Server was good. Other than that, it was pricey and mediocre.
We had a 9pm reservation but had to wait until almost 945 to be seated. The host mentioned a complimentary glass of prosecco but never followed through, we were never approached by management, no acknowledgement or apology. Disappointing for a $300 night .
Our server, Andre, was on point! He made up for the initial impression.
When a company starts to cut corners you make they are going downhill. Their signature item has always been their bread and now they outsource It instead of making it in house. Literally the top reason for going to STK as a loyal customer since 2009 in NYC. I will def not be coming back. Who knows what other corners they will be cutting moving forward. Sad sad sad
Really great this time. We come here a lot before theater in Westwood. Hostess and waiter were awesome. Super friendly.
Hostess was incredibly rude. Service is laugh out loud bad. Waiter poured water over my wine and didn’t serve say anything other than my bad.
Excellent experience, the staff was outstanding
It was AMAZING!! From the service, to the food, and ambiance!!
Celebrated my close friends Birthday. It was an amazing night of great food and even better conversation.
Pricy. But the peppercorn crusted filet I had paired with a cab was unbelievably amazing.
Food dated to 1970’s
Need to modernize
Limited vegetarian and gluten free options
The food and service are what makes this place a Must Visit in Los Angeles
Great young and hip atmosphere. Love the vibe. Food was good. Service was great.
It was an amazing experience but was a little bummed they did not do anything for my friends birthday.
I went for the Mother's Day brunch. This was the first time I have been to this establishment. I was pleasantly pleased, from the service to the food to the ambiance..... Everything was perfect!
It is my first time to eat in this restaurant. Not only the food was amazing, it has very high quality of food and varieties, but the environment is very nice. Seating is comfortable. Service is phenomena. They offer also free flowers on Mother's Day which was a total surprise to me. The outside flowers made panel into STK is the background to take a memorable shot before you leave this restaurant. I will definitely come back.
Visited stk for my husbands birthday and it was so much fun we loved our server he went above and beyond to make sure everything was great also he made it extra special with a cake and candle dance lol loved it will always come back and always a great time may 10
The best thing about STK is the manager and the wait staff. The rest is, simply stated, awful. I ordered filet mignon “rare but warm in the sender, not cool in the center”. My friend ordered lamb chops “medium well”. My steak arrived cold into center, the lamb arrived very rare. The side vegetables were flavorless: Brussels sprouts were soaking in a non-descript, greasy liquid. Mushrooms were tasteless. When we complained our server immediately apologized and took hour food away to get everything done right. The manager came over to express her apologies. It took about half hour before new dishes arrived, with he manager staying at our table to ensure everything was cooked right. The problem was that my steak - cooked to the right temperature - was tasteless. The lamb chops, cooked correctly, were also tasteless. And as far as the ambiance goes, when we arrived we were only the second couple in the large dining room, but the music was painfully loud. We requested it be turned down, which it eventually was, be later in the evening someone turned up the volume. The prices and service are at the fine dining level. The food was awful. And, it is noteworthy that as the evening wore on, the restaurant became crowded with groups of UCLA students creating a noisy, party-like atmosphere.
Very upscale and rather expensive for the portions that are served. Great atmosphere and service though.
love the food - the atmosphere - the location
they do have DJ playing very loud music
Mashed potatoes with truffle were incredible.
The food was very good, and the presentation was very nice. I especially enjoyed the fresh seafood bar, where everything was very fresh and tasty! The 9 layer chocolate cake was also decadently delicious!! I would have given 5 stars except I thought The restaurant was a bit too dark for an Easter brunch. I would have preferred it if it was by the pool, or somewhere with natural light. I forgot to mention, the service was outstanding, very responsive and upbeat waiters, who seemed to really enjoy working there. Overall, a very pleasant experience!
Amazing food service was great ambiance was very relaxing definitely would go back and recommend to my friends
The steak here is cooked perfectly. I love the mashed potatoes and the broccoli florets. I came here both times I've visited LA and the service is always exceptional!
The waiter was terrible bad energy didn't listen and purely acted as he didn't want to serve asked him for a few things and didn't listen and did it wrong.
The food was amazing! Our waitress seemed like she didn’t wanna be there and wasn’t very friendly. Maybe she was having a bad day. Anyway. Other than that the experience was chill and the food was great. Very filling and delicious.
Out waiter was absolutely horrible. Took him 30 min just to get my drink order.
The food was fantastic.
This is my second time here I gave it another chance after the first time I went and the DJ was playing rap music for 2 hours which was obnoxious.
I noticed the DJ was different this time. Both times we went on a Friday night..
The managers of this restaurant appear to be catering to a younger, hipper crowd who either are upper income or on expense accounts. Three of us enjoyed 1 bottle of merlot, 2 of the smallest steak filet's and one "cowgirl ribeye" (bone in), and 1 side each of mashed potatoes, truffle fries, and sautéed brussel sprouts, and a shared flourless chocolate-cake desert--all really delicious. But the bill, including 20% tip, came to $504 (plus valet parking). That's too expensive for a restaurant in which the re-mixed song hits from the 80s is projected so loud that it is difficult to hear each other speak.
Overall, always great steak and sides.
Food was good. Not worth the price. Had steaks for a lot less that tasted better. Sides were just okay, nothing special.
This is a very great restaurant with a high quality services and high skills food.
Had a great experience food was great service was great was seated in a very nice booth awesome service
Finally, a good restaurant is in Westwood Village. The food, salads, steaks, fish, veggies and desserts, is excellent. Very fresh. Delicious. The Cloud dessert is amazing, very pretty to look at, very sweet, and tasty. We will rety.
Bread was delicious but overall it was over priced for mediocre food
Elegant, understated steakhouse in the W Hotel. Perfect for pre-theater dining before a show at the Geffen.
Their steak selection is amazing. Various options for dressing and side dishes. Their servers are all very accommodating and knowledgeable in pairing your food as well as giving you great choices for wine to go with your food. Order for the tasting and not for the size. Each dish has a small portion, enough for you to get a good taste of the ingredient.
Outstanding service, the food was tasty and cooked perfectly. Would recommend STK to all my family and friends.
One of our favorites If you have a problem with load music don’t come here. Service and food always good
