Love this place!
The short rib dinner was dry and flavorless
The food was good but not for the price you are paying for it.
The food was excellent. The table had a nice view of the golf course. The service was a little slow.
I made reservations for my dad's birthday. We like to try new places. The staff went above and beyond to make the night feel special for our party. We loved all the small surprises! (I won't ruin it for others who make reservations for a special event.) The food was amazing and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The wine list was perfect. There were local and non local selections...something for everyone. Our water glasses were always full and the server was quick to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. We will be back!
They treated us like royalty on our anniversary!
We arrived at our table and there was a nice card signed by the staff and special menus with Happy Anniversary. The waitress brought two free glasses of champagne and a free dessert. In between, the service was fantastic, the view was lovely and the food was great! I would highly recommend for a special occasion or just a nice night out. The food won't blow your socks off, but it's solid classics prepared well and served by nice people.
We had Easter brunch here. We didn’t have to wait too long for our table to be ready and the server approached quickly to take our beverage order which was promptly delivered. We made our choices at the buffet tables. The food was scrumptious and plentiful. When we were ready for dessert we ordered coffee and enjoyed our last choices of the day. We paid our check and left. This is our fifth time coming here for Easter and it just gets better and better.
This is the 5th year our family has been at The Stockpot Broiler for Easter Brunch. As always, a great spread, we great service was put on by the staff. This year our party grew to 13 kids, parents and grandparents and the vegan's among us went back for two helpings. Excellent time!!!
We have been going to the Stockpot for over 25 years. The food is great, the portions are generous, and the service is excellent.
The food is consistently good. The service is very friendly and gets the order every time. We always eat in the dining room and try for window seats because the view of the golf course is very relaxing.
The only complaint is that once you get the food just right stop changing it because the new food is a disappointment. For example, the old way you did the salmon and the lettuce wedge was way better than the new way.
Always enjoy this place. Can't wait for the summer Wednesday bbq to start!
Stockpot Broiler is a perfect place for conversation. Finally a place where voices at the table are louder than the ambient noise in the restaurant.
Nice room, good food and quick attentive service. Nice place for any occasion.
Super as always
The first time we came to The Stockpot Broiler, we were scoping the place out as a potential venue for our rehearsal dinner. By the end of the night we had been totally sold on everything about the place, the ambiance was perfectly romantic and warm, the food was excellent (I had the special which was Osso Buko, bone in lamb shank, and it was exquisite!) The wone list was perfectly paired for any palate and food choice, and the bar of course was choc full of great selections. I can happily say that for all of our Date nights, Birthdays and special dinner occasions, we will be headed for the Stockpot guaranteed!
Their executive chef, Josh, never disappoints. We've had dinners and dined off their bar menu in the past. This was our first visit for brunch. The service was impeccable, as usual.
Our table had the hearty or hungry man breakfast? It was a well prepared eggs, bacon, ham dish. We also tried a baked egg dish topped with gruyere, leeks and fried oysters. The fried oysters were perfection.
So yep, we'd recommend and we'd go back again.
Thought this was going to be a culinary experience, but turned out to be no more than a lackluster meal served in a dining room with ambience suited for a senior center.
We had dinner at Stockpot recently and the food was great. I particularly like the Pacific Rockfish and my husband enjoyed the apple salad. We will be returning!
The Stockpot is always a nice place to dine, but this time not great. I ordered the filet medallions, and the steak was not the quality that I expect from this restaurant; I have had better sirloin.
As a side note, the service was great.
Great service. And food!
Our food took a very long time to arrive.
Anytime we want a particularly good meal, or we are celebrating an occasion, THIS is the place we go! The food is delicious, selection varied, and I love seeing the golf course and the beautiful trees.
It really isn't the place for young children, in my opinion.
I was in Tigard for two nights. I enjoyed Stockpot so much my first night that I went back again for my second night. (It's only a 5 min. walk from Embassy Suites.) The crab stuffed mushrooms were awesome, cheesy goodness...almost a meal in itself. I found the roasted prawns a bit too salty for my taste but still good enough to make me return the next night. The coconut-almond crusted shrimp appetizer was to die for. Oh my! So good! Then I had the filet mignon, medium rare, and it could not have been juicier or tastier. Every bite was a delight. Finally I had the salted caramel ice cream made with their made-in-house caramel sauce. Pure deliciousness! What an incredible end it was to two terrific meals!
Our visit this time to the Stockpot was awesome. We were celebrating our anniversary and first we received a card signed by all the people who work at the restaurant and enjoyed our meals which they were able to accommodate our specific needs in changing up the items in the meals to our liking. Then a surprise came of two desserts and two glasses of champagne to help us celebrate. We have been going to the Stockpot for years and they disappoint us in any way. Highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed. Love our server Sharon and also Robin who sometimes waits on us. Murray and his wife Debbie have a gem in this place.
My husband and I enjoyed a meal for his birthday recently. We were made to feel welcome quickly. Prime rib during weekend dinner time was wonderful! We will be returning for other occasions in the fu
Great food! Love the service and all around atmosphere.
Great ambiance, you can visit with your table and hear each other! Service was great, very attentive! Food excellent as always, great selection.
We were a group of 10 for a birthday brunch. We had a wonderful time and everyone enjoyed their food. The service from Michelle and team was fantastic. One reason we love brunch there is because the menu is varied and different from what most restaurants serve. My favorite dish is Shrimp & Grits. Yesterday it didn’t seem quite as flavorful as usual.
Because it was a special occasion, they gave us a complimentary champagne toast which was enjoyed by all. We’ll definitely be back.
We wanted a quiet night of dining for two. Our table was perfect, the seats very comfortable. We took out time ordering but our glasses were kept full. The food was excellent.
Our service and food was great!
OVERALL A GREAT DINING VENUE FOR FOLKS WHO ENJOY XCELLENT FOOD IN A QUIET ATMOSPHERE !!
Our table ordered all prime rib dinner. Cooked perfectly!! Great food and great service!!
Wonderful food and service. Highly recommend.
Another great dinner!!! Special for the night was offered and my wife took that fish meal which she said was excellent. Special order of one salad was accommodated. I ordered the rockfish without the rice and fingerling potatoes and green beans were offered in its place. Food was prepared perfectly. Had the lemoncello cake which was the best dessert in the restaurant. Total recommend it. Our server Sharon was great and made us feel like family which we always do.
I love this local landmark restaurant. What I love most is the consistency. It always has good food, good service, and a lovely golf course view!
What I love most is that you can have a conversation with your dinner partner. Not so at many of the trendy downtown spots.
This is my favorite restaurant!
We have been dining at the Stockpot for over 30 years. We try some place new and usually wish we went to the Stockpot. They are very consistent.
We had great service for our anniversary celebration. Cheers to The Stockpot Broiler, chef and wait staff!
Our go-to date night place. Pork chops and short ribs are amazing alone but everything we’ve tried has been wonderful. The wine list is the best I’ve seen so far in Portland and the staff can actually explain it all!!! In my top two to take my “foodie” wife for the perfect night.
Always a treat to visit. We love the lobster bisque. It’s a bit of a drive, but the $25 off coupons we get emailed to us keep us coming back.
