We loved the STK in San Diego like loved loved the food so we decided to try it in Los Angeles but we were NOT impressed with the food. The steak was over cooked and had no flavor. It was pretty disappointing.
Wonderful experience as always
The service is Amazing. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the staff is very pleasant. The food is good and the drink green envy was amazing. They do have heaters out but it is still very chilly. Dress warm!
Had to wait about 15-20 minutes after our reservation time. The steak was subpar compared to other steakhouses I have been to.

I rarely do this, but I was honestly mostly disappointed in my STK experience. I have been to STK Las Vegas and had a totally different amazing experience there.
The hardest part was the menu. Almost everything had onions on it, which would’ve been fine if they had been listed on the menu, then I could’ve asked for them to be removed but when allergy centric ingredients aren’t listed, it takes away all of a persons ordering confidence. Who puts green onions/chives on a Caesar salad by the way?
Fortunately the steak itself was truly wonderful, and I think next time I will save a lot of time and money by ordering nothing but one of their wonderful cuts.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, courteous and accommodating. We were sat to our table almost as soon as we arrived. Our server was very attentive and offered great recommendations on drinks. Our drinks and food came considerably fast but very delicious and all our orders were made/cooked to perfection. We loved the STK in Las Vegas but STK LA is just as great, if not, better. If you haven't been, this is definitely a must try.
The Manager Patrick was attentive, professional and friendly. The star was Jimmy! He was fast, professional, cordial and his energy was amazing. I would recommend him and my guest was extremely satisfied that she left a 40% tip! That should be a testament to the service. Thank you and we'll certainly be back again.
They were severaly overbooked this past valentines day with guests who made reservations waiting upwards of 2 hours. I waited an hour and a half, then discovered there was 15 parties who had prior reservations still waiting to be seated and decided to leave. Looking at other reviews, this seems to be the usual for this restaurant.
STK asked for a $400 deposit to hold our reservation at 8:45pm on 2/14, Valentine's Day. We arrived to our reservation on time and were not seated until 11pm, completely unacceptable!
When we were finally sat, no heat lamps, no apologies, sat for over 30 minutes before anyone took our order. It was the most miserable night ever experienced in a restaurant. We would have gladly taken our business where a restaurant would have appreciated the business.
In addition, we were charged for our dinner, over $200, they never applied the $400 deposit they (OpenTable or STK) charged on our card. Furthermore, in talking directly to the hostess, she said we just had to wait and disregarded our reservation! No manager connected with us either.
If there was a way I could have lowered the rating and claimed it less than poor, I would have done so. HORRIBLE SERVICE, MISERABLE, FREEZING COLD, REGRETTABLE EVENING AT STK, WILL NEVER BE BACK. I emailed Open Table to complain as well, no one has gotten back to us. WE WANT A FULL REFUND. I will also place my distaste of STK on social media.
Horrible experience! We booked for V-Day, they made me pay 200$ in advance and when we got there they said its a 30 min wait which turned into a 2 HOUR WAIT!!!
There wasn't even a dedicated waiting area and we had to wait 2 hours in the freezing cold, NO DRINK OR COMPENSATION was offered and the manager was extremely rude to us and showed 0 remorse for the whole situation.
It ruined mine and my girlfriends Valentines day we were so much looking forward to.
I will never go back and you should do the same

Valentine’s Day the wait was incredibly long. Not sure why they tell you to reserve when you’re still going to be waiting and additional 2 hours to get your table. It was very unorganized when it came to getting seated. Luckily the food was great but if you’re going here for a special occasion be prepared to wait long
Waited for almost 2 hours to get a table for valentine's day we prepaid 3 weeks in advance. Then another 2 hours before leaving with no food. Horrible service. Ruined a very special day for us.
We made a reservation for 7:15 we checked in at 6:45 glad that we did because we didn’t sit down until 8:55pm. We order medium well and well done steak but our steak was not cooked correctly and was cold so we had to wait another 45 mins for them to bring our food out it was just horrible on our Valentine’s Day
I came at 6:50 and I had a reservation at 7PM. We had to wait in line to check in, once we checked in they said the wait would be 25-35 mins. We waited an hr and 20 mins. We got sat down and the table was so unstable and the heater was not hitting us at all. We finally ordered and the food took almost 40 mins. I got the tomahawk, it was nothing but fat and burnt. Wasted $157 on that, didn’t even seem like it was 34OZ. We would have left but my boyfriend had to put down a $200 deposit for this place. Valet guy charged us $32 for 3 hours which does not make any sense, when the board says “3 hrs for additional $20” we were too tired of all the waiting, we didn’t want to argue about it.

We had reservations for 6:30, we were checked in and told to sit down by the pool, it was cold and windy... no heaters nearby, we waited for almost 2 hours until 8:30 when we were finally seated 2 hours past our “reservation”, we were told we would be given a couple glasses of champagne to compensate for our wait, that NEVER came... the food was cold by the time it got to our table and they seated us in like this back alley behind the restaurant they converted to a patio, after waiting 2 hours past our reservations they didn’t even have the decency to seat us in the normal ambiance area we reserved for, at this point we just wanted to leave. We paid and left. I will never come back here again STK was the worst restaurant and dining experience I have EVER experienced in my life, I don’t know how they are even open still.
Had a Valentines Day Reservation at 6pm.Waited in a line until 7:15 pm! Did not receive any food until 9:30pm! Absolutely unacceptable scam! Collecting money from people ahead of time and overbooking. This happened to hundreds of people across multiple cities and locations. Ruined the night for so many people
We had a great experience except for the wait. It seems like they overbooked so we ended up waiting and my girlfriend was cold. Once we were seated the food and the service was awesome.

The security guy is a joke very aggressive telling people to go "wait somewhere else". Straight up small nasty strip club bouncer energy.

Extremely unorganized accompanied with haphazard service! For the price you’d expect more, however, the level of service that was displayed was anything but what we expected. Just stay closed until you can deliver the service that one expects whether we are outdoors or not.

STK Beverly Hills - Worst food I have ever had in my life. I returned everything multiple times. Steak quality was disgusting, better steaks at Denis. Lobster was chewy as it had been frozen for months. At the end, I came home and was sick for 2 days. This restaurant have their license revoked and should not see another customer again. Do not waste your money on this place. Nothing to do with STK Las Vegas. This ownership only bought the name and that is it. Do not get fooled and waste your time or money in this establishment
Excellent service food was slightly cold and steak was not cooked as requested however I will definitely give it another try on a less crowded night.
