Truly outstanding menu, beers and service. Really cool outdoor patio.
This place was very cool very dark gave me a vampire feel! Which I’m totally into so we loved it ! The only problem was after a few drinks I spent 75 bucks in the store yikes !
The menu felt pretentious, the waitress was cold, and we were very disappointed that both burger options were meatless which seems weird for a restaurant centered around a BREWERY.
Great food and venue however food and beer a bit more on the expensive side.
We had a great meal, with great service.
The food was way too pricey for the small plates. But the beer and atmosphere were great :) would recommend just for beer and appetizers sort of party
Wonderful facility. We didn't appreciate how huge it was until we were leaving. Would be a great place for groups and onsite taps - and vegans. We were visiting the Liberty Station area to see an art exhibit and fly out the following day. It wasn't the burgers we were anticipating to go with the Stone Brews. My husband had the tempeh burger and I had a pork loin entree. The pork loin had only a trace of the sweet potato on the menu but the flavor of the sauce was wonderful, loin okay. The brownie and icecream we shared for dessert had too much too sweet whipped ?cream? on top. We had some taps from the onsite brewery that aren't bottled and distributed, so that was a treat.
Got a beer flight which I highly recommend. The waitress was very helpful and the seafood was excellent.
Overall great service and great food. Will definitely be going back again.
Service was great and the food was amazing!
The poor service only exacerbated the poor quality of the food and food choices and the high prices didn't help either - would never go back!
Our server Austin was fantastic and not afraid to make recommendations on food or beer. A really good experience.
The experience was amazing. Started out with a flight (enough for two people), had the cheese sandwich lunch which came with a tomato soup and salad- definitely enough to fill you up. My boyfriend got a burger with potatoes and that was delicious as well. Definitely planning to come back for another lunch or dinner date. Right in the heart of liberty station so it's beautiful!
only the most scrumptious buffalo cauliflower I have ever eaten along with charred brussel sprouts, warmed the heart of this cruciferous addict. lamb shank falling off bone with excellent reduction. the choc brownie sundae drowned in whipped heavy cream was nothing short of luscious.
Me + beer, not so much, so you know I go there for the fab food! My companions however, got it on with an assortment of beer and a good time was had by all.
Good food, awesome beer! Definitely recommend a visit
Two out of five in our party got sick!
On vacation in San Diego. Enjoy the many brew pubs that abound. Have had Stone IPA in NY so we thought we’d try the brewpub. Beer and food were awesome in a beautiful garden- like setting.
It was a spacious and quiet restaurant
Spectacular indoor/outdoor restaurant! Always terrific.
We had a great time - wait staff was attentive, the beer and food were great, an all-around good time!
Very nice private seating area next to the fire place. Perfect for date night!
Trecked to SD for a conference and had to hit Stone. The restaurant blew my mind! The beers brewed on site are great and a few are only available on location. We will be back in the summer to take advantage of the outside seating!
The impossible burger was surprisingly good. I didn't order it and only briefly looked at the description before trying it. The taste and texture was like a hamburger patty, but on further reading there's apparently no meat in it. The rest of the food was pretty good, but I have to admit I was there for the beers. I shared 2 flights with my extended family of varied tastes and we all found a few beers we really liked. If I lived in or near SD I'd be a regular.
We went for the beer, of course, but the food was great, too. I ordered the lamb shanks; they were so tender, they fell off the bone. The tomato soup was good, but my husband's soup was delicious! (Sadly, I don't remember what he ordered, but it was the one other than tomato.)
We will definitely go again.
The food is not that great, especially the flavors is off on every dishes. If you want to go there for the beers it a great place. But if you are a food fanatic this is not the place to be.
Great fish, great beer flight of IPAs. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful.
Outstanding food. Very modern! Went twice during my 5 day visit to San Diego! The bathrooms deserve a second look!!!
Our waiter was excellent. Menu items were expensive and the portions very large - options for smaller portions would be good. Also, ketchup for the children’s menu would be a great addition. There were areas for kids to hang out without bothering people which was nice for us. I came for the beer and that was great! I’ll return for that but I don’t know if I’ll order food again unless there are some changes to the menu.
The environment and food was spectacular, would definitely take the drive down there again!
We sat inside and were very pleased with the relative quietness of our booth given that the ceilings are high and the space cavernous. I had a tasting flight of Stone beers which was a lot of fun. The homemade pretzels with mustard and fondue are incredible!
I’m so glad my friends and I chose to have Sunday lunch at Stone Brewing World Bistro. We sat outside next to an outdoor waterfall. The service was extremely friendly and attentive and the food and beer was delicious. We all had a great time and left in good spirits!
This a wonderful place to dine at. Great atmosphere and great service. Everytime that I go to San Diego from now on I will go to Stone Brewing.
Great Gastropub in the Liberty Station. Nice beer list and wine on tap, which is the favorite for me. Food is also tasty and all the wait staff are very helpful and knowledgeable
Great outside seating. Delicious food! And great beer! If only the airplanes taking off went so frequent.
Always have a great time at this location and the flagship. I even dig the pasadena outlet for just beer. Quality operation...
Great place with excellent food.
We had a large party and were able to make a late reservation. The hostess greeted us and we were sat when everyone in our party arrived. Our waitress was great and was very attentive. She also gave suggestions for food and drinks. The food was really tasty and everyone enjoyed their meals. I took one star off because the food wasn’t really warm but we did have a large party. The ambiance is really something to see and you must walk around.
We had a reservation for 6 at 11:30. The restaurant had just opened. Four of us sat down and waited for the other two. 20 minutes later no server had even acknowledged us. When our waitress came she apologized, her shift had just started, so there was a mix up. The rest of the time she was a very attentive server. She was excellent actually. Manager got apologized and they gave us an appetizer and drinks were on them to apologize for the mix up. Thy went over the top to apologize which I really appreciated. The food is very good and plenty of houses for beer, ciders, wine and cocktails. We sat outside which was fabulous. Overall a great experience!!
The ambiance and service is great. Excellent beer options. The food is very good, but not life changing. However, the pricing is out of control. $17 for a veggie burger, $22 for udon noodlea... the pricing does not make sense given the food quality and complexity. Again, the food is very good, but not “$20 per lunch entree” level good. I would come here far more often if the price of every dish was reduced by 25%.
