STK - Los Angeles
STK artfully blends two concepts into one—the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge. A large central lounge area is furnished with creamy leather banquettes and textured crocodile tiles, and is surrounded by an elevated dining room for more formal dining. Theatrical lights illuminate each table, while smoky mirrors allow patrons to catch a glimpse of the surroundings while a DJ creates an energetic vibe throughout the entire space. STK Los Angeles is located in the heart of Westwood at the W Hotel Los Angeles- West Beverly Hills. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction. STK offers small, medium and large cuts of meat, as well as naturally raised options and market fresh fish entrees.

Everything was prefect !! - January 2020
staff was very friendly and attentive, outside dining very minimal, food good but not exceptional, wine list excellent, suggest main dining room.
Foods quality wasn’t good.
The food was amazing! Ambiance was 10/10 and the service was incredible!! Auri really is the best server I could’ve asked for! ❤️
Service was great. Friendly staff and great ambiance. Ordered a steak and it was dry! And the worst thing about that is this restaurant only serves their own steak sauce and no one else’s. And their sauce was gross. Too sweet and had an after taste. So I wasted $60 on a dry dinner.
We had a great time . Thank you !
Awesome steak & eggs! A must for brunch or wago beef options. Cocktail bar is a hot spot with Amanda Concocting

Great happy hour to start on wines & appetizers. 4-6pm
Dinner was delicious- lamb chops - crab cake - filet - and savory Cesar & Wedge salads. DJ spun great 90’s hits & Ivanna was attentive server. Will be back!
Happy Hour is awesome
Very poor experience to say the least. Got seated and someone stole my chair so we had to share a booth between my and girlfriend. Server never really paid attention to us nor cared. My girlfriend literally told me she would never even go back and never for us to have dinner there again.
We went for new years eve and that’s probably where i messed up. We had reservations fo 10:50 got there 30 min early because we heard theres a line to get in reservation or no reservation which makes booking one pointless we had to stand in line for over an hour till someone finally came to the line and gave us the suggestions to ether eat outside which wasn’t bad but it was around 11:30-11:40 and it was very cold outside. Due to a-lot of complications and inconvenience the service and coordinations for this was not that good to me specially since we are paying customers trying to enjoy new years with our family. Food was great! Cant complain about that. Eating out back beside bad weather we got better service than we did inside big S/O to the guy who seemed to be in charged of that back area i think his name was john great guy really helped having someone like that on your guys team!
Disappointed!!!!!! I’ve been dining at STK for years…..Miami, Vegas, Colorado, & New York…this was my first time dining in LA…. Horrible experience…. My reservation was for 10:45..we were not seated until 11:50….I hurried and ordered a bottle of champagne so that my guest and I could toast wheh the clock strike 12 ( New Years) of course the bottle came at 12:10…..the food was ok….I’ve had better at the other locations….as far as ambiance it wasn’t pleasing to the eye….so yeah LA location is a no for me.
New Years Eve and they were great about Covid precautions while not feeling like we were missing out on anything. Service was attentive and food really delicious. Pricey but I think for a special evening it was well worth it.
Overall ok. There was no sign specifying that outdoor dining was in a different area than indoor dining. Upon arriving, we were directed to check in as we had reservations, however after waiting in line for over 20 minutes, we were notified that we had to go to the other side, cross the lobby, go up the stairs and out for the outdoor seating area. Upon arriving there we were in line and there was no host, only a security guard who explained that the are busy and a host should be arriving soon to seat everyone.
Worst New Year’s Eve dinner ever. Terrible service, cold food, appetizers and main course arrived together. Nothing positive about the experience.
Overpriced.. 78 dollars for a six ounce filet and three prawns..
New Year’s Eve and very busy however we had great food and great service from Jimmy. Gordon went out of his way to make things right.
Not your typical STK. Been to most and this seemed older. Food was okay. Service always great. But won’t be back.
Andre was a great waiter.
We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us at STK LA and truly appreciate you taking the time to write a review. It's great to hear Andre made your experience truly memorable. We look forward to seeing you again soon. - STK LA
Annual Xmas Get together was a hit. our host was awesome
Was average. Have been to STK in Vegas which was a completely better vibe and great service. So we tried in LA but it was super disappointing:(
Did not honor our 10pm reservation on Christmas. Wanted us to wait an hour in a long line, small area. Totally unsafe. They overbooked, and claimed it was because of the rain. Well, it had been forecasted to rain for a week, so not sure why they would’ve booked other people outside. Should not have allowed people with outdoor reservations to cut into the people with indoor reservations. Very poorly managed place. Ruined our Christmas dinner. Will never trust them again with a reservation.
