I took my mom for her birthday because I was recommended. When I made my reservation it did not let me know there was an outside and inside section. I did not want the outside section and the inside was available at 5 so we got stuck outside. The ambience was very bland and it was cold so it was not ideal. They also didn’t move the heaters close to us. The waiter was extremely unenthusiastic. I wasn’t sure if that was his personality or if it was personal. I’ve been treated better at less expensive restaurants. The food was good but not amazing. At the end when I payed and tipped the waiter didn’t say thankyou or anything at all. He just took the card reader and left. It wasn’t a great experience and we will not be coming back. I do wonder if we would’ve had a better experience in the inside area of the restaurant.

I came to STK for my birthday and it was exceptional! Darren and Lina really made it an amazing experience and went above and beyond for my birthday! Food, drinks, and ambience were great as well!

It is a beautiful ambience. I love the DJ during dinner gave the vibe a really upbeat atmosphere. The food was amazing. I had the Chilean Seabass, which was excellent and we also shared a steak and the lobster linguine. It was perfect and tasty and I was able to enjoy a variety of things from the menu. I will definitely come back.

Made reservations to celebrate a birthday. The complimentary cake and chocolate chip dessert was very tasty. However, the entrees were disappointing. The Delmonico steak was not prepared as requested. The manager was extremely helpful and had another steak cooked which was much better. Other guests ordered the Ribeye cut called “Ribspinalis” which was supposed to be tender but it wasn’t, and the other dish Lobster Seafood Linguini was tasty but was not creamy (somewhat dry). One of the other guest ordered the Sea Bass which they said was very good. The best thing on the menu was the Brussel sprouts which were delicious. As far as the cocktails, it was hit or miss. The bartender used salt instead of sugar for the rim on a Side Car. The manager had the drink remade however it wasn’t any different so the salt and sugar must be getting mixed unexpectedly. Lastly, the Hostess could be more welcoming. They’re several other steak restaurants in LA so they need to work on greeting guests as they enter the restaurant. On the other hand, the waiters and manager were very helpful.

We love STK. My family also went last year for NYE so my son requested that I make a reservation here for this year as well. It was much more crowded this year. Even with a reservation we were left waiting in line when New Year rang in. I think they could have at least made site that each person in line had a glass of Champaign since we don't have a table but.... I stopped someone and got my glass shortly after. I went to order an appetizer from the bar for my son. The bar was so dim they told me they were too busy and suggested that I walk to another bar. At the second bar I was able to order after explaining that my reservation was over 30 minutes before but I still did not have a table. His name was Evan. He was great. He got me a second complimentary glass of Champagne and it wasn't the house brand. Yay. Then he got my order in and when it was done he asked were my son was going to eat it. I said I'm going to take it to him he's sitting in the lobby. Evan left the bar and came back with news that he had gotten me a table. It's about the service. Great service can fix simple issues. Thanks Evan. Also my server was amazing. I think her name was Serena. She also went out of her way and even though she was very busy she never made us feel like she was rushing or flustered. She even recreated torching my truffle butter so that I can make a video because I missed it the first time. Lol top notch
