Jr. Filet Mignon
4oz center cut filet served with yukon gold mashed potatoes
Chocolate Spoon Cake
Decadent Chocolate Cake, Ganache Icing, Whipped Cream, Chocolate Shavings
Everything was perfect except the food. I feel it was extremely overpriced for the dinner we had. My filet mignon was ordered medium-rare and came out more medium-well. The calamari was mostly batter crumbs with small pieces of calamari thrown in the mix. But the service and atmosphere made up for it.
The food had been changed with our fav appetizer (we used to come here a lot) mozzarella triangles with a Dijon sauce removed from the menu. The salmon was bathed in a mustard sauce, which it never was before, and I always get a ghirardellli chocolate martini which was not good at all this time and the waiter said he had never heard of it when I literally ordered it a week ago. Service was slow-obviously short staffed. Very disappointed. Not up to my Washington standards and way to expensive for what we ordered.
Just not good. If this were my first visit, I would not return, and if quality stays as we experienced, we won’t be coming back.
Very overpriced for what you get and a menu that keeps shrinking as the years go on..no bread either? Come on Mt Washington
Food was solidly OK and I certainly wouldn't choose to eat at this restaurant if I wasn't staying at the hotel.
For such a beautiful hotel, the food is terrible. The quinoa entree I had was almost inedible. The service was weak. The prices were very high. $8.75 for a Tuckerman draft.
We also had dinner in the grand ballroom and that dinner was inedible. Gnocchi were dry, chewy and there was almost no sauce. The salad was terrible.
We were so disappointed. This is an expensive hotel with food not deserving in a cheap diner.
As much as I love the Omni Mt. Washington I won’t be going back unless I hear the food parallels the quality of the hotel.
I ordered the filet MW which came xtra well done ... so well done that the meat was grey inside. It was dry and not worth $50!! The potato’s tasted like they had been sitting in a Buffett line for hours - soft and tasteless. Our kids Mac and Cheese was flavorless, it was very watered down. Super disappointed by all of our meals! The service was great though!
The ambience was perfect for our getaway at the mount Washington Omni hotel. Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious and came out so quickly. Very impressive. The view of the mountains were spectacular with the green grass and and the mountains covered in snow.
The service is the best.. very kind
Great service and food recommendations from the wait staff was outstanding. The garlic chicken wings and taco’s exceeded my expectations.
I noticed the light fixtures near my table had something inside that looked like bug carcasses. The drinks were good. My most notable mention about my $56 steak meal was that the Brussel sprouts were some of the best I had ever had. The steak was cooked as requested but the quality of the meat did not back the price. Mashed potatoes were room temperature. It was an overpriced, average meal, with good service. Dessert was delicious with good portion for the price.
The menu displayed on Open Table which is where you are required to make your reservation does not match the actual menu. The current menu is much reduced from what Open Table displays. There was very little my wife could eat since the lamb, pork and crab cakes were not available. Omni should do a better job of advertising what they are truly offering. Otherwise expectations are not met...
Staff went above and beyond to seat us where there was a mountain view and shared local knowledge. Service was perfect. We justed shared a calmari app., but it was very good.
Perfectly adequate American steak house inside the Mt. Washington Resort. At this point, it is the only restaurant open when staying at the resort, for weeknight dinner, and the menu didn't change night after night, but it offers an option for everyone. Remember to ask about kid's options, because they are not readily offered and ARE available. Significantly over priced for what it is, with recognition that all restaurants are struggling during the pandemic, so we are empathetic customers.
Our server was amazing!
Menu is very limited due to Covid. Everything was well-prepared and delicious, just wish there were more options.
As always, the Omni Mount Washington never disappoints. Don't be shocked when the bill comes, though, because it's always a bit of a sticker shock moment for me. Food is outstanding, service is top-notch, the ambiance is wonderful - but it comes at a definite premium.
I'm not sure how a Stickney's justifies the prices it charges for the strip steak and filet mignon given the quality of the meat is not good and the preparation is even worse. Very disappointment given the Mount Washington Resort touts itself as a luxury facility.
Great atmosphere very relaxing and most of all the food was excellent so was the perfect Manhattan
Great food served by a very friendly professional!!
Amazing rib eye and chipotle Red bliss potatoes. Server was fantastic, fun and engaging. Great overall experience. Not a huge menu but the quality made for the small selection.
Ben was our server and he was very knowledgeable with his recommendations and overall restaurant "things to know." We celebrated a birthday and Ben happily accommodated our dessert with a candle. The restaurant is very nice for the hotel - would definitely come back.
