Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens
Wow, we picked the best beer and menu: Woot Stout with the charcuterie platter, ribs, brussel sprouts, salad, salmon, and the brownie sundae for dessert. Every bite was heavenly.
I was surprised that the dinner menu was pretty limited. Though it was tasty (my husband ordered the Impossible Burger), I ended up ordering from the appetizer menu. The beers were either limited or they ran out. My guests had to go for their 3rd beer choice. There was only 1 porter available and the stout was unavailable. The food is good - especially the baby back ribs and Brussels sprouts appetizer. The brownie dessert was huge and the whipped cream was on the tart (?) side. Tasted like there was Fage yogurt on it ... a little weird. Otherwise, I would go back another time.
Perfect venue. Staff was courteous and attentive. Food was fresh and beer was perfectly chilled. Arrived and did not have to wait long for our table. Stone is outstanding and I am already counting down the days till I get to eat there again.
Great experience will definitely come back again. .
The Bistro and Gardens have such an awesome ambiance! Service was excellent for a Saturday. I liked my gourmet chef's dish salmon with kale and roasted squash. But my husband and our friends had hoped for a hamburger or prime rib sandwich. They ordered the Impossible burger, which wasn't crisp and quite gooey with just aioli and no lettuce or tomato. My husband says we won't be going back until they expand the menu. Disappointing, since I love this venue and my upscale dish was great. Please consider adding a regular old-style burger and prime rib sandwich. Thanks!
Stone is a great place to go out for the evening. We had a guest from out of state visiting and figured this was a great place that they would not have am equivalent place back in Minnesota.
We had a great time at Stone this weekend. We are inside then let the kids play outside. The staff were helpful the entire time!
The beer tour was awesome, as was the beer selection in the Bistro. But the food was "weird" - we'd have much preferred more traditional brewery fare - and the service was super-slow. (Like 30+ minutes from order to delivery of our nachos appetizer.)
Super fun thing to do with out-of-town guests after a day walking around the Safari Park. Will definitely come back during the day for a late lunch to take advantage of the gardens!
Kevin was totally rad, man.
That's all I have to say but you want at least 50 words...
Great atmosphere. Can be busy. Outside seating has fire pits. Vegetarian options seem plenty to the point the burger is. Ordered the Nachos starter as my entree as it was really large and really good. Of course great beer selection and other drinks like wine. The brownie desert is very large more like for 2+ people. Good service.
Need to expand your menu.
The pretzel should be a regular pretzel. Not very good in it’s present state.
How about a quality cheese fondue?
Space is beautiful. Food and service not so good. Very bland food.
Our outstanding service made all the difference in our experience! We came at peak dinner hour with 4 adults and 3 kids under 5 (talk about a recipe for a maybe disaster). Our server engaged the kiddos and went above and beyond.
I love the atmosphere and enjoyed the meal.
Horrible service waited 45 mins for our food not a busy night food was ice cold never having dinner there again didn't even offer to discount the bill asked if we wanted them to remake it and what wait 45 more mins for food NOT really sad since we were celebrating 2 birthdays which they knew of and did nothing for not even happy birthday out of there mouth... pretty property though too bad
Great food & drinks especially beer.
Cool place to visit.^^
Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens is Escondido is a totally unique experience. We drove from Orange County to meet family members for a birthday dinner and it was worth the drive. Everything was exceptional. The gardens and overall ambience are beautiful. It was like entering a secret garden. Our appetizers and entrees were out of this world. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Took clients for the gardens and beer for the birthday boy! Nice lunch.
We visited the brewery bistro and gardens and have to say it was AWESOME! The facility, food and staff were exceptional and let’s not forget the beer!! Would highly recommend that anyone visit STONE BREWERY..have been to both the Richmond and Escondido locations and am extremely satisfied.
Always consistent. Great food, service, food, and beer.
Birthday. Fabulous meal & Awesome service!
Outstanding beer, wine, and food options in a family friendly, relaxing environment.
