time we go it is so hot in there!

This was our first time to your restaurant and we were celebrating a 75th birthday. The food did not taste very good, small portions for the price, and I felt sick when I arrived home. We wanted a special place to have a small celebration. The location is lovely, but quite loud. The prices were too high for the quality and quantity of food.

Brenden was our server. He was very knowledgeable and nice and made great recommendations for our dinner. This is our second time at Stone Cliff. We returned because the food choices are good and taste great. Plus the prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for a quiet dinner this is not it. But if you want a great view (when the weather is nice), good food and a reasonable price, this is the place to go.

Great day and experience at Stone Cliff!! Can’t wait to go back and have a BIG bowl of salmon chowder!!!

We brought family here who had never been before. It was incredible, and they loved it! Brendan made our evening wonderful, from wine recommendations to his humor and professionalism. My husband had the ribs which literally fell off the bone. I had the scallops which were so tender and flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Stone Cliff is our go-to for date nights, birthdays, anniversaries, and taking out of town guests. We love it! Keep up the good work. (For newcomers, start your meal with the salmon chowder, and end it with the bread pudding - heavenly).

This was our first time here, and it won't be our last, despite the 90 minute trek... We had an excellent glass of wine, a Bruschetta that was one of the best we've ever had, one of the best steaks we've ever had, and two desserts to die for.

There is dessert that I love, but I usually find lacking - bread pudding. I've had it all over the country for more than 50 years. My benchmark, strangely enough, was served in the company cafeteria by the company I worked for from 1980-86. It is my perfect 10, and until this dinner, the closest anybody has come was an 8.5 maybe... There was always something just not quite right. Well, Stone Cliff Inn's bread pudding gets an 11. Not only was everthing perfect, it was elevated to a new level I did not think was possible... WOW!

I have one and only one complaint, and it is at least partly on me. I'm a vegetarian who goes Vegan more often than not. The options are very limited at the Stone Cliff Inn. I got the Garden Bowl. It was sensational. If I had asked, I'm sure they could have come up with a couple of side options. But, that being said, with that bread pudding, I was a very happy camper.

Had lunch with a friend

The food, view, service and ambiance is ALWAYS great at Stone Cliff. I love the relaxed feeling while dining and the service was timely and proficient. I had the Fish & Chips and my friend had the Rueben. Both menus were very filling and the dessert (berry strudel ??) was so yummy - just like eating a homemade berry pie with ice cream!

The view from here is beyond compair. If all they served was a bowl of cereal I would still go there for the atmosphere. Great menu. I've been here a number of times. The food has always been great. Today I didn't want much so ordered appetizers...serf 'n turf skures. Delicious. The beef was tough but fantastic flavor.

Fast service, since we had two little ones, was really helpful, table was ready, waiter was great, food was delicious. I have nothing negative to say.

Brendan made our dinner experience a delightful one, and the bartender made the most exceptional version of a tiramisu martini that I have ever had.

This is now one of my all-time favorite restaurants. I loved the building, the view, the setting, the ambiance, the food, the service and the casual elegance. I'll be back!
