Our meal was great. Service didn’t meet expectations in the beginning. We had to go back to the hostess to find our server. But once we’d been acknowledged and ordered, service was great too. The shrimp and grits for Sunday brunch is so yummy, the best I’ve ever had. Steak Oscar, ordered MR, was a little under done. All the food was served hot on warm plates. We’ll definitely go back.
We ordered champagne but it would be nice to have a choice of brands.
This restaurant never lets us down. We sat in our favorite server's section as we requested and we were spoiled as we always are. Sharon is the best and Robin came by to say hello. Had the prime rib and it was wonderful. This is our go to restaurant and we never leave hungry or disappointed.
Food was great but table was tight and next to walkway so people were always going by our table. Too many chairs around the table for its size so we felt cramped. Corkage fee was a little high. Service was very good. Overall it was very good so I would recommend it.
The filet mignon was great, the veggies that came with, not so great.
Husband ordered salmon, sent it back, too fishy and salty. Waittess came right back with prime rib, which was great. Coconut prawns appetizer was very good. As was the wedge salad. Waitress was very nice as was the young man filling our water glasses. One suggestion, the spot lights in the ceiling shine right in your eyes at the table, need adjusting.
Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Great windows and view.

As usual, we had an excellent dinner to celebrate an evening out with friends for a Birthday.
Our steak filet was done perfectly, service was excellent and overall experience was wonderful.
This is one of our favorite restaurants for having an excellent experience every time.
We have eaten at this restaurant about 50 times over a 10 year period of time and we can say it is the BEST RESTAURANT in the BEAVERTON AREA. In fact, yesterday we had the best prime rib dinner ever. Service is outstanding, great cocktails and wine list. The restaurant is quiet and the tables are not next to each other. It is a definite winner.
As usual, the service and food were excellent! I took my sister there after a full day of a memorial service & wake for my husband. Both she and Carl remembered him and she was so gracious to us! Also, we had an appetizer of the lobster bisque, which was one of my husband's favorites!. Great place for any kind of celebration!
Good food, for the ladies. One enjoyed the shrimp/grits. My lady enjoyed the steak,shrimp,egg. The waffle/chicken not to good. The Fish and chips tasteless. The tartar :sour, not edible. The salad horrible . The dressing thinner than water and had less flavor.
My husband and I were visiting Portland, looking for a nice seafood meal for him for our last night before heading home to Indiana. Not wanting to fight traffic back into downtown from our hotel in Hillsboro we decided on Stockpot Broiler. I'm a vegetarian so I didn't expect many choices and I wasn't wrong. I ordered the apple salad(very little apple but ok) and the gruyere scalloped potatoes (very little cheese and fairly raw potatoes). Jim ordered a cup of lobster bisque and the salmon(just average). I expected to be served the salad when Jim got his bisque but after about 15 minutes the server brought my salad and potatoes and Jim's salmon. I told the server about the missing bisque-she apologized and said she would bring it. We had eaten about half our meals and she stopped back to ask if he still wanted the bisque-he said yes-she said she would bring it. Still later she stopped again and asked if he still wanted it-he said yes. She finally brought it when we were basically ready to leave. The worst part is that he said it had no lobster flavor! Obviously we were not pleased and felt we lost the chance to have a good meal on our last night.
This has been a favorite over the years for me. The food is consistently great. The menu is very diverse. Good portions and wonderful ambiance. The service is consistently good. Those are the qualities that makes the Stockpot Broiler such a great restaurant.
We are always seated at a window table where the servers come through the bar which is annoying so we asked for another table and was seated against the back wall which OK for people watching. Our shared prime rib dinner was a disappointment as the meat had no flavor and was accompanied by a thick gravy instead of au jus. I ended up eating a small portion of my dinner and left the rest.
On this visit we chose to sit in the bar and watched some baseball. Jessica, the greeter/front desk, helped us procure a nice table and set us up with the ball game we requested. Our server, Alicia, was super friendly and took very good care of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the excellent service we received.
We have dined many many times at The Stock Pot. This Sunday we had family from out of town and took them to brunch. We had a party of 10. The bacon on some plates was way under-cooked and the eggs on three plates were hard boiled rather than medium poached. The steaks three steaks that were in our group were all over cooked. None cooked to the desired amount. There were two other large groups 8+ and I think it was just to much for the family.
Dinner was a mixed bag. We were disappointed with the wilted spinach salad and the strip loin steak, neither of which were as flavorful as we expected. The lobster bisque, the add on large prawns, and the side fingerling potatoes were all excellent, as was the chocolate mousse. Unfortunately, the sorbet trio was too melted to really be able to eat and had some strange flavor combinations. The Appletini and Tom Collins were both excellent.
The view out over the golf course is excellent and can be entertaining.
The food at the Stockpot is always amazing and we love that we can count on a wonderful meal every time we visit. We have enjoyed their awesome happy hour menu, and just recently had a delicious anniversary dinner when the staff made the night extra special with a champagne toast for our special night. Our five-year-old is a very picky eater and the kitchen even whipped up a special request plate. The view of the golf course is lovely and serene. We love dining at the Stockpot and always feel very taken care of by the staff and satisfied by the meal.
