Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens Ratings and Reviews
The food at Stone Brewing was really good! Though not a ton of options for gluten free or vegetarian, they do have some (either or, not both). Their beer list is extensive and they have cider and Booch Craft on the menu for gluten free peeps as well. The real thing that would bring us back, though, is the service. Our server was over-the-top fantastic and everyone we encountered was friendly. We would return based solely on the customer service. It also helps that the patio area and ambiance is incredible! We really enjoyed our visit and were glad we made reservations.
Decent food, but sh*t service by the hostess ‘team.’ We got there early for our 4:45pm reservation (20 mins early) and noticed that there were 15-20 open, empty tables. There was no one else waiting, so we asked to be seated early if possible. I was condescendingly told ‘we’ll try.’ I provided my cell number to them and was told they’d text when our table was ready. Fast forward 1 minute before our reservation time, and voila! We are finally seated...at one of the tables that was sitting open for the past 20 minutes!
That experience certainly colored my impressions of Stone Brewery, but I tried to keep an open mind for our table service, which was nothing special but not bad either. The non-IPA beer was just not good, so if you’re going to Stone hoping to see what else they can do with beer besides their IPAs, you might be disappointed.
Overall, I would not go back largely due to the indifferent, condescending, and rather incompetent hostess staff. If there are more than a dozen empty tables and your reservation is politely asking to be seated early, either be honest that you won’t, or actually seat us. It would have been no sweat off their backs and it would have kept some customers happy.
We visited for my birthday, being a big fan of craft beers and Stone Brewing being the beer of them. We visited with our children (4 and 2) and they both loved the place. After eating, we walked through the gardens and it was so much fun!
Cherry, who tended to us was amazing, giving me great recommendations for beers to try. Can’t wait to visit there soon again.”!
Never fails to disappoint day or evening. If you go during the day the atmosphere is mellow and relaxed. In the evening it has this romantic feel with the fire pit and the hanging lights in the garden next to the pond. Kid friendly too! Drunk husband, wild children, setup for great memories! By the way don't forget to schedule a reservation unless you want to wait over an hour to eat.
Overall this place is really nice, the food is a bit pricey for the size, but the taste is amazing. The service was good after we sat down, but the wait was no good, we even had a reservation and the people that showed up after us with no reservation were seated before us. That was a annoying to watch.
We ran a little late from he Farmers Open, but they were still able to seat us right away.
Sitting at one of the tables right next to the main path through the dinning room may have not been the best location, but made it interesting to hear all the different conversations from other guests arriving and leaving.
Unfortunately, the food was very mediocre. The ambience was fine and the service was adequate although not great, but the food was just not satisfying. On top of that, there was a mouse running across the floor throughout most of our dinner. We found it more amusing than frightening, but it was there nonetheless.
The service was a bit off meaning it seemed to take a while for the food to come out. It was a busy night and when the food did arrive it was excellent! The beer, of course, is why you come and their selection was great. I would recommend this place and using OT is the way to go!
Always a wonderful dining experience! Can't beat the beautiful gardens, our server was attentive and accommodating, so many great menu choices and everything was hot and delicious. One in our group thought her tacos were dry, and not very flavorful. The food runner seemed challenged to figure out how to accommodate her, and thus the 4-star instead of 5. As an aside, 2 of us have had the same meal in the past and did not share that experience.
Very nice experience on a rather cold day. Heat lamp kept us comfortable outside. Service was excellent. Just the right amount of attention at just the right time. Only complaint is the same as always: the chairs are unbelievably uncomfortable. Maybe we stayed too long. Meeting friends again this Sunday and we look forward to it. Stone is our “go to” place now for meeting friends from SD. Hey the beer ain’t bad either. How about some cask English style ales in the 4-5 ABV range?
Dining here is unexpected, from the industrial building facade, to great craft beer choices, the vegetarian and gluten free options and the beautiful gardens and conversation fire pits. The Fuego Burger is great and most people would not guess its vegetarian!!
