Stickney's Restaurant at the Omni Mount Washington Resort
Jr. Filet Mignon
4oz center cut filet served with yukon gold mashed potatoes
lettuce / tomatoes / white cheddar cheese / mayonnaise / wheat berry bread
spicy red sauce
We had a great meal. The dining room temperature was very warm, but I think it was because it is a very old hotel. Otherwise great time had by all!
The food is outstanding. We had the best chowder since San Francisco. The crab cakes were wonderful.
Well where to start. We were seared between 2 tables both with small children, that’s why score on noise level.
Food came so fast, felt like being rushed. Could have used a bit more salad with my salmon, but it was delicious. Ordered butterscotch bread pudding for desert, got regular bread pudding with chocolate all h see it, a scoop of maple walnut ice cream on top and maybe butterscotch sauce in top of that.
Wine was good, but so much for birthday dinner.
Great staff, and amazing food. I would definitely recommend to eat here.
One of our favorites when visiting Bretton Woods. The service is very good, the menu is diverse and the food is always delicious.
Incredible experience yet again....
We've been to stickney's many times - it's a top-notch dining experience mall the way around. Ben's service was outstanding and all of our meals were cooked to perfection. Certainly not cheap, but we'll worth it!!!
Limited choice up that way but food is reasonably good, but too hot in restaurant
Just ok. I've eaten in many other steak houses with far superior service and food. My fillet was cooked medium, not medium rare but we were dining with friends and I didn't want to make a fuss.
Great food and great service. Get a reservation ahead of time during the busy season
Great food, but high priced for the value vs worth
The hostess and staff were kind and gracious and greeted us for our Anniversary. Food was excellent!
This was our second night at Stickney's during a two day ski trip to Bretton Woods. The Salmon salad was excellent, but the sirloin sandwich was somewhat tasteless. Just sayin....... The wait staff was excellent, attentive and helpful.
Great service and food. I cannot recommend this more highly
WE booked ourselves into the Mt. Washington Hotel complex for a two day ski experience at Bretton Woods. We've stayed at the Mt Washington before. We enjoy the more casual atmosphere of Stickney's Restaurant. Our waiter was attentive and helpful in describing the specials.
We dined early, just after sunset. The view was spectacular. The ambiance is beautiful. Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive. The food was very good. Because we were there early there were a lot of families with young children. Hence, there was noise.
Stickney's was outstanding and we will go back when we return to Bretton Woods.
We loved the atmosphere and food but hands down best service ever. Our server was phenomenal!!!
Excellent food and service. Overall a good experience in the gorgeous Mount Washington Hotel. Highly recommend the butterscotch bread pudding!
Food and service were great, BUT Stickney’s needs to edit its wine list. A “Napa” Cabernet was listed at $44 that we knew was too good to be true. We asked our waiter if it actually was a Napa wine he stated absolutely. Still a bit suspicious, we ordered the bottle. Returning to the table with the Napa cab, we inspected the label and found the wine was actually a “California” Cabernet, not Napa. A California designation means the wine is collected from several vineyards, not necessarily located in Napa. Vinted
and bottled at a Napa Winery does not make it a Napa wine. A Ford is a car made in Detroit and parking it in a Mercedes Dealership doesn’t make it a Benz. Please don’t misunderstand, we still had an enjoyable evening and our waiter was quite accommodating. It’s just a high end resort/restaurant should have an accurate description of the wines presented. Peace.
The steak was good, but other entrees were just acceptable. Service and ambiance were good.
Enjoyable but not especially memorable. My wife’s Salomon was very good, my sirloin sandwich was just okay. All in all it was fine. The resort is huge and impressive
Expensive and food was over cooked 51$ for steak and it was overdone. It was sent back and came back better but the roasted brussel sprouts were burnt.
The atmosphere at the restaurant is very nice. The service was very good. The food overall was good. I ordered the halibut but I had to send my plate back as it was not hot. Once heated properly it was very good. My husband had the lobster mac and cheese. It was good but very rich and the portion was more than he could eat. He would not order it again but if you are a mac and cheese lover, this is the dish for you! The noise level was energetic but we could hear each other at the table without raising our voices. So despite being a bit loud, it was okay. I would go back to the restaurant again.
I was disappointed in the overall quality. Our waiter was awesome however we felt very rushed and they were not even busy. The 1st table they tried to seat us at was terrible with no view and next to screaming kids. The booth we ended up in was ok but with no view. The BAR was much better and we should have stayed there for our special occasion rather than the dining room. The food was mediocre, such a same. The dessert was the BEST part of our meal. Salmon was average... salad and the plank.
Service staff were great.
Ordered the half chicken..skin was burnt yet rubbery. Interior of chicken showed that if had been cooked while still frozen which explained why it was tough. The entire meal was not quite lukewarm. I did send it back but they just replated onto a hot dish.
I wish there was a better variety
Our server Carlo was outstanding!
Dinner was as always outstanding. My husbands Ribeye was cooked perfect as well as my filet! We love eating here and we are always treated so well as guests.
Great Food, everything was hot and fresh. Good service and scenic views even at night. Recommend the calamari!
Great! Great! Great! Great! Great! Great! Great! Great! Great!
The food was not top level restaurant quality. I recall it being better previous years I have visited.
We have eaten here many times and thia was the worse meal by far. Horrible service, we were celebrating a birthday, the waitrebrought over a slice of cake stuck a candle in it, lit it and said "happy birthday" as he walked off. Didn't bother to wait for my husband to be at the table ( he had stepped away to get some advil for my daughter) never asked if anyone else wanted dessert or coffee. My husband ordered a $56 steak, medium, it arrived full of fat and raw in the middle. In the past, we had always had very nice meals there. Service was not at all attentive and food was average and below average for the steak. Very disappointing.
The entire meal was excellent. To make it outstanding in needs to be a little more affordable.
Casual dining on the lower level of Mount Washington hotel. The food was very reasonably priced. Everything was delicious. Warm soft bread to start. Roasted chicken was perfectly cooked and delicious. My husband had the lobster Mac n cheese and he really enjoyed it. The portions were very generous. The bartender was very friendly. Loved the atmosphere in the bar area.
had A 5:30 RESERVATION, ARRIVED APPROX 5 MINTUES BEFORE HAND, FIRST IN LINE....which eventually grew to 4 parties, all of whom had 5:30 reservations.....unfortunately the hostess arrived more than 10 minutes late, the bartenders and wait service within the bar ( which was reasonably busy) ignored all of us who were standing at the reception desk immediately in front of them.......not a great way to welcome your dinner guests......food was good, but overpriced, the service, after being seated, was great ( Craig ).....not a lot of good ( reasonably priced) dining options when staying at the OMNI ...but it is what it is..
Our experience at Stickney’s was wonderful. We chose it to celebrate our anniversary and we were very happy with the entire evening. Our waiter, Paul, was helpful, kind and attentive. The food was delicious, the wine and beer selections were very good, and we thought the price was appropriate. And the restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. Thanks to the restaurant for a wonderful evening!
Great food and excellent service !!
First time coming for dinner. The experience was amazing. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious
Food was delicious. There on a night that wasn’t crowded and yet had to wait over an hour to get our food.
There is not much you can complain about at any Omni Mt Washington restaurant. The food is always great and the service is wonderful. Pricing could be a little better, it already costs so much to be there, but I get it. Would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying or visiting in the area.
All ok, nothing special.
