    I AM A REGULAR DINER AT THIS FINE RESTAURANT FOR MORE THAN TWENTY YEARS. THEY HAVE PROVEN TO BE CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT IN SERVICE, FOOD,PREPARATION, TASTE AND PRESENTATION! THE WAIT STAFF ARE FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ATTENTIVE WITHOUT BEING INTRUSIVE! BOTH LUNCH AND DINNERS ARE EQUALLY WELL DONE! WHEN FRIENDS OR BUSINESS ASSOCIATES ARE IN TOWN IT IS THE STOCKPOT THAT WE GO! BESIDES EVERYTHING I MENTIONED THE SCENERY OVERLOOKING THE GOLF COURSE IS SPECTACULAR WITH MATURE CEDAR TREES AND THE LUSH GREEN GRASS MAKES THE MEAL RELAXING ESPECIALLY SINCE THERE IS NO LOUD MUSIC DRONING ON MAKING CONVERSATION UNCOMFORTABLE!

    We've always loved Stockpot. It was Easter dinner and very busy, but the meals weren't that appetizing. The shrimp scampi consisted of four shrimp and pepper spaghetti noodles which was marginal. The lobster bisque was very good but hardly any lobster. My husband said the Halibut was OK. Salads and Crab Cakes were very good. Overall, for the price you're spending better main dishes can be found elsewhere.

    We ordered our steaks medium, I told the waitress no blood but pink, we received 2 well done steaks that were not tender at all, so I called the waitress over and told her it was overdone and very very salty. She brought back 2 more steaks that were cooked the same way, overcooked and tons of salt where I almost gagged. This was my special 81st birthday meal as we came last year for my birthday and the meals and steak were excellent. So I chose this restaurant again. We will never return! The waitress was not experienced and did an average job to say the least. I asked for the Manager to let her know our experience, I was in tears when I told her, who herself showed very little empathy and also did a very poor job of apologizing. She said she was sorry but there was nothing she could do. I even told her we were never coming back, she should very little concerns. I asked the waitress to at least comp one steak after all we went through. She came back and said the Manager agreed. Your chef ruined my special day with my daughter and granddaughter.