Our waitress was terrible! But the food and atmosphere was amazing!
The wait was ridiculous even tho we had a reservation
My family and I decided to splurge on a Christmas meal and considered ourselves lucky when we got a last-minute reservation to STK-Los Angeles. It was a 40-minute drive in the rain, and when we arrived at 8:10 for our 8:15 reservation, we were greeted with a line out the door. We soon found out that everyone in line had a reservation and that we would have to wait at least 30 minutes to even check in. At this point in the night, we didn't have much choice, so we decided to wait.
My husband tried to call the restaurant while we were in line but was only able to talk to the central reservation offices in another state -- Their response was that they guessed the restaurant had overbooked and we should talk to a manager. Of course, the only people available to talk to were the bouncers who didn't let us move beyond the door to the restaurant.
Our wait was compounded by the fact that we watched at least two groups be let in before us even though they were well behind us in line -- They must have had the right look or the secret password.
We were finally seated at 9:10 pm. Our server was very nice and apologetic, but he couldn't make up for the ridiculous wait or the attitude we had received up until then. He also couldn't make up for the mediocre food - overcooked and cold.
Again, we should have left the moment we saw the line, but we were hoping for a nice meal and a good way to wrap up our holiday. By the time we finally sat down, we were too tired and too hungry to fight about the food.
It was an extreme disappointment, more so because no one seemed to care. STK Los Angeles, do you care?
My fiancé and I were excited to try this restaurant as we are visiting from NY. I went through the proper steps of making a reservation and leaving our hotel with enough time to make the reservation. Upon arriving to the restaurant, valet told us they were closed for the night and then proceeded to tell us that there was a one hour wait DESPITE having a reservation. We took a chance, parked our own car and went inside to see an L shaped line as long as the lobby. We waited for a bit to see how it was progressing but as we were hungry, we left. Where I come from, many restaurants have a policy of 1.5 hours at a table. What is the point of a reservation if I then have to wait more than 15 minutes because as per your valet “people are not leaving because they are spending time with their families”
Horrible. Waited an hour to get seated because it was over booked. Waited another 15 to get drink order in. Finally ordered main and the steak has gone bad. Had to spit it out after the first bite. Just a horrible experience overall
Filet and lobster was amazing
Sobre reservaron tuvimos que esperar mucho
Jimmy was an excellent host and the food was fantastic
Not at all impressed with the restaurant and won’t recommend.
Just no, never again
They were overwhelmed and did not know how to handle their restaurant. Arrived 15 mins early and was seated 30 mins after reservation time. Food was cooked poorly. STK should have done better.
Very chaotic first impression. Had to wait in line for 25 min (in the cold lobby with my 93 yr grandmother) just to sign in for our reservation. They were extremely unprepared for guest reservations on Christmas day.
The food was good but expensive. The service was horrible both on Thanksgiving and Christmas 2021. Both times we were seated after a big party and had to wait at least 20 mins to even get a class of water. On Thanksgiving we were asked if we were finished because they needed the table...20 mins to get a glass of water another 5 or so minutes before we got to order & waited 10 minutes before we could order desert. Our plates were already taken away at this point.
We had a gift certificate and that is the only reason we came back on Christmas. I thought it would be different this time.
I will never dine there again!
Food was great..the service was just fair
We had Xmas lunch there and this was by far one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had at a restaurant on a holiday. The food was mediocre. The staff was lost/incompetent. They brought us the wrong food, which looked burnt. The staff was sort of wearing masks. I pointed out to our waiter that the DJ wasn’t wearing her mask for over an hour. So the waiter responded to my request by telling her what I said — and pointed out that I said it. So, instead of just putting her mask on, she literally came over to our table and confronted me, finally telling me I should have just stayed home. Then the waiter — who I asked to split the check 2/3 and 1/3 — screwed that up with some confounding math and mixed up which credit card was which. By that time we just wanted the hell out of there, only to find a super spreader event in the lobby as all the people with reservations were being held there and not seated. Final insult: $33 for valet (with validation). Never again!
I wish I could report that our Christmas lunch at STK was great. It wasn't. The service was SO bad. Firstly, our server disappeared for stretches of time and the restaurant was not busy. Secondly, we HAD to ask for steak knives at a steak restaurant - first time in my life this has happened. Twice we tried to get the server's attention and he was not scanning the room (we were waving at him - other diners saw us). It was truly horrible service and didn't merit even the 10% tip we left.
The food was fine, but what good is that if you have poor service at a restaurant?
Food is not worth half the price it’s listed as. Service was extremely sub par. I dont even know what i paid for to be honest. DJ was terrible. I wouldve sent the whole meal back but already sent back a drink and a dish. Even the donuts were terrible smh.
