Stickney's Restaurant at the Omni Mount Washington Resort
Our waiter was Craig and he was great. Outstanding customer service with a smile at all times. Food (steak) was really good but not exceptional for the price. Thanks to Craig the overall experience for my birthday dinner was excellent.
Food was very good. Our server Bernice was outstanding. Menu was fairly limited and not much that was innovative.
The noise level of the room was not pleasant for dining ,radio too loud with kids crying.
Menu choices were very limited.
Food was excellent. Beware of what you wear...in the wintertime the heat is cranked up so high it makes it very uncomfortable if you have a sweater on. Service was great.
The good is that the location and the ambience ("casual elegance") cannot be beaten. But Omni is destroying the character and expecations for the Mount Washington in a flood of generic corporate mass-sourced mediocrity.
The ugly: the food is outrageously overpriced and clearly mass supply chain-sourced. The "salmon plank" was a tiny portion ruined by overly salty soy sauce. My dining companions had soup and salad. The total bill came to nearly $150 including a few glasses of wine and 3 cocktails.
The ok: the staff is rotated in over short periods of time from other Omni locations. While they're all solicitous and professional and competent, there is zero "local flavor" in an area that could really use the jobs.
Impossible to know if this experience is a result of temporary Covid restrictions or general Omni bottom line management. Having been there several times before it was an Omni, all I can say is that, for the cost, it was disappointing.
We had the lobster and pasta special and the half a chicken. While the food is a bit expensive, it was delicious. The staff is very friendly and engaging. The hotel itself is very beautiful, we’ll definitely be back!
The only drawback was listening to commercials on the Christmas music station while having a nice dining experience. Paying for "commercial free" Pandora would be a wonderful thing!!
Claudio was a fantastic server, giving amazing service and creating a wonderful evening for us.
Craig, Carlo, Devin and Melinda were great to talk with!
Javar made fantastic beverages!
Maine & Kyle did a great job with our meals! They were delicious!
Went to Stickney’s two nights in a row. Our first meal was amazing - NY Strip and the cedar plank salmon. The next night we got the lobster Mac and cheese and the burger. The burger was great, but the lobster Mac and cheese had maybe two small pieces of lobster. Overpriced for a lobster Mac and cheese with two tiny pieces of lobster. Great servers, the bartender is under and makes a fabulous mud slide and Moscow mule.
Bernice our waitstaff at dinner was phenomenal the food quality and taste did not meet the cost, over priced
The monkfish special was delicious. The staff in the restaurant and hotel as a whole were great! Perfect mini honeymoon until the world is safe enough to truly travel and this was a great date night dinner for that. Thank you!
We had a wonderful experience; the ambience is tough given the limited seating due to Covid...our waiter stared and finished strong but he disappeared for a while as we finished our meals and empty plates staid just a little too long on the table....but, overall, a wonderful experience with amazing food.
Great place! Great atmosphere! Wonderful people!
The only complaint I have is that no bread was served supposedly this was covid related which I feel was an excuse as I have dined in many restaurants during the pandemic and have never heard off such a thing . For the price of dining I feel
Like rolls should be part of meal service.
Food was just fair.
Celebrating our 60th Anniversary
I am 77 years old and have supped at places from greasy spoons to some of the best 5 star restaurants. So, I'm a little jaded. Stickney's is very nice, clean and quiet. I found the wait staff to be friendly and attentive.
The food, Filet Mignon for me was the best I have ever had the pleasure of consuming, while the Ribeye for sweetheart, was second by only the tiniest bit to that of Vic She is a bit jaded as well!
The prices, for those interested, were $50 plus per meal - a good value depending on your budget!
The staff was great. But whatbyoi get for the price is not worth it. Steak was fair, potato wedges were cold...Tomato soup was good, but is it house made??( Love the atmospheres but $40 for two drinks, nope...
Covid has impacted everything. Service at the table was excellent. Food was ok - half the party enjoyed, the others thought it was ok. Masks were worn by staff but no gloves. Made us wonder about their being strict in Covid adherence.
Awesome service. Waitstaff own making the experience a good one. Halibut and Filet were great. Caprese salad was fresh. Chocolate spoon cake finished our meal nicely.
All things considered during the pandemic, Stickney's offers very good dinner choices. The service was great and the food, although limited, was excellent. The deserts are to die for. We have had good steaks and wine. I am sure this place would be amazing when things return to normal.
As the showcase restaurant at the resort, we expected more from an Omni property. We can buy the wine list from our supermarket. The mushy vegetable medley served with the steak was like a dinner theater buffet side. Service was great and tried really hard but couldn’t make up for the below average good.
Food and service were excellent, although the menu was very limited.
Wait staff was very attentive, likable and professional. Hostess who seated us was indifferent. Looked like it could have been a nice experience for a couple on a date at an upscale resort, but instead the two of us were seated at a giant booth, not near a window or the fireplace, with no thought given to it. Food was just fine.
We were treated extra special. And our waiter Ben was just tremendous. So smart/knowledgable.
Always great but miss sitting at the bar!!!
Staff is the best!
We dined outside in a beautiful night with a gorgeous moon. The drinks were great & the food was much better than the main dining room at the resort. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner.
We ate out on the patio was beautiful. Can’t beat the view. The food was just warm and rather ordinary. Waitress was nice and attentive though.
Limited menu, ordinary food, not worth the price. It was busy, yet limited menu, why?
Perfect weekend for outside patio seating, service was fantastic, food delicious!
No bread, $56 steak, and no bread not even a cracker! Steak was small but tasty. Far, far overpriced. I get the pandemic ratchet down but this was ridiculous! No value.
We went to Stickneys 4 times in our 3 day stay at the Mount Washington resort! Twice for lunch and twice for dinner. Amazing food and service each time! Quiet and casual at lunch and never needed a reservation. Elegant and lovely at dinner (had reservations both times). Definitely recommend any time of day!
As always, everything about our dining experience was top notch. A special shoutout to our server Bernice, who was friendly, engaging and really knows her stuff! 👏👏👏
Excellent service. The staff goes above and beyond. Ate here twice during my trip. Lunch and dinner. The menu is very limited. Many of the lunch items are on the dinner menu. If there is only one place to eat at a hotel, might be a good idea to vary the menu options.
Each meal we had at Stickney's was delicious and great service!
The food was exceptionally outstanding… We enjoyed each and every bite. I highly recommend this restaurant
The drinks were great.
Our server was very nice.
Unfortunately the foos was less then desirable. I ordered the only vegetarian option on the menu- which was the quinoa and mixed veggies however they only gave peppers and onions, when it was advertised as green beans, carrots, mushrooms, peppers and onions.
Covid has really effected the hotel- no valet, no relaxing in the beautiful lobby, plexiglass everywhere. I get it, we have to be careful, but it’s not the same experience. Hostess and bartender were not friendly, but our waiter Devin was great! As always, the food was excellent! We will go again, but I hope things can return to some level of normalcy soon. It made me a bit sad.