Limited menu. Our food came out way too fast for being cooked to order. Chicken was dry. As was the most of the steak. No sauce with chicken or steak. Don’t tell you what the side options are and it’s same sides for everything and no options. Same menu that was offered in the summer. Surprised no change for seasons. For only a few places to eat at the hotel I expected a bit more. Pricey for what is offered. Don’t think I’ll be back a 3rd time.
Found lacked seasoning and imagination. No sauces on roasted Brussel sprouts, no seasoning in “garlic” mashed. Steak was good quality and cooked perfectly but again lacked any seasoning.
Very limited menu. The only sides were mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts, Thats it! Way overpriced too.
Very overpriced for what you get, menu very limited
Food was very good !
We inquired on whether we could order the sirloin, steak sandwich and was told no, that was only available on the lunch menu. The restaurant was very quiet and we have been coming here for years and have loved this sandwich so we were very disappointed that we could order this sandwich.
Since Omni took over the restaurant and property, the overall service has gone downhill ( no pun intended).
Our waiter was an anomaly, most every other person we spoke to was not very helpful.
Being in a pandemic you would think restaurants and businesses in the service industry would bend over backwards to accommodate.
This is not how Omni works!!!!!
Sad day when they purchased Bretton Woods!
The food was good, my mashed potatoes could have been hotter, they arrived Luke warm, my salmon was hot and tasty, the burger and fries were good. The service was excellent. The menu was limited due to the fact that it was a week day in February in the midst of the pandemic. I would recommend the restaurant and hopefully the resort will see full capacity soon.
Filet was incredible
We love the atmosphere at Stickney's. Our waiter was excellent...very personable and helpful! The food was very good. We had an enjoyable evening.
My husband and I were staying at the Mount Washington and went here for dinner our first night. Very attentive staff and great service. Food very nice. I was disappointed that the bread pudding and the apple pie was served cold, though. But it was still very good!
Food and service was great!
A lot of hype, a lot of let down! This was our first visit to the "exquisite" Omni Mount Washington Property. Since this is not the forum to review the hotel, I will do that there (2 stars).
We booked Stickney's on our first night. We were immediately greeted and sat by a pleasant host. It appeared that everyone was following CV-19 protocols, that was reassuring.
The waiter offered specials and my partner opted for the menu burger and I chose the seafood carbonara special. The waiter described it as having, LOBSTER, SHRIMP and SCALLOPS. When it arrived, there were dry chunks of what I am guessing was maybe overcooked tuna or something else. The pasta was over cooked, the fish was as described.
When my partner ordered his burger, he was told "We Only do Medium Well" we don't serve pink burgers. This was a relieve, as he just doesn't like undercooked beef. The burger, mostly raw in the center and not edible.
The experience was expensive and a let down.
Our waiter was Craig and he was great. Outstanding customer service with a smile at all times. Food (steak) was really good but not exceptional for the price. Thanks to Craig the overall experience for my birthday dinner was excellent.
Food was very good. Our server Bernice was outstanding. Menu was fairly limited and not much that was innovative.
The noise level of the room was not pleasant for dining ,radio too loud with kids crying.
Menu choices were very limited.
Food was excellent. Beware of what you wear...in the wintertime the heat is cranked up so high it makes it very uncomfortable if you have a sweater on. Service was great.
The good is that the location and the ambience ("casual elegance") cannot be beaten. But Omni is destroying the character and expecations for the Mount Washington in a flood of generic corporate mass-sourced mediocrity.
The ugly: the food is outrageously overpriced and clearly mass supply chain-sourced. The "salmon plank" was a tiny portion ruined by overly salty soy sauce. My dining companions had soup and salad. The total bill came to nearly $150 including a few glasses of wine and 3 cocktails.
The ok: the staff is rotated in over short periods of time from other Omni locations. While they're all solicitous and professional and competent, there is zero "local flavor" in an area that could really use the jobs.
Impossible to know if this experience is a result of temporary Covid restrictions or general Omni bottom line management. Having been there several times before it was an Omni, all I can say is that, for the cost, it was disappointing.
We had the lobster and pasta special and the half a chicken. While the food is a bit expensive, it was delicious. The staff is very friendly and engaging. The hotel itself is very beautiful, we’ll definitely be back!
The only drawback was listening to commercials on the Christmas music station while having a nice dining experience. Paying for "commercial free" Pandora would be a wonderful thing!!
