We always loving eating here. They have a great menu and obviously tons of drink options. We love to sit outside with the views of the gardens and ponds.
As always, Stone was awesome. The Short Rib grilled cheese is now my favorite. Get the pretzel to start, along with the quail knots.
Great service and food. I had the ribeye which was cooked to my expectations.
Waiter was great, food and beer were great, the hostess was rude, there was no parking.
The tour was fantastic and the service in the shop area was excellent! We did the tour on a Saturday from 4 pm - 5 pm right before our dinner reservations at 530 pm and it worked out perfectly!
That service compared to the service and food in the restaurant was disappointing. The food was good, but nothing to rave about. The Shrimp Ceviche appetizer was the best part of the meal. We had the Salmon, Ribs and Mac N Cheese as our entrees, pretty basic. Opted for the brownie dessert but sent it back because the brownie was hard and dry. The restaurant did not seem to be to busy, however we waited a while in between empty drink refills.
We will be returning for the great Stone beers, the amazing atmosphere of the bar and garden areas, and definitely another tour.
I had said it was for a special Birthday—-received no acknowledgment of that by staff—-Would have been nice if server wished my nephew that who just got out of military a happy Birthday but nothing —oh well. Loved the food & atmosphere.
Cool place food average beer great
Great beer selection. Good food
Recommended to go here as we were visiting the area. Craft Brewery - did not do the tour but would have enjoyed that.
Very pretty outside space, inside is sort of industrial in appearance but you get to see the large vats and the brewers behind the open wall of glass which was very cool.
Food was OK- Sriracha quail knots were VERY spicy (we were warned). We are not spicy folk but wanted to try them. I think if you like heat these are very good- texture, and cook on the meat was nice. We just could not handle the spice. Ribs were a were good. Caesar salad was just ok. Beer selection was extensive and interesting.
I would return but would also want to try other options in the area.
The food menu and beer menu are both diverse, interesting delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive. We will tell our friends.
WE have loved Stone and the food for years. Not so on my birthday. The food was the worst we've ever had. We told the waiter and at least his manager did comp the appetizer. The service and beer were good but the food ruined my special bd dinner. Won't do that again.
They must have changed chef's since this one liked to char things and the food was not well prepared. Hope they correct it.
Great food (farm salad, Bavarian pretzel) and beer flight options (destination flight). Film crew was on site and all staff was accommodating and professional. Service was spectacular, can’t wait to come back.
I met a friend for lunch. We ate out in the very lovely garden patio. We found out from our very helpful server, that we could sample a variety of beers. The beer and food was promptly delivered and delicious. The menu very interesting. Highly recommend.
Sunday afternoon brunch was a disappointment since we came here to take advantage of their brunch menu which we found out they no longer have. Their delicious portobello mushroom sandwich, spinach/barley salad & olives are 3 items they no longer have.
This place is great! That's all I have to say. :-)
The Vegetarian impossible burger and potatoes were delicious!
I always love going to Stone.
I have eaten here several times and every time seems better than the last. By nature I am careful with my food dollars so entrees of $20r so are not that frequent of a purchase of mine but we were all very happy and satisfied with our choices - duck tacos, short rib grilled cheese and a bruschetta sandwich. Portions were good sized and everything was fresh and tasty. Oh, don't forget to order the brussel sprouts!
Had a fabulous time. Food and service was exceptional!
The food has always been very good and the beer is the best.
Excellent spot for a meeting, to meet friends, to enjoy the garden, sample the beers, have a great chat. Food is very interesting and certainly not the standard off the menu fare. The setting is beautiful and worth the trip.
Amazing Place. Great Craft Beer. Great Food, Great Service!!!
Laura was great. Excellent food and environment. Great for the in-laws first visit!
