   The entire experience was a disappointment. We have dined at several high end steakhouses in Midtown Manhattan, and this does not come close to making the cut. The prices were way too high for food that was mediocre at best (we compared menus to comparable steakhouses). The pacing was way too fast (our steaks came out before we even had knives and forks). One of us received the wrong cut of meat, which was never addressed by a manager, and our other steak was over cooked. STK had almost a club vibe, with a DJ playing loud music, which is the opposite of what you’d expect in a classy steakhouse. Our server was very nice, but was clearly in over their head when it comes to service standards at this type of restaurant. If you want a good steak dinner, go to Strip House. We will not be coming back to STK.

   I attended with my cousin on my birthday, and was disappointed immensely. Our wait time for our food was almost an hour, the sides were cold when we finally did receive them, music was too loud, and then there was a mishap with the payment system. & they sat us in between two other loud and rude party groups. It was a terrible experience, would NOT recommend for future events or celebrations.

   Good service and environment but the food is totally overpriced. There are much better steaks at other places

   The hostess greeted us with attitude even though we were the only guests in the restaurant. When the busboy came to fill our sparkling water he produced an audible sigh. Our salads and entrees arrived at the same time. We received an extra side of poached eggs as a side to our avocado toast that we were charged for and did not order. When asked if we wanted dessert, we said we did but would need that and the check because we needed to leave in 20 minutes. The waitress returned with our check and one spoon do our dessert and said another spoon was coming. 14 minutes later the second spoon arrived. After 29 minutes, we left without dessert. Our waitress was talking with the bartender the entire time. She did stop to acknowledge that we were leaving without even seeing the dessert we paid for. I have never experienced such a horrible lack of hospitality at this price point. I won’t be returning. I wouldn’t recommend it.

   I felt like we were extremely miss lead by Firuza. I pointed to the porterhouse steak and thought it would be a nice steak to share with our group and she said ok I’ll give you the “chefs special”. She didn’t tell us it was going to be 400$ and not the $165 the original steak we pointed too. We were really shocked and stressed when we got the bill. Had we been informed of the price prior of course we wouldn’t have gotten it. She had us write reviews for her prior to getting the bill when we were happy because she was really nice but I was very disappointed. If this happened to the wrong person and they couldn’t pay for something like this because they were blind sided I feel like this could be a major problem for them and you.

   Service was terrible food was extremely overpriced. Will not be back with all the options we have in NY. lol

   The service and staff were incredibly unprofessional. The atmosphere left a lot to be desired. You can see I have probably reseveed 50 OpenTable reservations or so and this is my first negative review. Staff overall was aggressive, rude, and as I said very unorofessioanl.

    My husband and I such a time at STK thanks to the server LINDY make sure to ask for her!!! The food was absolutely amazing 10/10 the drinks the ambiance. Will be coming back :)
