   It's a bummer to go out for a nice dinner and to have to order with a QR code. It takes so much longer and you can't ask your waiter a question. There were some glitches with the ordering system too, which was frustrating. (And I'm in my 30's and good with technology.) The servers did check in with us and they were friendly, but the whole experience would have been much better if they'd just taken our order.

   It was great except you order everything your self as the wait staff are more like store clerks providing information only if you ask them and only if they are around. The food was excellent and so was the beer. We were seated outside and it was cold but they have several heat lamps. Not sure 22% tips are worth it anymore although I still paid it. Don’t get me wrong the wait staff is helpful but I’m a different way post Covid lock downs

   A beautiful place to spend an evening. The atmosphere is very cozy and warm- even sitting outside on a cold night! Don’t worry, they have heaters. Stone beer is some of the very best in the country and their food is amazing. Their servers are so friendly and they communicate instead of just leaving you wondering what is going on. This is a destination stop for us when we are visiting family in Escondido.

   The food was great, we had the poke nachos and rib appetizers, then the Korean fried chicken sandwich, fruity goat salad, and the fish and chips for entrees. Everything was delicious. The only downside was we were seated outside though it was a cold night. There were plenty of empty tables inside and it was a slow night overall. Also they now default to scan a QR code and order through your phone. We said no to that and they were very nice about providing full wait service instead. I'm not sure if they are still afraid of COVID, but between the outside seating and the QR code, it's possible. But at their prices, I expect actual table service. We went through three heaters but once the third was full of propane, the heat was adequate that we could take off our coats. It was our friend's birthday, which I'd indicated on the Open Table reservation, but nothing was mentioned about it. I'd go back for dinner but I won't choose Stone again for a special occasion until I know it'll be a better experience.

   Hidden gem in an industrial area. Must visit if you're in the area, good food, fun environment and beautiful surrounding.

   I made reservations for my 50th birthday, (which they knew) and was very disappointed in how much this restaurant has gone down hill in the last couple years. They sat us in a horrible table with a bright light shining on us, so we asked to move. Then we were moved to a large patio in the middle of 10 screaming kids running around. They knew I was celebrating my birthday, and I felt they didn’t do anything to acknowledge this. The ordering system was ridiculous, food was ok. Not a great experience

   First, we were walked out to patio to sit and I had to remind them I reserved an indoor table. Then, we discovered we have to scan a QR and order/pay through my phone. When I go out to eat, I want to be served and interact with someone...not order myself on my phone and have to text for extra napkins, etc. Then, when our food arrived -- all of it was cold. Not just not hot, but cold to the touch--cheese unmelted on sandwiches. Macaroni was cold. Our attendant stopped by to check on us and we told her it was cold. She got the manager who was very nice and apologetic and he comped our food. So, we appreciated that he tried to make it right. Finally, I texted for some to-go containers and our attendant, who was at the next table, never brought them. After 10 minutes, my husband walked back and into the kitchen to ask someone. We only come to town at Thanksgiving and have always come here (for 8 or 9 years) and have always had a great experience. I don't know what happened to this place, but we all agreed that we didn't want to come back here again.

    Steak was delicious and a good value. The fries were perfectly hot and crisp Hanna was our server and she was great. She helped us with the new ordering system but ultimately we opted to have her take our order as it was much easier.

    The grounds were closed for a private event. I wish they would have told us we would have gone somewhere else. This is the only reason we booked here. The service was not great. We had several different servers but no one really served us. We requested a heater several times and they finally got us one right before we were leaving. Also we were there celebrating a birthday. I told every server we had asking if they did anything special they told me they would bring out a dessert with a candle and after telling them All we never received this and then finally just left. Disappointing visit. We go for the fun grounds so the kids can play while we visit. We thought this would be a fun place to celebrate my brother in laws birthday.

    Great time as always at Stone Brewery. Had a lunch scheduled with Co-workers and just an awesome venue to unwind and talk about our craft and other things. Great team building and camaraderie.

    They use QR code/menu for ordering so you can't ask questions and they require you to enter you mobile number and email on a website along with you're credit card information. So the service is almost nonexistent, they just bring you food and check on you, and you have to give up personal information. Don't go at night when it's cold outside. It's freezing inside, they don't keep the heat on.