I was really looking forward to this place. Planned a "get away" with my fiance' for her birthday. We drove about 2 hours to be in this area with this place as one of our main stops and hangouts. I booked this reservation in advance and showed up only to find out the Garden was closed for a private event. It sure would have been nice to be informed of this instead of driving 2 hours to find this out. During the confirmation email it would have been super helpful to get a notification "please note: The garden will be closed for a private event during this time"....I would have been informed and would have known. I love Stone, loved the overall vibe and even took the Brewery tour which was pretty cool. My fiance' was super bummed that we couldn't walk the garden and have that moment. We had a good time overall but I have to say, I feel cheated a bit. Let your customer know BEFORE they show up. Give them a warning or notification of when the garden is closed for private events which I am sure you have records of in plenty of advance. You are doing a disservice to some of your customers who travel hours to come witness the full extent of "Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens" We only experienced Stone Brewing World Bistro.......no gardens. Good beer, good eats but disappointed in your communication to your customers who make advance reservations.
Dinner with friends. The cheesecake with jalapeno and berry topping was interesting and very tasty.
Impossible burger and duck tacos were great too.
The overall ambience of the restaurant is picturesque. The outdoor area is like a cool secret garden with ponds, fire pits, and great little private seating areas to hang with friends. The menu is basic but good it could use some seasonal farm to table like updates every now and again to try some new thing as well as keep us coming back.
Service was great. We noticed the menu has changed again, and we missed the pretzels and shrimp and grits. Hopefully their pretzel replacement is as good as the ones they took off the menu!
Second time eating here. Had the Caesar salad and it was not good. Way too much dressing on greens turning lettuces into mush. Dressing wasn’t a Caesar dressing- not much flavor. Very disappointing.
Unusual because of its menu and beer selections. The outdoor garden is a classy spot to eat. Interesting food combinations without the every day menu items.
We were seated right on time, which was great. But it was taking a long time to get our food, so I asked for bread. The waitress brought bread, but didn’t tell us she was charging us for it. I have never paid for bread at any restaurant ever. I couldn’t believe when I saw it on the bill. Also, the food took 45 minutes to come out- seemed too long. And my pork belly meal was almost half fatty pieces.
Since my last visit, Stone has drastically reduced their beer and food selections. The fantastic bottle selection is all gone and there are many fewer guest brews on tap. The menu has a number of vegetarian and vegan selections and has a spread of $17 to $34 for entrees. The food was good but not exceptional. Service was very mixed. Our server was very friendly but took a long time to greet us at our table and to take our beverage order. We ordered two appetizers that were delivered almost 10 minutes apart. We had the brussel sprouts (the only menu item I recognized from before) and the deviled eggs. Both were fine The entrees at least arrived at the same time.
Note that we were unable to transfer our bar check to the table. No big deal, just a heads up.
Service was good and friendly but the food was bland. All four of us did not like our orders. Nice ambiance though.
Food was delicious. It had a beautiful patio and we had a lovely walk around their garden. You could also take a tour of their brewery. It was grest
We have been here many times and enjoyed. Only one time has food been lukewarm when received and service slow. Recommend going at lunch.
Such a great place to show guests how we do it in San Diego.
The ambiance was fantastic. However the service was VERY slow. Dinner took about 45 minutes to be served and same with the drinks. They took about 30 minutes to arrive to the table.
Our server let us sit with empty glasses for a bit longer than expected but it's always a great place to go.
Was a great experience. Ended up sitting outside and it was lovely. Fantastic atmosphere. It was busy and somehow we never got the same server throughout our time there, was a different person every time but no big complaints about that because we were checked on. Appetizer did come out about 5 minutes before our food came so the timing with that could have been better but ultimately not a big deal.
They’re very good with food allergies. I’m allergic to both dairy and gluten and the waiter and cook were so very accommodating it was amazing. I felt very taken care of.
Had some visitors here for the weekend, perfect for a Friday night. Went on a tour then had sampling’s of about 8 items on the menu - from appetizers, to entrees to sides! It was a wonderful evening to enjoy the beautiful patio.