We decided to stop in for a family date night since we hadn’t been in awhile. Stone is a consistent experience. The food is always good, the drinks are never under-poured, they are always welcoming to families with kids, and the service is on top of things. Between the bars, inside seating, outside seating, and gardens you’ll be hard-pressed to find a spot unfitting for any occasion.
What a perfect day, absolutely beautiful and relaxing. We sat outside and were surrounded by coy fish ponds and waterfalls. We drove from Phillips Ranch and it was worth the drive.
Service was outstanding and friendly and our lunch was delicious!
I enjoyed my experience very much however I really wish they would consider having 3oz taster pours instead of the 5oz. I thought the deviled eggs were a bit over seasoned and I don’t think the romesco was quite correct. The honey siracha quail legs were quite amazing, and I really enjoyed the sprouts. Make sure you save room for the sublime blueberry blue cheese jalapeño cheesecake.
The place is really nice! Love the ambience and the beautiful garden and the koi pond. However, $90 for lunch is just outrageous! The food was ok and the
Menu had very limited options. 2 burgers, 2 appetizers, 1 kids Mac n cheese, 1 beer and 2 drinks was $90. I had the impossible burger which was delicious but again, $16 is too expensive.
An impressive destination but service and kitchen are extremely slow.
Enjoying dining outside. The food was great and the stouts we had were amazing. Looking forward to going back soon. The staff and is both friendly and helpful.
A great place for family and friends for any occasion. We even saw a wedding.
We had a great time at Stone in Escondido. Actually, Stone never disappoints! We all had something different: grilled cheese w/short rib, Mac & cheese wi5h broccoli, stir fry, and carnitas tacos. Oh, we had the pretzel and Brussels sprouts too. EVERYTHING was delicious. We all have different taste in beer, and so we had some flights and ordered a couple of beers on tap. Yummy! We went with friends who had never been on the tour, so after our delicious dinner, we were able to go on the last tour of the day. My husband and I had been on the tour several times before, but we learn something new every time.
Great spot, menu is a little limited though. Everything was good, but some people had trouble with limited lunch menu.
What a cool restaurant. Short menu but all great choices, about half are vegetarian. The brussel sprouts appetizer was so good we ordered a second for the table and could have eaten a third except our meal was already there to distract us. Great beer choices - both the menu and the beer choices regularly change. Take the walk through the garden - its worth it! Look around, there are interesting things in every corner, inside and out. And a cool store where you can buy gargoyle shirts and full growlers to go.
The restaurant was beautiful and had a great feel however I felt the menu was a bit weak. No beef burgers available or other food that I would expect to see on a bar menu. The server was very good.
Haven’t eaten at Stone for awhile. Still love the venue and the beer... the food is still just ok! Keep wishing they would add a few bar menu staples.
Marissa our server was top notch, so polite, informative, timely. Our 1st visit for daughters 29 yr old bday, and loved that there were no TVs. Many vegetarians in our group, and Marissa informed us of many options. 100% loved everything.
The place looks amazing!!! I even loved the drink menu! Great detail through out the whole place. I only two complaints. While the food we actually had was great it was a very limited menu. I was very impressed by the kids menu. My child had the grilled cheese. It was amazing! My other complaint was there was no ketchup. They didn’t serve it because ketchup has high fructose corn syrup. I totally understand the reasoning but wish they had a house ketchup or an alternative. The server did bring us some extra aioli which was fantastic! Our server was so nice! We loved her!
Beer = 5 stars
Food = 3 stars (small portions for high price) but good food
Beer Garden = 5 stars
We had a great time at the Stone World Bistro and Gardens. The brewery tour was fantastic (shoutout to our guide Noah for all the detailed info).
The food was very good as well and my party enjoyed their dinner. We ordered the ice cream sandwiches for dessert and were a little disappointed in these. The cookies were only ok and the ice cream-to-cookie ratio was too small. After dinner we walked around the gardens which are so cool. Definitely a must-stop location when in North County.
The service was great! The outdoor seating area is beautiful at night and great for conversation or celebrating a special celebration. I highly recommend!