    It was a good time. The venue is beautiful. Hostess was not very welcoming as she wanted half of our party there before seating us even though I made a reservation. It was after work and we had several people coming at different times. It was also weird not having an actual server to monitor the table for drinks and personalized service. Food was really good.

    Nothing special about the food; never seem to come away with accolades about the food. Atmosphere and beer great; will go again, but not to eat. Needs a menu revamp; food that’s just OK doesn’t cut it. Service improved; at least you can order from a server now.

    For making a reservation for an inside table (we knew it would be cold outside) we were sat directly next to an open door to the patio. It took at least 10 minutes for our server to greet us. After she initially did, it was another nearly half hour to order drinks. When we asked her about the wait, she made it seem like that was normal, or we could use the QR code to order?? The whole thing was confusing. We got there at 615 and they closed at 9. The service was so poor that we sat there alone in the restaurant until 920 (after they closed) and had to ASK for the bill. Normally I wouldn’t complain about a wait because were visiting with friends and weren’t in a hurry, but that was a little crazy.

    The service was awesome. Elizabeth and her co-workers too excellent care of us. Cannot praise enough! The ambience, seating arrangement was as good as ever. Beer selection was top notch!

    Using the phone to order meals is very impersonal and seems like a cost cutting scheme rather than providing excellent service in a service industry. The Koran BBQ chicken sandwich was very dry - should come with some type of dipping sauce or sauce on the sandwich. Unfortunately, I will not be back anytime soon and can't recommend it to my friends or family.

    We come here very often but today's service was really slow. Our waitress hardly came to our table and we had to ask other waitresses to help us. Hopefully next time we will have better luck.

    Loved the ambiance, definitely worth the trip for anyone that loves the beer! The whole atmosphere is so relaxing and lovely! Delicious food- must try Mac cheese, fruity goat salad- love love! The tour of the facility is learning and good experience! Our tour guide Raina was very knowledgeable and entertaining! Thank you for amazing experience

    Went here with a group of 6, they got 4/6 orders wrong including serving a real meat burger instead of a vegan burger. Servers constantly blamed us for placing the order wrong which wasn't correct. Due to phone ordering it was difficult to get staff to correct orders. Overall, I will not be returning here.

    1 - Starting with arrival - 6:30 reservation, arrived at 6:28, seated at 6:45 2 - Requested an inside table...taken to an outside table...when I mentioned that no move by hostess to accommodate our request 3 - Instructed by hostess upon being seated to scan QR code to view menu and place order. This was a business dinner w/5 people and one bill. Requested to have order taken by a "live" person, which was probably a mistake. 4 - Placed our drink orders...waited...waited...waited...no drinks after 30 minutes...saw several tables seated well after us receive their drinks. When we mentioned this to our server, she mentioned that the bar was backed up. We pointed out that several tables seated AFTER us already had their drinks she got snippy. 5 - Placed food order...same thing...waited...waited...finally received our drinks...waited...waited...waited for our food. At this point, we had been there for well over an hour. 6 - The manager came over to apologize (thank you) and comp'd our initial round of drinks, which we appreciated. Ordered another round of drinks and finally received our food...which was COLD...cold fries (yuck!) and lukewarm hamburger. The best part of the meal was the salad and the beer (once we received it). Need I say more! Obviously, we will not be back any time soon.

    Fish and chips was great ! We also had a giant pretzel, Brussel sprouts , chicken wings and many other items including beer everything was wonderful . One burger came out after everyone was waiting there meals good burger just late but server made it right. Will definitely go back .

    Great food and awesome service. There was an issue with our dessert but the manager handled it very well and was so kinda. Definitely be going again. Beautiful garden and the heat lamps kept us warm since we went late.

    Beautiful environment. But, there are no waiters. We were told we could order separately for each couple (2 orders) at same time to avoid dividing a bill. We did that, but no effort was made to bring orders together, despite having a # on table. The second order came 10-15minutes later than 1st one. Our food got cold waiting for theirs. I told waitress there was double order on one dish, she saw problem & she said she’s fix it. She did not. At the end they tried to fix it on the check but it came out wrong. Still not resolved. Neither couple will ever go there again. Neither couple would ever go there again.
